This review went from a 5 star, to a three star, and now we sit at 2 :( Update: went back to phong/don and was cut three times during my app :( Update: Went again on 12/18 with Lynn the owner for a fill and left with paint all over my cuticles, misshaped nails, and all n all really poor paint job. Also booked 5 days in advance for an apt and still waited almost 30 min to be seen. Update: Took my mom here for a pedi with an appointment and they made me wait 30 min to start and my mother 55min. No acknowledgment or apology for running so far behind on our appointment times. Just got a new set of acrylic nails by phong and I can finally say I found someone who knows what the heck they doing! He took 1 hour and 20 min to do the perfect set. He’s fast, my nails aren’t thick or odd shaped and my color job was perfect. He’s not a chatter but that’s honestly exactly what I like. I like to watch a show and zone out when I’m getting my nails done and don’t really enjoy the small talk anyways. If you’re searching for a good acrylic guy he’s your man! The owner was also super sweet and welcoming when I made my apt and checked in so that’s a bonus.

Do not go here if you want just a regular mani and pedi. They will make you wait for 45 mins and take other people who want to gel or acrylic before you. Even if you have an appointment, they will make you wait and give priority to gel or acrylic.

Love it here. The owner Lynn will quickly learn your name and address you as such, making you feel so welcome. Don is my nail tech and he is incredible

I love coming here!! Jenny always does an amazing job and Lin is just the best. I also feel this salon has better prices in comparison to other places, but I am never disappointed. My pedicures are always very pleasant and come out so pretty❤️ (not to mention the salon itself is so pretty and quaint)

This is my new nail salon. It is fresh and clean and well equipped with maybe 10 nail stations and 18 pedicure chairs. I am very picky as I normally do my nails myself but decided to quit based on time. "Vickie" does my nails, she does a great job and I really like her attention to detail. She trys to speak English and have a conversation with you, I appreciate not feeling ignored.

Walking around, as I’m visiting from out of state and on a whim decided to get a pedicure. Young man who was pleasant enough but a very poor pedicurist. I was very disappointed. Would not return.

Clean place, but ... not a good service at all. Last time I got $50 pedicure with a polish from a random technician - an older lady. Don't get a service from her! She WASN'T a delightful person to begin with, but hey! We all have our personalities, right? I had no problem for her not being chatty. But.... she is lazy and lies (I don't use these words lightly) - She didn't remove the previous polish completely (I had a solid SILVER layer of polish from my previous pedicure under RED polish after I removed red polish at home) - she barely did any massage - no pressure at all - didn't really try to remove callus or skin. The pedicure had several masks in it and scrub, which helped a little bit - at the end, she told me service was $55. I even asked again because I was confused. $55 service includes hot stones and I didn't have it, because I don't like them. I asked her if she was sure about the price - and she said Yes with aloof demeanor. I decided don't get into argument with her. I would not right this review at all, I would just never show up again, BUT... the layer of the old polish under the new one was over the top presentation of indifference and laziness. Here is my conclusions - this old lady really despises her clients and think they dump people with money that don't know any better. It is easy to lie - clients don't remember any way. I wonder now if all place just like that, but others hiding it better. I had an expectation of this place be a little bit more on higher end and it performed worse than much cheaper places on almost all accounts.

I love Desert Foothills Nails! I prefer to see Hannah as she is excellent at nail art and so fast. All of their staff are great and I love the different tiers of pedicures available.

I tried so hard to like this place. I gave them multiple opportunities before posting this review. Every time I’ve been here, I have scheduled an appointment and been right on time. They are never ready. I always wait 30-45 minutes after my appointment time to even start getting worked on. Do not recommend. Go across the street, there are more nail spots around here but value your time as a customer.

I'm new to AZ and have been to several nail salons and really wasn't satisfied with the results of any of them. I decided to try Desert Foothills Nails and am so happy! They do a great job and are very friendly and welcoming.

One of my most favorite places to go in the area! The team are all friendly and engaging, service is incredible, and it's a very relaxing atmosphere. I get the full pedicure because I enjoy the foot scrub and wax, but there are several options. They are a full service spa, so you can get several types of treatments. It's very relaxing, and a special "treat" to yourself, and highly recommended!

This establishment is extremely rude and does not care what the customer requests. They laugh when you ask questions it is very disrespectful. I gave them multiple chances and they were rude every time and charge expensive on top of that.They charge extra to remove cuticles....Go give your money to a place that will do your nails right and treat you with respect! I don't know how they have business treating customers this way. Much better nail salons in the area.

Spent 3 long hours here. I don’t mind waiting when they are busy, but my service was rushed to accommodate others even though I had an appointment. Got a full set acrylic manicure and their pedicure. The lady who did my manicure was nice but the job and the nail polish was runny and terrible the first time she did them because she was rushing. I kindly said that I didn’t liked them and she said she would re do them after I get my pedicure . The lady that did my pedicure kept getting annoyed because I kept clarifying what I wanted. She kept saying, ”Oh I thought you wanted this” “ I thought you said that.” When she asked if I liked the color on the first few nails she did I said no because it looks different on the actual nail and if she could get me a white that was not milky/light so that my nail looks fully colored. She then said “well I’m going to use what you bring me” which is fine, but if you’re asking if I like something and I say no, then it needs to be fixed! She then got super snappy and short like she was annoyed that she kept being corrected or asked to fix something. Since she got an attitude, she ended up doing a poor job because she just wanted to be done. 3 of my toe nails look terrible, bulky, and 1 is clearly damaged and she didn’t fix it. Once the other lady continued to fix my manicure, the firs polish I had on was still noticeable. How does a nail tech miss that?? I felt so rushed and uncomfortable even though I was kind and respectful. They only do a good job with their regulars and rushed with me to take better care of them. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE. I was hoping to be a regular here, but after this experience, certainly not. I am so upset that I decided to come here. Not worth the $113.
