Adri, was personable and professional! I had a lash lift and tint done along with brow wax and tint. This was my 4th time having this done but my first time with her. She did a wonderful job! I am absolutely in love with my eyes.

I had been wanting to get a brow lamination for a long time, but was nervous to actually do it. I came across Desert Poppy while I was googling places in Cville. I read many of the amazing reviews, and something told me I wouldn’t be disappointed. From the minute I walked into Adri’s suite, I felt super comfortable. We had fun conversation, and she kept me informed of what she was doing during the process. I was very happy with the result of the tint and lamination. I’ve gotten so many compliments, and have to say I am pretty obsessed with how they look- especially a few days after! I am defintiely considering adding a brow lamination to my self care routine going forward.

I've had two separate services at Desert Poppy Beauty—a classic lash full set and a lash lift with tint—and I was blown away by both. Adri is a true lash artist, and her work is fantastic. Plus, the hours are super convenient for those of us with a typical 9-5 job, making it easy to squeeze in some pampering. The location is great too. Adri is new to the area and is quickly becoming the go-to lash guru. Trust me, you want to be one of her regulars before the secret gets out. Can't recommend her enough!

Adri does such amazing job!! She takes such care of your lashes and her detail of her work is phenomenal. She does beautiful eyebrows. My wax and tint on my brows are always stunning. She takes her time and makes sure you're happy.

Adri gave me a great lash lift and tint (better than my last one at Neroli), and was easy to schedule with. I know she also does great work with lash extensions (she does my friends), and I’m considering it in the future. The location is also easy to get to. Thankful for her offerings in Hollymead!

Absolutely stellar experience with eyebrow tinting & lamination! The service provided exceeded all of my expectations. Adri is absolutely amazing. Got my lashes done with her, gave her a general idea of what I wanted and let her do what she wanted for the rest and damn she came through. If you want a comfortable environment, a funny lovely lash artist, and over all killer lashes with great volume (or as my boyfriend said "soul suckingly seductive"), then this is your place.

Adri, is by far my favorite lash girl. I have been to several and she is the only one who really understood what I wanted. Not only did she get the length and fullness correct but she is so gentle. I seriously fell asleep too many times to count while she was filling my lashes. Once a product irritated my eyes so she researched a better fit for me so I’d be more comfortable. Amazing customer service and an over all beautiful human being.

I have been a client of Adri’s for at least 5 years and still would be if she hadn’t moved. Virginia is SO LUCKY!! I have yet to find a lash artist to equal her. Her extensions are by far, the fullest and longest retaining I have ever found! She is the utmost in professionalism, yet the kindest, sweetest, caring person you will find. This girl is so amazing at what she does! She’s so soft to the touch, gets my lashes so full and my lashes stay on and full for a lot longer then most lash artists!!!! I’m so sad she moved away but so happy for the people that get to experience her lash art!!!! 💖🫶🏻
