I went there for my birthday last Sunday. Thanks to Angie, the manager, I had a wonderful experience! I Did the Halotherapy and really enjoyed it. I will definitely go back and get a massage from Ray, who was also very nice.

I visited the spa for a much needed massage while a guest at the Paso Del Norte Hotel. The negatives I have for the spa are that they require a card up front and a two page information sheet filled out before they will see you. This ate into my massage time and I felt the info requested was too intrusive. They also charged my card and added a tip prior to my reaching the desk to check out. I found this to be off putting. And frankly would have tipped more had it been at my own discretion. I probably will not return because of this. It was a little low class for me and leaves no room to question bad service. I would like to restate though that my massage was nice but I was left with intense nerve pain in my back. It did not start until about an hour after the massage and still continues. I am on the fence about the place.

This spa is an amazing hidden gem in EP!! The staff, Carmelo and Paulina were fantastic from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend this spa, and Richard was a good masseuse.

Absolutely beautiful spa. The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming. She really set the pace for relaxation. The lovely atmosphere, sauna after massage, was awesome. Ray is really a phenomenal masseuse. 10+years of experience, and it shows. Located on the 10th floor of the hotel, they get mostly tourist traffic. As a local, I will definitely make this a regular spot. Parking across the street was easy.

Awesome place to visit, pamper yourself and relax. I had a couple’s massage with my wife and both therapists were exceptionally caring and gentle, it was so relaxing that I went to sleep 6 times, the atmosphere, cleanliness and smell of the Spa was incredible. Ray and Jennifer were truly incredible! I will be back for more.

Desiree Cadena was my massage therapist and she was great! It's been years since I've have one and she was very welcoming and inviting, calm. I felt very comfortable with her. Me and my husband did a couples massage and he had Jennifer, he loved it! We were on a Staycation and very much needed this. Thank you El Paso! Definitely recommending!

Had my hair done recently by Kenia and she is absolutely amazing. After several bad experiences with salons and almost resorting to cutting my own hair, I will not trust anyone else with my hair after having seen Kenia!! She is very focused on ensuring you leave happy! Throughout the entire process she would make sure I was comfortable and explained every step. She is one of the only stylists i’ve been to that actually listens to watch the client wants and delivers just that. Even when she was finished, she had me take a look at my hair in different lighting and angles to make sure I was satisfied. She even offered to stay if there was anything that needed to be fixed (which of course there wasn’t because she did an amazing job). Her willingness to go above and beyond for her clients is amazing and I couldn’t be happier with her work. Definitely recommend!

Had two fabulous services: best facial ever with Mark, who is delightful, knowledgeable, and did not try to sell me all the products he used (very refreshing); excellent pedicure with Victoria, again one of the best I've had. I wish I lived closer, I'd be a regular if I called El Paso home. All the staff were very kind. 5 Stars all around!

I had a lovely time celebrating my seventh anniversary with my partner here last weekend! I definitely recommend making an appointment if you’re looking to relax and de-stress. Carmelo and Paulina at the front desk at the spa were both very welcoming and helpful; they were very knowledgeable about the different services and add-ons and helped me plan the perfect afternoon for me and my partner. My massage therapist was Jenny and my partner’s massage therapist was Ray, I highly recommend both of them! This was my first massage and I was pretty nervous, but Jenny made me feel very comfortable and I had an incredible time. We decided to get 50-minute massages, but next time I would definitely go for the 80-minute option instead. I also HIGHLY recommend getting the hot rocks add-on, it was absolutely worth it. After the massage, we had champagne in the salt room and then relaxed in the sauna for a while. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, we both felt very rejuvenated afterwards! All the facilities were very clean and the staff was LGBT+ friendly, my partner and I were both very comfortable the whole visit :) Very excited to come again!

A SPA YOU MUST VISIT IN EL PASO!! My wife and I were amazingly surprised at how incredible this experience was when visiting our hometown. We love to go to spas around the world whenever we travel so it’s nice to know we now have our forever “go to” spa when we are visiting El Paso. From Angie the Spa Manager to my message therpist Ray and my esthetician Alejandro- they all deserve special recognition! Ray worked diligently on the muscles that needed special attention and even gave me some exercise tips to help me post massage. Alejandro gave me my first facial in over 10 years and I have to say, Alejandro has now set the standard of what I need when I get my next one back home in Dallas. The level of expertise, knowledge, and comfort was top tier. And since then I have felt like my skin is glowing and extra hydrated. Aside from my providers and their amazing service, the salt halo room, hot tea, and accommodations were a great way to close out our day. The desert spirit spa team all made me and my wife’s experience so lovely and relaxing. And I’m so grateful for that.

A hidden gem. This establishment has spared no expense to create a comfortable, clean, tranquil, and welcoming environment. Angie at the front desk made sure we had water and access to the sauna and salt room (which was almost as relaxing as the massage). The massage therapist David was experienced and extremely responsive. Lined with birch trees, the waiting room makes you feel relaxed immediately. Stress just melts away here.

I’m happy to say I had a very good experience at Desert Spirit Spa and had one of the best massages ever. The staff was excellent and my massage therapist - Cruz - was very attuned to my body’s issues and quickly relieved my tension and soreness. Amazing actually! Highly recommend.

My husband bought me a massage for our anniversary but unfortunately I didn’t have a great experience. The front desk and massage therapist were very friendly but the massage was mediocre at best. I think get the therapist may have not given many massages before. The lighting was too bright in the private massage room and the room itself was cold and un-inviting. I kept hearing a clanging sound during the massage, the lotion felt cheap, warm towels were put on my feet and then left there so they got cold, the table was put at a decline which made me feel very dizzy for 30 minutes after the massage. I paid extra for hot stones that were barely warm. I feel a message should be relaxing and I don’t feel like I should have to tell the therapist what to do every 10 minutes. Last, there are community locker rooms with shared showers and facilities. The shower wasn’t working, but they told me it was being fixed. Overall not worth the money, and I won’t be back.

Some hits and some misses at the Desert Spirit Spa. Overall experience was fine, but I cannot be overly enthusiastic in my review. It is located in the lovely Hotel Paso del Norte. The spa space is beautiful, quiet, peaceful. I booked a massage and the spa called back to re-book the time. I booked a 90 min massage, but when I got there the spa staff was running behind and the massage had to be shortened to 60 min. Treatment room was comfortable. Desiree did a nice job with the massage. Changing room was modest in size, but well appointed and clean. Lockers were provided for personal items. The steam room was just medium-warm. I get massages regularly...prices here were very high for the quality of the experience.

What an amazing spa day!!! If you’re ever looking for a quality 5 star spa experience in El Paso, this will be the place to book all your spa services and needs. My wife and I received massages and facials- both were out of this world. My massage therapist was Desiree and OMG her hands are truly a gift from god! haha I mean it because I am so picky with massages. My esthetician was Marco and he was so knowledgeable and I loved that he left me with an amazing routine to take home to Dallas. Overall this was such a lovely spa day. I will come have my services here every time I come visit home!

How can I rate this place 10 stars?! This place was so, so wonderful. My coworker and I were in town and decided to treat ourselves to a relaxing day at the spa after a grueling last few months of exhausting work and travel. Cruz gave me the best message of my life!! Truly!! He used a variety of techniques and tools to target areas of pain and much discomfort. I left feeling 10 lbs lighter; my neck, head and shoulders felt instantly relieved of a heavy weight. The spa itself is elegant, sophisticated, warm and inviting. Angie at the front desk is like an old friend and provides a ton of helpful information. Treat yourself, treat a loved one and run to Desert Spirit Spa inside the Hotel Paso Del Norte.

This spa was fantastic! The suana and salt room were lovely and relaxing. Elizabeth gave me a great facial. Cruz gave me probably the best massage I've ever had. I felt like a new person leaving! Five stars, would definitely recommend and will definitely return!

We stayed at the hotel and decided to have a semi spa day. Angie steered us through the list of services and we ended up with two signature pedicures by Sky that were very relaxing. We opted for the add on salt room and we also used the sauna. Everything was so clean and wonderful and Angie kept coming to check up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Because the spa is here at the Hotel I think we will start making this our primary hotel in El Paso when we come into town. I’m looking forward to trying all their services in the future.
