Being from out of town it was very difficult to choose a salon with so many in Reno. However, I chose one of the best places without knowing!!! Bea is fantastic!! She asked what I wanted and she listened. My hair came out amazing! I love my highlights! I highly recommend her! And she is adorable!

I am absolutely stunned by how incredibly talented Elizabeth is. She listened to what I wanted, but also provided great advice about what color would look best given my natural color. She was so meticulous and detailed throughout the process. My cut and color came out so much better than I ever imagined. I can’t get over how wonderful the salon is and how much I appreciate Elizabeth’s beautiful work!

If you’re looking for a luxury hair salon in Reno, Desert Strands is it! Every single one of the stylists are highly trained, talented, professional, genuine, and friendly. Siera has created a salon environment that makes clients feel right at home with everything from snacks and drinks to free wifi and comfy chairs. I would highly recommend any of the stylists at Desert Strands for your hair color and extension needs!

Gabrielle & Bailey are the best dynamic duo! I’ve been going to Gabrielle for almost 2 years and I have nothing but AMAZING things to say. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone. My extension & color always look 10/10. My girl for life!!

Gabrielle at Desert strands has been my hair stylist for over 3 years now and she truly is a master in her art. I always leave feeling beautiful and refreshed in my self care. Desert strands is also a gorgeous salon and everyone who works there are wonderful.

This salon is beautiful and everyone is so friendly! Gabrielle has been doing my hair for years and does the most amazing job! I am so picky when it comes to my hair and there is no one else I would let touch my hair since she started doing it. She is amazing! I would and have recommended her over and over again.

Upon moving to Reno, I knew this was my spot. Sierra and her staff are beyond professional, have the best hair coloring techniques, hair cutting and extension talents in the Reno area. The salon is clean, hip, and have the best Oribe products. I get compliments all the time on my hair, even from my prior hair stylist! That speaks volumes! If your new the the area or just need a change, I highly recommend giving the salon team at Desert Strands a try!

I went to Desert Strands with my mom for a haircut. I truly had the BEST experience with Siera as she trimmed my hair. I have long hair and I love keeping my length and that’s exactly what she did. My hair looks so healthy & long! I can’t wait to come back.

This salon is gorgeous, and all the stylists are kind and accommodating. It’s a relaxing environment, and I really feel like my stylist Megan truly understands what I want whenever I come in. My hair is the longest and healthiest it has ever been, all thanks to the excellent care, advice, and top-tier products.

I have visited numerous Salons since moving back to Reno and without question, Desert Strands is the top Salon in the market. My experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The business owner - Siera shows unrivaled pride about her Salon by offering the best possible service, listening to the customers needs, and actually delivering time and time again. The ambiance is incredible and is beautiful. The receptionist offers you a water or other beverage upon arrival and makes you immediately feel welcome. I couldn’t speak more highly about this Salon and the service they offer. I highly recommend.
