I enjoyed my appointment, but have not been able to book a follow up ever since, they’re not helpful, don’t answer their phones and would not book me on 2 separate occasions. Not worth all the stress when I just need a hair trim.

Heather has been cutting my hair since I moved to Raleigh many years ago and now bring my daughters with me to get their hair cut as well. You won't find a better place in Raleigh for men or women's hair needs.

I used DGS for my wedding and loved the entire experience. All the stylists are friendly, professional and know exactly what they're doing! They also made me feel comfortable and letting them know what I did and didn't like and when I changed the style I sent them just two weeks before! They were extremely accommodating! I tried to find photos of the backs of our hair but couldn't really find any. I paid for the 4 BM, two mothers and myself and it was under $500, I believe. Most got blowouts with some styling. The price is also fantastic for being downtown Raleigh and for a wedding. This is a great spot for a budget friendly wedding. Can't recommend them enough!

Lauren is absolutely awesome, so kind, and she is very hardworking. Same with Heather. My mom and I have been going to Lauren for years. Their pricing is affordable and you can expect high quality results.

This place is amazing. The staff is great and I feel completely safe during Covid because of their protocols and procedures. Terri is a rockstar stylist!! Everyone thinks this is the best haircut I’ve ever had! I totally agree. Thanks Terri!!

i was there mid June for the first time and the ladies there are super awesome, the haircut was even more amazing. overall this place is gold when it comes to customer service and haircuts.

I’ve been going here for 2 years. It’s such a cute spot nestled into historic City Market. The stylists here are so nice, so friendly, and so good at what they do. My stylist is Lindsey, and she always listens to my suggestions and is helpful for giving me input on them too. Price is 👍🏼

This is my new go-to salon!! I ended up scheduling an appointment here since the place I usually go was fully booked, and I'm so glad I did. Lindsey did such an amazing job on my hair and spent extra time making sure I was completely satisfied with the color. My hair actually looks better than I expected and it even cost less than I usually pay!

I can't say enough good things about my experiences here. Heather is an amazing artist and always makes me look great! I get compliments all of the time about how pretty my "natural" red hair is...but it isn't natural! I've been going to Heather since 2004!
