I purchased a Groupon for partial highlights with trim. Cheryl charged me an extra $65 “up-charge” for the length of my hair, which is shoulder length. The cost of the Groupon was $54,.Scam!

Both my husband & I get our hair cut with Cheryl for a long time. My husband was going to her 1st & I followed was a great decision! I start going after having cancer. She understood my special needs in trying to grow back damaged hair. Her establishment is awesome she has all the latest products to keep your cut & style looking great. I have let my hair go naturally Grey but I've seen her dyes & hi-lights & they are something else! There's purses & belts that I have never seen anywhere else! If you need an unique gift this is THE PLACE. There are earrings bracelets necklaces in very high quality materials for everyone's style. I now have my sister going to her! She's located in a great spot & has been there for many years pluss she's the OWNER & a SWEETHEART. WE recommend this establishment very highly she's professional the salon is clean & inviting. Please check her out 100%.

I have curly hair and i can’t just go to your average haircutting place. Ever since I started seeing Cheryl I refuse to go back anywhere. Always so knowledgeable and understanding. Willing to work with you and is patient and is absolutely amazing, definitely found her niche. Worth the drive and will absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Cheryl, the owner, does an ok job. The problem is I have never paid the same over 18 months for the same services. Prices increase every visit. The salon is old, outdated and dingy.. Reminds one of the early 70's but the prices are 2020's. Not worth going to this salon due to the mediocre hair services, argumentative owner/stylist and ever changing prices.

I wished I had read the many many horrible reviews on Cheryl prior to going in. I went in simply asking for a semi permanent gloss. Cheryl did a terrible job with such an easy request. She seemed rushed and I left with my crown being very dark compared to the dark blond Color I came in with. The middle and ends of my hair were different colors which leads me to believe she didn't fully saturate my long hair evenly. She did a poor job with the blow dry and curled only a few pieces, sending me on my way. After she finished, she told me I had to pay $20 extra for long hair. She then told me she would charge me another fee if I used my debit card. These two things should have been brought up prior to starting any process on my hair. I had made the appointment weeks in advance and we had text a few times, so she new I wanted a single process all over deposit only gloss. She charged me $86 and I left her a tip. Within one hour, I text her saying my hair color was very uneven and if she could fix it. I offered her four different dates. She argued and played backand forth games for a while which surprised me. I sent her three pics after she told me to wash it repeatedly. My top remained dark, while I had three different shades throughout the middle and ends. It looked absolutely horrible and I wanted her to fix it before I went back to work as I was so embarrassed. She offered me a partial refund so someone else could fix it because she said she's unavailable. She never Forwarded payment and I'm now forced to go through BBB and small claims. Cheryl is very unprofessional and doesn't pride herself in quality work. Her salon is on Swan/Ft. Lowell at 3031 N Swan. I've never dealt with someone so unprofessional and careless as Cheryl.

Don’t go unless you want to have your hair ruined and then proceed blocked by the hair stylist without the offer of a refund. This place is the worst hair salon I’ve ever been too. Very unprofessional, sloppy, rude, and overall a horrible experience. Not only was the hair color and cut provided horrible but also the customer service. I enter with a light brown copper that I had just recently achieved about 2 months prior (I had been black box dye previous so I was very proud to have achieved this copper). I tell Cheryl I would like my roots the brown copper and she decides that she will do the roots then “water down” the color for the rest of my hair. I’m not the professional here so I agree. As she applies the color very fast and sloppy, I notice that it isn’t the color I had wished but move on since it’s not finished. The finished color was a dark brown/ black with bright red mixed in, NOTHING close to a copper light brown color. The dye job was so sloppy my bangs are now darker than the rest of my hair with splotches of red thrown in the mix. It’s actually hilarious how bad at color theory Cheryl is, you would think she is color blind. Next was the cut, I told her I wanted layers and boy did she miss that point. The back of my head is two distinct and noticeable different cuts, all very uneven and sloppy. When I told Cheryl later how badly she ruined my hair hoping she’d offer to redo it or offer a refund, I GOT BLOCKED. The level of unprofessionalism is through the roof, do not go unless you’re above the age of 60 and are blind.

They used 409 cleaner to remove the stain black color after it ran down my face. I heard two woman say it on the back before the hair dresser came to my face with a cloth. I had no idea she was talking about my face. When I asked if that had 409 on the chemical smelling rag she pressed on my face she lied. Do not do the Groupon deal

Walked in and felt at home in this busy but cultivated space. Like this salon has been around for years but my first visit felt like I should just be a regular. Karen trimmed, colored & deep conditioned my very washed out, grown out, & processed hair. I had been a bleach blonde with remnants of a blue phase but was delighted to walk out with rich red tresses that earned me several compliments. Cheryl was great too giving input on how to address my multicolored issues after doing many home dye jobs. Plus they have some seriously cute bags and other technicians who perform other services, lashing (extensions), manicure, etc. I am looking forward to next time!

Don't trust this place they jack up your hair and then charge you for it!!! Also the owner is loud, rude, and straight down dirty to her customers. Don't buy the Groupon neither because they are unprofessional and give Groupon a bad name and reputation!

Had permanent makeup done by Kristen. Very accommodating and professional. Very thorough and made sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it. Eyebrows were virtually pain free.

I booked a Groupon after much argument from the staff. When I got to my appointment they had double booked me but Cheryl did not realize it until after she redeemed my Groupon. She was very rude about the whole situation. Got into an argument with her because she would not give me her name. I would never use this place. So unprofessional and so rude.

My daughter purchased a Groupon for me for my birthday. Scheduling the appointment was not an easy task. My entire experience with this owner was awful! Leave a message and you get a text back saying they will call you to schedule the appointment. When I finally got the call back it was way past business hours. Very rude and short with you. I had an issue finding the voucher, so I called and asked if they would be able to locate on their end. She was very annoyed at the situation and said things like, "its not that hard to find on your Groupon App" and so on. She then stated she would give me the current Groupon Rate of $34 if I could not find my voucher. I then found the voucher and sent her a copy of it. She said because it is expired I would owe another $15 dollars. I called and spoke to her, asked her if she will still honor the voucher. She said yes. I advised her the voucher is for $40. She said okay, you still owe $15. I asked her how she came up with that math. She then raises her voice at me and is YELLING at me. "Because some people only pay $23 and other pay more so we just pick this amount and that's what we got with." I asked her again, if my voucher is for $40, and yesterday she told me she would charge me $34, then I should be good. She keeps yelling and says "then pay nothing!" I asked her if she yells at all her customers like this and that I would be leaving a review and she hung up on my. Moral of the story. I will not support a business that yells at their customers! I will go elsewhere! Very Rude owner!

Scheduled an appointment with them, got a phone call from them saying that somebody had called out and asked if we could do our couples massage one at a time. Which I understand; however, it defeats the whole idea of a couples massage. So I asked if we could reschedule for Monday or Wednesday. They work Tuesday through Sunday, which is fine. I asked if I could have it done on Wednesday around 4 PM. The lady I was speaking to Continued to say time and days that didn’t work for me because I have to work. She then had the audacity to question why I was off one Thursday which was none of her business. So I told her go ahead and cancel it and she questioned me and said “and then what!?” very rudely. I don’t want to have any services done by somebody who is really rude like that, let alone touch me. Would not recommend this place to anybody. Being a massage place/ spa You’re better off going somewhere they treat you with respect and make it stress free and relaxing. Don’t waste your money and time.

This place is extremely unprofessional and petty. It's kind of comical how they attack people who leave 1 star reviews. I got my hair done back in March by Cheryl and was very disappointed. I have very dark brown hair and all she did was complain how it was too dark and thick. She also was eating and smacking her mouth.. it was super gross. She made coleslaw out of my "Haircut ", and left me under the heater for WAAAY to long. I actually left with a burned forehead. I wanted honey highlights and left with fried brassy neon yellow highlights. I wanted to cry. I attempted to FIX the train wreck she left for MONTHS. I finally got it somewhat presentable and by September, I went to a friends recommended salon and was SUPER HAPPY. FINALLY, a professional place where they're professional, warm and kind. It's on 1st. Emily's salon. Monica does a phenomenal job. Save your money and steer clear of this horrible place and go to Emily's salon instead. Monica is wonderful.

Took my 95 year old mom and myself for a haircut...style and pede for mom...Cheryl was fun and a joy to be around. We were extremely pleased with her expertise as a stylist. Even though I live 1 hr 45 min away...it was definitely worth the travel time. We are both Super happy with the results. Plan on coming back!
