Vivi was professional, personal and patient. I’ve been looking for a new barber for a while and to entrust someone to do a hair cut and beard trim and it was overall great experience. I will be back for sure !

$40 for a haircut is understandable but adding $15 for what they call a “skin fade” is absurd. Asked for a mid fade done at a 0 was told that anything under a 1/2 is $55. Got a beard trim done as well didn’t know those cost $22 now for the slightest beard trim. I used to go to diesel all the time before Covid and it always cost me $50 for a haircut and beard trim now their prices are absurd. Not to mention that I had an appointment booked for 3:30 got there they let 2 others go in front of me so I wasn’t able to get my haircut until almost 5 and was late to a wedding rehearsal. This place has gone completely down hill.

I arrived and they told me to wait 20 minutes, after this time I waited 10 more minutes and they never called me, they make you waste your time

I’ve been searching for a great barbershop in the San Antonio area for the past year, and I’m so glad I found Diesel Barbershop Dominion Oaks. The vibe and look of the place are spot on, and the staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. The online booking system is seamless and makes scheduling a breeze. My stylist, Vivi, is absolutely the best! She’s professional, knowledgeable, and communicates excellently. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Highly recommend Diesel Barbershop!

Had an appointment in the afternoon for a haircut and a beard trim. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Brianna was my stylist. Excellent work, I'm very happy with the end result. I can be a bit vague with direction, but Brianna made it work! I'll be coming back for my next haircut!

My 12-year-old son loves to go here. The staff is always friendly and they do a great job listening to what he wants to get done with his hair. I am really glad we found a place that he feels like a young man and loves to getting a soda on the way out!

Easily one of the worst haircut i’ve ever received… I’ve already booked another appointment at another spot to salvage it. The barber was nice, so i still tipped and didnt complain, but said barber was obviously very inexperienced… and it didnt help that they were understaffed, and the barber kept having to stop to answer calls, talk to other customers, etc. I don’t know how this place is still in business… you def want to avoid!

Viví is an amazing barber and always gives the best service making you comfortable each appointment. You never feel rushed and always feel attended to. She takes the time to walk you through your hair cut no matter how many times she’s cut your hair. she makes sure you are confident with the outcome.

Scheduled an appointment and let them know this is for an important occasion. I came to the store and they told me that a person walked in before me and now that I need to wait 1h for me to get a haircut. Not only that, the reception guy said its not his fault (he said he just came in) and that it was his Coworkers fault and that she is to be blamed. This all looked very unprofessional and also quite disrespectful the way they spoke to me. No apologies is the worst part for me. I felt terrible and I drove a long way to come here. I won't recommend this place in the future.

I was not sure what to expect other than have a very good hair cut and shaving. I found this experience above and beyond. The hair cut was done professionally and using the correct tools. Gerald began by using scissors, and then the machine, but he also was very careful not to pull hairs or moving my head in a rough manner. He also asked me if I wanted my eyebrows to be trimmed! At the end, he used a machine to give me a massage on the shoulders and upper back.
