Cortney has been coloring and styling my hair for years. She’s not only amazing but very knowledgeable in her field. I have dark brown hair with a bit of wave and she knows exactly how to cut it to keep it looking beautiful and healthy. She also cuts my teenage son’s hair and he has a lot of curls!

Jason is amazing. He made me feel so comfortable and he provided his expertise on my hair type and texture to help me get the look and cut I was after. He was so easy to talk to and had awesome local recommendations as well! Definitely go see him!!

Destiny did my haircut and this is one of the best haircuts that I’ve had in years. She did such a great job of making sure she knew what I wanted and talked me through everything. I’ve never felt so comfortable during a haircut. I will be back for sure.

Just got a bad partial balayage. They gave me a weave instead. A senior talent was helping the new talent and just jumped in without asking what I wanted. Unfortunately I won’t be going back. Plus they up charge without disclosing. Upcharge per bowl, and had they given me what I asked for, it would have been only one bowl. Then charged for gloss. Never asked for it. No clue it was an additional charge. Now I have super blonde hair that I don’t want.

I came to Distinctive from Minnesota where I had a wonderful stylist that I was afraid to leave and thought I would have to fly back to to get my hair cut right. I gave Andrea at Distinctive a try and she cut it just how I like it and did such a fantastic job I felt confident going back to her and have for the past 4 years! She now colors my hair too and always makes sure I am happy with the color. I highly recommend Andrea! She listens to what you want and does a spectacular job delivering it!

Jason is the king of coloring... & styling as well as cuts! He's all around talented! He knows styles & face shapes & really takes the time to be sure of what u want. He took my loong hair from dark brown to this beautiful mix of blondes! Obsessesd! I'll never be going to a different stylist ever again. I leave every single appointment feeling like a goddess! I had an appointment with Marjorie at Distinctive Salon in March. I was in AZ on vacation and my hotel did not have great water pressure. I have a lot of hair and Marjorie did a great job! She treated me like a longtime customer, not just a walk-in. Thank you, Marjorie, for taking such good care of me!

Run, don’t walk…RUN to this amazing salon and ask for Leanne! Hands down this is the best cut, highlight & style I have ever had, and I was a Spa/Salon Director for many years. Leanne is the ONLY stylist who has styled my hair as though I’m stepping out of a magazine shoot. Amazing! The Aveda products are wonderful, of course, and the customer service is outstanding with everyone throughout. I feel so lucky to have found this salon, and more importantly Leanne!

Great experience at Biltmore location yesterday. Destiny did such a wonderful job recoloring my hair, working so hard to blow my curly hair smooth and straight. Simply beautiful!!

Hailey did a great job at cutting my hair. She was knowledgeable and my hair cut shapes my face very well. I have long hair and she clarified what length she recommended to cut and ask if I was comfortable before she went and cut it. Store manager is very hands on with her employees as well. I noticed her mentoring Hailey.
