Very unprofessional. I booked an 11AM appointment. I arrived 5 minutes early. I was greeted as if I was a bother. The lady had in AirPods and was talking on the phone while doing two other people’s hair. 30 minutes passed by and I’m still not sitting in the chair at the very least. I booked with Laly but she was nowhere to be found. Another lady was working on two other clients. If you do not have availability you shouldn’t allow people to book to avoid double and triple booking.

Please ladies, if you have curly hair or need color, do not hesitate to visit this salon. The entire team is amazing and very knowledgeable. Laly is my go to person for cut and color.

Worse hair salon I've ever been. I had an appointment at 3pm and of course I arrived there on time,I waited for 4 hours they just permed and washed my hair, they didn't even style my hair, then I decided to leave, they charged me $130. And then when I called them, to let them know that I wasn't happy about the service they told me to come back another day so they can finish it. I'll never go back again. Stay away from that place!

It’s been years since I’ve trusted anyone with my hair. I was hesitant to get my hair done at a salon after multiple bad jobs at other salons that “claim” to know how to work with ethnic hair. I was ready to chop it off and ready for a change. I have 3a/b hair and she did an amazing job!! I love it and I’m happy I found Diva’s Dominican Salon. Customer for life! ♥️

Fantastic service and all the stylists are talented. I have 3C hair and they deep conditioned, cut and styled my hair in about 1.5 hours and for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend to my mixed race and 3C and up hair types.

For me was a really good experience, actually I feel comfortable, the lady listen what I want and the results were really nice, Sundays are open by appointment, during the week you can walk in.

If you are black and have 4c hair, please do not go. They are racist toward your hair and very rude. I do not blame them because they are Dominicans and they hate 4c hair. The comments that was made about my hair was very rude. The funny thing is they thought I do not understand Spanish. I understood everything. I should have sued them for being racist and discriminatory but because the owner seems pretty cool, I let it slide.

This place is horrible starting with the customer service. You are never greeted, just looked at like you’re bothering them. They ask you rudely you want then proceed to cut your hair like you’re an annoyance and not a paying customer. Unless you are part of the random people they know that they are serving then you aren’t treated equally. They’re friendly with everyone else they know but not other customers. My daughter has curly hair and they cut it dry, brushed out, at a V. It’s the worst haircut I’ve ever seen and they took 5-10 mins. It looks like she has a bob on top and a mullet at the bottom. As someone with experience in this field, I’m mortified. How can you even charge people for this? Unfortunately my husband took her and didn’t know better. Plus the lady poked her eye and didn’t even apologize and was intentionally brushing her hair very hard. I’m shocked. My husband stated “I just hated the service. They were very careless. And just did whatever so we could leave”.

1st time going. I was scared. I have thin naturally wavy curly hair. Let me tell you, girrrrrrl!!!!!! She cut it short, but it was good. I absolutely love my baby curls. More importantly, I felt at home. You could feel the love.For all my curly hair ladies, this is the place. Be prepared to leave looking fabulous. 💋

EDIT: I recently got a pixie cut because the comments the employee made kept bothering me. changed to one star, seeing people with the same complaints and being treated poorly based on the hair type. I'm not surprised. Place is good, nothing wrong with the location itself. The only problem is that when I was getting my hair combed out (I'm black, my natural hair gets tangled and easily gets knots) the worker kept making comments like "what are you doing with your hair??" AS IF I did this on purpose... as she kept pulling out the knots and all, IN FRONT of another customer making those comments... Alot of hair on the comb, not really gentle with it.... I was really embarrassed and didn't know what to say, I really wished she didn't say that :/ based on the other reviews, it seems like I wasn't the only one with this issue.. I wasn't feeling good after that, I kinda wanted to walk out and just tell her don't bother with it if it was such a struggle (literally heard her grunting as if this was too much to handle), but I just sat it out until my hair was dried for another girl to straighten it. Wasn't happy about the attitude of the first girl. Idk, it just made me feel ashamed of my hair even more... and it's odd how this place promises to make you feel your best. And I didn't feel that at all..

Great customer service and customer experience !!!! Needed a new place to get my hair done and my boys haircut since we moved to El Paso and we find it! We love the end result and we will definitely go back. I highly recommend this place if you want your hair done right. My sons haircuts look amazing and I just can’t stop looking at my hair. I love it soo much. Thank you ☺️!!! ¡¡¡¡Gran servicio al cliente y experiencia al cliente. ¡Necesitaba un nuevo lugar para arreglarme el pelo y cortarme el pelo a mis hijos desde que nos mudamos a El Paso y lo encontramos! Nos encanta el resultado final y definitivamente volveremos. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar si quieres peinarte bien. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! My friend went there and they yanked and tore off FIVE HANDFULS OF HAIR OFF OF HER HEAD!!! And they treated her HORRIBLY! It wasn’t until they realized she had long hair, that they started being nice to her and stopped being aggressive. You were literally able to hear the raking and snapping of the hair as it was being “brushed.” My friend was being manhandled simply because of how curly her hair was, they assumed it was short, or if they were being racist towards her because she didn’t speak Spanish. I don’t recommend ANYONE going here.

I scheduled my daughter for an appointment to do her hair part of her 16th birthday. They canceled it due to an emergency. I contacted them and told them my daughter was heart broken. They still came back after hours to do her hair at 8pm. I appreciate what they did for my daughter.

They wouldn't take the time to slowly combout my hair and just ripped out my hair I'm postpartum an I told them my hair it weak cuz of it an comb out my hair dry no conditioner an after proceeded to keep combing from the roots down also made comments about it being tangled loudly honestly will never go again I have a literal headache from them yanking my hair out I had hand full of hair come out an most of which wasn't dead hair I am black with 4b hair

Doesn’t matter if you have an appt or not, there’s no type of order at all! I was there for 4 hours with an early appt and everyone that came in after me was seen and done before me. Just a simple wash and flat iron .. don’t come here unless you have nothing else to do

I walked in for a color consult, and she took the time to hear me and I was able to get my hair colored, treated and cut for 150.00. And that was cheaper than alot of other places pre holiday timing too. Will be back for root touch ups when needed.

I’ve gone 3 times Every time I go they always have a attitude problem the energy of the environment is not welcoming. very aggressive with my Hair as if they’re in a rush and prices always change even though I get the same silk press. Third time was the cherry on top for me personally not going back or recommend. Ending product looks great but walk away with my scalp throbbing, hurting and when it comes to Wash days my hair is very damaged so I only keep the press in max three days.

This was my first time at this establishment their service was very fast and Omg the hair wash was amazing . I got a treatment wash and trim I’ll definitely be going back . Thanks ladies .. (ohhh u can’t beat the prices )

Took my 5 year old mixed daughter here. First time they did a good job and price wasnt bad for a wash and trim, $35. Today, my husband took her. They did a wash, trim, blow dry and 2 french braids $85!!! Not sure why a 5 year old is being charged $85. Definately not going back for those prices. All the ladies in there are not very friendly until you speak spanish. other than that, i recommend asking what their prices are BEFORE getting serviced.

Went in today, 6 months post, "the big chop". I avoided salons due to alopecia auretas causing bald spots, but i couldn't feel confident wearing my hair because there was no shape to it. I was greeted when i came in and offered refreshment. My hair was a mess when i walked but i walked out not feeling as though i needed to hide myself anymore. I felt like a new woman. This is definitely a good place to go if you want nice music, and good atmosphere, and to get back in touch with your queendom.

Wow, 2nd salon in ElPaso and batting a ZERO. The music is so LOUD in that place it feels like a BAR. They get you in quickly, wash your hair so you don’t notice how loud and disconcerting the salon is until you’re sitting under hair dryer. I kept thinking, someone might come in and rob us. The environment was very “street like” inside business. Asked my stylist if they could turn music down and was told to ask owner. Owner said, she liked her music loud. Paid for partial service and quickly left. Stay far away from this place. SCARY!!
