Misora at Dlala is AMAZING! She is the only person I’ve let touch my hair in nearly a decade. She is extremely diligent and always takes the time to make sure you two are on the same page. I always leave with a smile on my face. Can’t recommend Misora enough!

I LOVE Dlala! I have been coming here for several years now and will never go anywhere else so long as Misora is there! I have lots of thick hair with a lot of body and for years I had so much trouble getting a cut I liked. I was recommended to come see Misora by a girlfriend and at this point everyone in our friend group sees her now. I always get an amazing cut and style and have a relaxing time. Misora pays much attention to detail and I always get great advice and explanations of why one thing will do xyz and another will do abc for me which is really helpful and interesting to me. Thank you Misora and Dlala!

I never write reviews (or I typically do when it’s an amazing experience), but this was the worst customer experience I’ve ever had in my life. The stylist was Mami (goes by Lauren I think), she was extremely rude to a point that I felt assaulted by her. She asked what kind of haircut I wanted and when I explained what I needed (literally was a simple trim to get dry ends off), she was extremely impatient. She complained that I can’t keep my head straight in the chair and how has any stylist ever worked with me, to a point where she aggressively adjusted my head - gave me half a hair cut and stopped midway saying I’ll have to stop. At this point I’m sitting in the chair with one side cut and told her the other side is much longer - she complained it’s because I can’t keep my head straight. She vigorously kept shaking my head. Absolutely ridiculous, extremely disrespectful, and extremely overpriced for the worst service of my life. After this she had the audacity to ask for a generous tip through venmo. Never going again and I wouldn’t have written this review given how hard businesses are trying during Covid, but it’s important to report how I felt assaulted in this place.

I've been coming to see Misora for over three years now for both haircuts and highlights, and I absolutely love her. Highly recommend this salon to anyone, but especially if you have Asian-type hair. The staff are very nice, the space is clean, and the music is great (quite important if you're sitting in a chair for a 3+ hour appointment!)

Mami did an amazing job with my hair! I felt bad asking for a style change on my first visit, but she was patient and made sure she understood exactly what I was going for. The rest of the staff at Dlala/Redge seem just as friendly and skilled too!

Mami is AMAZING. She's become the only person I trust to cut and dye my hair. She always takes her time to explain everything, make sure everything is the length and color I want etc. I had a painful, random allergic reaction to color on one occasion with Mami (never happened before and hasn't happened since), and she was extremely concerned and immediately washed everything out and made sure I was OK. She gave me aftercare instructions for my scalp and checked in with me the next day to see how my scalp was. On my next coloring appointment 6 weeks later, she had gotten me a scalp protectant which she applied just in case the reaction happened again and kept checking in with me throughout the whole process. I always get compliments on my cut and color whenever I leave Dlala, and I've recommended the salon to 2 other friends who are now also loyal customers. I would recommend anyone to see Mami for cut and/or color!

The worst experience of my entire life and I am not exaggerating. My stylist’s name was “Mami” and I have never worked with anyone as entitled and rude as her. I came here to get a natural balayage. This girl not only ruined my hair by over-toning it, but she was also extremely impatient and horrible with communication. My appointment was supposedly be 6 hours long, but they made a mistake in their system so she was trying to hurry up and get everything done under 5 hours. As a customer, I needed to know what kind of product she was using in my hair because I have very sensitive skin. I asked a few simple questions about the products and the process to educate myself and she had the audacity to raise her voice on me and yelled, “You don’t need to know everything!” (Uh, yes I do???) I used to go to Kiwa Salon and Hair Repair Bar by Giojé (HIGHLY recommended both of these guys! They always make sure you walk out their door looking beautiful and they are the nicest people with work with unlike Mami.) I only wanted to give Dlala a shot because the reviews seemed decent – BIG mistake!! Mami, if you are reading this, please go see a therapist. Your attitude is troublesome.

Worst hair color experience I've ever had. I asked Toshi for a dark brown color and he completely fried my hair with bleach and it is now so orange. My hair is completely destroyed. On top of that, I found Toshi very condescending and pushy. I am so upset about my hair. On top of that, they charge so much.
