I’ve been coming to Dolce Hair Salon for nine years and I love Christopher he’s so kind, patient, has a great sense of humor, and always creates magical hair. The atmosphere is amazing at this wonderful salon and the people who work here are amazing at their craft.

Started out great. Gave her the picture! Had a slight box dye bumble while on vacation and needed the top lightened as it had oranged on me... and then it ended in picture 3 and I paid 269$ for it.. That's bullcrap. Not happy. Absolutely useless

This was my 1st time at this salon. I had to find a place closer to my new house. Switching stylist always makes me nervous! Terra was super friendly. Listened to my concerns and gave feedback.She was super friendly. Never made me feel rushed. She did a phenomenal job with my hair cut, highlights and eyebrows. I'm so happy I found her! The atmosphere there was so quiet relaxing and peaceful. I really enjoyed my time there. Christopher rinsed and conditioned my hair while she was busy tending to something else. That man has magic hands! I would literally pay him just to wash my hair. I give this salon a 5 star review it was a great well needed experience. Price was about what I expected no unexpected surprises

German is the best hair stylist in Lexington! I have been going to him for 10 years and no one does hair like he does. I will always tell everyone where to go and who to go to and that is German Guilani!! 😄 Our talks are so great and funny at times and I will miss you and Caroline when I move away! 😢

I definitely recommend Dolce! The atmosphere was very friendly and calm, everyone was very kind. Terra did an absolutely fantastic job on my hair for my wedding! I’m so pleased with how it turned out😁💯 I will certainly be back😁💯

I have been purposely putting off my google review, on Tara for a while. I will confess the only reason that I haven't earlier is...let's face it...if I tell everyone how amazing she is, I worry that if I ever need to reschedule I won't be able because she will be too far booked out. Even though I live in Lex, it is so hard to find a "blonde specialist" who is truly a "blonde specialist". The dream of amazing blonde color, without brass, or that funky yellowish color blonde, or the white highlights in your hair, has come true!!! She won't keep putting blonde over your already blonde hair so your hair will grow. Again, your blonde fragile hair WILL GROW!! And the color that the salon uses... random side note, Dolce salon owner, German AKA "Italian Stallion"~~~I go in a few minutes early just to listen to him talk!! ~~ ....is so remarkable that there is no need for the "purple" shampoo or conditioner. The other highlight (pun intended) is to say goodbye to that "sit still" for the long 2 1/2 - 3 1/2hr appointment. Tara is fast!!! Is Tara more expensive than others? Yes. But only by $20-$30. While she is more pricey, I think of it as an investment. Each time she does my hair I feel absolutely gorgeous (and that is with no makeup and an old face)! Real talk: Hair is expensive. You are already going to pay between $150 and $300 for your highlighted head in Lex. What is an extra few more dollars for the perfect, long blond highlighted hair? For me, hopefully, a date!!! Lol! Tara 5 stars, Dolce salon 5 stars, and German definitely gets 5 stars.

My Brazilian blow out lasted 3 days max. Was told it lasts at least a month. Went back and was treated poorly. I did get my refund though and maybe I should give this two stars for that but I don't like the way I was treated when I went back to get my hair fixed so they get one.

The best hair salon that offers amazing hair care and beauty services. I came to have my balayage and i am very satisfied with the result. German, profesfional hairstylist did an amazing job, loved the result, the colour amazing . I got a head and neck massage as a bonus. I do highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants to get pampered and leave with a great result! ❤️❤️❤️

Very Dissatisfied with my experience. I went to Lexington and was out of town for the weekend. I called around to a couple hair salons to see if there were any last minute openings although I only ever let people I know and trust do my hair. I thought it can’t turn out that bad, especially if they’re an aveda selling company. It was really bad guys. I’m so disappointed in the way my hair turned out. I was at a wedding all weekend and I couldn’t take pictures it was so bad. This is 3 days after I got my hair dyed and highlighted. The highlights did not go down to the roots, you can see the brown from my previous hair color, there were spots throughout my hair that were missed when it was dyed and the highlights were all different shades (of brassy yellow). I have long hair and I was expecting a bigger bill but NOT $365. Furthermore, I had to go somewhere else to get a color correction and hair toning and I called to get a refund to reconcile the situation but NEVER received a call back. I am so upset at both the cost I had to pay and customer service (or lack thereof) I experienced. Read all previous reviews- I should have! Many times the client says their hair has to be “fixed.” Please be wary!

We took our grandson for his haircut. It was our first visit here but our daughter and grandson are " Regulars". The salon was very nice and the Stylist and Receptionist were very nice and the cut was affordable and very good 👍

Bonnie did am awesome job . I've never had my hair professionally done . I've always used boxed hair color .I had a fire red in the bottom half so it wasn't an easy task . She worked on my hair for 6 hours past closing time just to make sure I was happy !!! Absolutely recommend dolce

Had a bit of an emergency with my extensions falling out while visiting from out of town, I called and asked if they could help reattach them and Tara got me in quickly and fixed it for me! Everyone was very kind and even though I only spent 30 minutes there I highly recommend going in for whatever you need! They were friendly, helpful, and professional! Thank you for you’re help!! :)

I had never been to this salon before, I needed to get in last minute before thanksgiving for my mother and I.. I spoke with Terra over the phone and she was glad to squeeze us both in. We arrived there and she kindly greeted us. We explained to her what we were thinking of doing and she helped us figure out the best color and cuts for our hair and maintenance level. She was absolutely amazing! Talked with us the entire time, was extremely friendly and made us both incredibly comfortable. She took her time and made sure her work was thoroughly done. She showed how passionate she is for her work. We fell in love with not only our hair but our stylist as well. Terra was such a delight and we will most definitely be back to see her. 2 completely satisfied customers here! 🖤

I showed the woman (Tara) she was rude & said I got it she cut my hair as a bob and cute my whole left side off didn’t even try to spray hairspray or anything after I paid for wash, cut & style! Literally the worst experience of my life. She was the rudes woman I’ve ever met & I honestly think she just did it on purpose cause she wouldn’t even speak to me the entire process. Also I had an appointment at 10am then they said I didn’t I waited til 12 just for this to happen!

Please consider, I did not get my hair done. My review is not based on quality of service. I just arrived in Lexington, and wanted to talk to someone passionate about hair because my hair is delicate. As I approached the shop, a woman came out and confronted ME, asking if I needed help. I told her I was not there for a haircut. I just wanted to talk to someone about my hair. As we continued talking, she kept insisting that she had no openings today. She was not listening to me. I was not there for hair service. I just wanted to create a relationship. I said I would wait to talk to someone. This woman just kept saying there were no openings. I was not being heard. She proceeded to ask what MY problem was, and asked if I lived nearby. Then she made a judgment about me. Just WOW. I'm sure the folks at Dolce are great at what they do, but based on the way I was treated, I will never go near that place again.

She did great on my hair. Also, she was very intelligent. But she was rude. She did other things to my hair to fix it which made it cost more. But she didn't tell me what she was doing. I didn't know until I checked out that my bills was more then I told it was going to be.

This is the second time that Tara has cut my hair. This time around she cut and colored my hair and she did an amazing job! She is extremely knowledgeable and knows what looks good on your face shape. I trusted her recommendation and I wasn’t disappointed. I’m flying out from California in November just to have Tera cut and color my hair again. I highly recommend Tera for your next cut and color!

I’ve been going to Dolce for over a year now. Both Terra and Jacqueline have taken excellent care of me. They are both very kind, attentive and go out of their way to address my concerns to get my hair just the way I want it. I do have Indian hair and it isn’t the easiest to highlight. Jacqueline has touched up my roots and cut my hair. Both times it was exactly what I had in mind. She is very professional and took her time. Terra has taken care of my highlights and balayage. The one word I can use to describe her artistic talent is jaw dropping! If I could, I’d see her every day! I walk out of the salon feeling like a hair model. It’s amazing what an experienced professional can do with your hair and what impact that can have on your confidence. Both ladies are kind and make sure I am comfortable and are ready to provide me with a refreshment. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.

Terra is an amazing professional and her experience is evident from the very beginning of the appointment. She was very courteous and kind. She genuinely took the time to listen to what style I was after and executed it flawlessly. I really appreciate her attention to detail and time she spent- my haircut was not an easy one but I am thrilled with the results. Looking forward to working with her again in the near future: I cannot thank her enough. It should also be noted that Dolce is a wonderful salon, personable, and held to a high standard. I've enjoyed every one of my experiences there~
