I had an amazing experience at Dolce Vita. Ashley was my stylist and she did a phenomenal job with my short hair. Sometimes the hard part is difficult for stylists to do correctly but Ashley’s came out clean and crisp! I definitely recommend her.

I just wanted to let everyone know that this salon and their stylists are amazing! As a woman of color, I’m very hesitant to get my hair done by someone new but I was pleasantly surprised by how beautifully they did my hair. My hair was not the only thing that was luxurious either! salon feels so high-end and fancy, I thoroughly enjoyed treating myself to some well needed self-care here. The stylists are so kind and talented to any and all who come through their doors! Would definitely recommend to all my family and friends.

I am a first time client who was serviced by Allison on New Years Day for an all over color and cut. I am a full time teacher, a "mature one", with all gray roots and was canceled last minute by another stylist the Friday before the holiday. My experience was MORE than I could have hoped for, and I am very pleased. We talked alot, both of us, about what I was looking to have done, bangs and layers, actually, and the style and color are both most flattering. I have received many compliments at school, and been asked where it was done. I paid a fair price, included a gratuity, and left feeling like I had a new friend, as well as an experienced, talented stylist .I booked another appointment within the next 3 weeks, as a matter of fact, just to keep the "new do" fresh and fabulous. Let me start this out by saying I never write bad reviews without first trying to give the business an opportunity to rectify the situation. I came to the salon as a first timer to be cut by Allison. I wanted a drastic change and asked for bangs and short hair. There was a long conversation persuading me out of my decision which I’ll admit I was nervous from the beginning but she made me feel as though at 27 I was too old to ever grow those bangs out (I’ve since seen another stylist elsewhere and she was appalled as this is something applicable to much older women). So instead, sticking with my drastic change mindset, asked for 5in to be cut. She said “we can start with a little and go from there”. Leading me to believe we would cut until I thought enough was taken off. The appointment was over an hour because there was so much talking. I normally don’t mind because it’s more personable however I do mind when she cuts off how much SHE wants then rushes me out of the chair because she has another client. I didn’t like the way it was laying and we mentioned adding layers but she wouldn’t do that nor would she cut more off. She instead gave me the cut she wanted to give then proceeded to charge me SIXTY FIVE DOLLARS for a DRY cut. No wash. No styling. Just .000001 of an inch off barely making a change to what I already had. So the next day I texted her letting her know respectfully that I wasn’t happy. She then sent me paragraphs gaslighting me - making me feel like I didn’t ask her for the cut that I did, that I was the one talking so much, and that she “saved me” from bangs. When I responded she told me I was disrupting her day and making her fall behind again. The conversation got heated so I eventually apologized and she agreed to give me the cut that I actually paid such a high price for and didn’t get. We arranged a possible date and she never spoke to me again. So THAT is why I’m leaving this review. Not out of vengeance, just to maybe save someone else from paying an exorbitant amount of money for a low effort service.

Went to Dolce Vita Salon, following my hair stylist Raven. The atmosphere is beautiful and Raven’s work is second to none! She’s a true artist with color and cut.

I drive from Arizona once a year to get my hair cut & styled by Candace Hicks. Her finger are magic. Even though I don't do color anymore I've seen her other clients on Instagram. Her talents are extraordinary. Call early because she books out!

I haven’t been to a professional in YEARS! And I decided it was time for a change and I got referred to Kai by a close family member and although I was a bit scared, she reassured me multiple times and made me feel safe and was super sweet and friendly and the end results of my hair was amazing! I went from black to a nice blended “blonde” balayage and it’s all thanks to her! She is the bomb!

Candace at Dolce Vita Salon is the hair dresser you want no matter the condition of your hair. She has taken care of my hair for over 5 years. My hair has had its ups and downs. She's gotten me through all of them. She's that good!!
