I’m so happy to have found Doll Heads Salon! Jill has worked serious magic on my hair and given me the some of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. Also I love how bright and colorful this place is- such positive vibes! And they even have an adorable pup here.

The owner of Doll Heads has cut my hair 3 times. All three cuts were fantastic. I kept going back hoping she'd be less hostile, not just to me but other customers and her own stylists. Sadly she was never able to filter her gratuitous contempt. I won't be back.

I’ve been to Doll Heads several times and they are the best! Super friendly and cozy environment. There’s even a shop pup! Marcella is a kind person and does a great job with my hair. They really make sure I’m happy when I leave and ask how the haircut worked out so the next cut is even better. Thank you!

I got my hair dyed by blue. She was amazing! She made me feel comfortable and she was extremely patient. She gave me exactly what I wanted! I'm so happy with my hair. I will definitely be coming back

Such a feel good vibe all around! Everyone seems so happy and full of energy. Plus, the artistry that these stylists display is phenomenal! Pricing isn't horrible for the services vs other places in Chicago. 10/10 & Special shout out to Jaas the color queen! 🖤

I get my hair done by Maria and she absolutely amazing on what she does and her as a person itself. You can trust her with anything and she’ll understand you fully on what you’re wanting. Everyone there is very welcoming and nice. They offer snacks and drinks and it is a great environment to be in. Also the place is beautiful! Would 100% recommend. everyone there will make you feel at home.

I've been coming here for a few years and mainly see Jaas for my hair cooor and haircuts but I have also gone to Marcella and I go to Blue for keratin treatments. I love this salon! Everyone is so kind and talented and it's also affordable. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience! From the front door I knew this place would rock, with the Pride flag and beautiful artwork it was so inviting! My stylist listened to what I wanted and made sure it was perfect. Thank you!!

Literally amazing!! Ive always struggled with my thick hair and finding the right salon/stylist and Jaas did an aamzing job literally went by so quick it is exactly like the pic i showed too.. like copy paste omfg! Love the smell of the shampoo they use too

Got my haircut here a while ago and they totally messed up my curls. The hairdresser used thinning shears and left me a frizzy uneven mess. I left a negative review after my haircut and it looks like it was deleted…so shady

I had a great first-time experience at Doll Heads! Shelly is great vibes and worked efficiently and expertly to give my locks some fresh life! She made sure I felt comfortable with the length she recommended to take off before she started cutting. <3 love to see a woman owned, and inclusive, business thriving! Rescue is the real star of the show, escorting me to and guarding me at the shampoo bowl!

Marcella is the best! The stylists do creative work here and it's a great place to go if you're looking for bold color done well. They use vegan products and their hair treatments leave your hair looking easily twice as healthy as it looked when you went in. My hair has stayed soft and manageable between visits. Plus, it's a very LGBTQIA+ positive salon which is great to see.

marcella is a top notch stylist. she is always so bubbly and happy every time you walk in there she is the first to greet you! she is a perfectionist and is always so clear with how much you will be paying for your services. i am now addicted to hair extensions & i wont be going to anyone else! highly recommend her for any services.

I have definitely found my new go-to salon. Booking an appointment online is super easy, the prices were beyond reasonable ($35 for a wash, cut, and dry in Chicago?!?!), and the experience was fantastic. Give them a try!
