First time I’ve ever spent over $400 on hair for my daughter and I. Ridiculously overpriced and my hair dye was washing off shortly after. I will never go back here again. If you want to be ripped off then this is the place for you.

Absolutely love how my hair came out. Airam did such an amazing job with this blowout. She took her time with my hair to explain all the products and steps I should use when it comes to my curls. She made my experience a memorable one, felt like I was back at home with my family. I'm truly grateful to her for beautifying me for my ball tomorrow 💕 I'll definitely be coming back !!!

I hate to give you a bad review. But here is why: You were usually quick to answer my questions for the most part, and this is before I actually scheduled the appointment with you. When I arrived, you were 15 minutes late with no apology or excuse, but I didn’t mind. I explained to you my biggest concern and my biggest fear is that I did not want my curl pattern to change. I even explained to you the reason I stopped going to professionals is because I was tired of women damaging my natural curl pattern after years of being natural. I was very concerned that my hair would not revert back to curls after you did my blowout service. You assured me multiple times that my curls would return with no problem. You took hours to explain the process of what you were doing. You explained to me why heat is good for my hair, and how it would not damage my hair. You did an amazing job with my Blowout and did an amazing job with my trim -is what I thought before I washed my hair. I must say you were incredibly heavy-handed with combing my hair, but I didn’t complain because I’m not tenderheaded. You also pulled a lot of my hair out with the comb as you were combing through it, and I listened to you as you explained how that was good for my hair and how you were not actually ripping out hair, although I no longer believe that to be the case. If I did not care about my curl pattern at all, I would give you four stars. But as I feared, my hair did not revert back to its beautiful and soft ringlet curls as you promised. My hair is also a lot more incredibly thinner than it once was considering how much hair was ripped out as you were coming through it with a heavy hand. So I paid over $200 for you to ruin my curl pattern, and I am devastated. To add insult to injury, when I sent you a message explaining how my curls did not revert back as you promised, you didn’t even give me the courtesy of responding to my message. Service like this that is why many women in the Black community do not always trust going to Dominican hair salons. I put my complete trust and faith in you as a professional, and I have once again been let down. After everything you explained to me about how Black women damage their hair with wigs and weaves, this is exactly why, because when we do put our trust in professionals to do our hair, we are consistently let down and lied to.

So I was a walk in, I paid $170 for a regular blowout😒 As stated, I don’t mind paying money for a good hair service. I asked her if she could feather my curls…when she started she had NO idea on what she was doing. I woke up the next day and my hair was like a birds nest. I was gonna go back and complain but i wouldn’t even want her back in my head again so I took the loss. Save your money and go somewhere else

Best experience EVER! I walked in with my hair matted down after sleeping on it for 3 days after having braids with lots of gel! Hair was just so nappy & untrained! I got a full treatment with a wash , dry, and my ends clipped! I've never in life seen my curls so defined and a comb go straight through my hair after a wash! Now my hair is so manageable I can do so many styles like slick & high ponytails without a problem! And will continue to come at least once or twice a month!!

The blowout looks good (as it should), but it is way overpriced. I paid $190 total, including blowout (145) + hair cut (35) + fee for using a card (10).

10000/10 I have no perm in my hair , he works with natural hair and I been coming to her for a while ever since my hair short length and she amazing!!!she educated you on how your hair and very sweet!!!!

The owner was amazing educated me on my hair and how to properly care for my hair. From the time I went in and left the service was amazing. Also, for those new to the area this is a real Dominican hair salon. The owner is very knowledgeable and cares about you and your hair she gives you individualized attention and I loved that. 100 percent recommend!

Ariam is amazing! She did my hair in a good amount of time and she was very nice to me. Even though she's originally from the Dominican Republic, she speaks perfect English, which is helpful since I only speak English. Javier is also really nice and spoke to me in the salon and we had a good conversation. They both made me feel very welcome. You'll have a good experience at this salon.

I found thos shop off Google some weeks ago and what an incredible experience. The owners are husband and wide and both are very friendly. I have never had so many treatments done on my hair at one time and Airam explained everything she was doing. What an amazing experience. The service was second to none!!

The stylist Airam was super sweet & knowledgeable! She took her time to explain everything she was doing & why. I felt like she really listened to my requests regarding my hair. You can tell she really cares about what she’s doing. My hair hasn’t felt this healthy in years. Definitely will be returning!

I been here awhile ago but I never forgot how I felt after my blow out experience. I was quoted one price for the blow out, until one lady washed and attempt to blow dry my hair stated "pelo, pelo, you have so much hair"! Referring to my thick, dense, long natural hair. She then quoted a higher price because "I have so much hair" then was passed off to another hair person who to finish blow drying and blow out my hair. She also complained about how "thick my hair was and ask do I get perms? I said "no" I am natural, which I thought it was obvious. Then she left my hair and spoke with the owner in Spanish, came back over to me and quoted a higher price (price kept rising because of my hair thickness and length) The owner came over, did not greet me, begin blowing out my hair on a very high heat setting and yanking my hair with the styling tool. I touch my ends and it felt so hot to touch! I ask if she had to use such high heat, for I was concerned about scorching my ends..."she shouted with rudeness, " Look I have to do this to get your hair straight! I know what I'm doing! I was appalled by her demeanor towards me, as if she was angry at me on a "personal" level. I kept my composure and explained that I was only concerned about the health of my hair, and if she would just explain the process since this is my first blow out and I been passes around three times. She toned down the rudeness and explained what she was doing to my hair. After it was all done, my hair came out beautiful, but I was charged a hefty price. The owner and others seemed annoyed that I had a lot of hair, and she said to me "you need to consider getting a relaxer! you can just get on every three months to help manage the thickness! With such rudeness. I never forgot how I was treated there, it was not a good experience for me.

I have been coming for about 4 years now! Everytime I come I am given so much knowledge and information about my hair and how I can learn to treat and care for my hair at home! I leave feeling like a brand new person! 10/10 Highly recommend!

If you are natural and African American I suggest you go to your own. My natural curl pattern has not been the same since. I've blown my own hair out before and my curl pattern always returns. Some of my hair is straight! I am highly upset. I also believe some kind of chemical was put in my hair and absolutely too much heat. This is not for 4c hair type!!!

Never even got past the front of the salon. Lady opens the door and just barely lets me in just to rudely tell me no kids allowed in there. I had my 5 year old with me so I tried to immediately leave to not cause any awareness of the situation in her mind. She couldn’t even say a simple welcome to my salon. I don’t know if it’s a race thing or what but I’m 100% displeased and I’m glad she never touched my head….

Omgggg I can’t say enough about this salon!! When I tell you it’s amazing I mean just that. I have been coming here since 2019 and have been satisfied each time. What I love about Airam she is very knowledgeable and designs each treatment specifically for each individual person. For example, my first visit I wanted something that would moisturize and hydrate my natural hair and help with my curls. She tailored to that and prepared on the spot a hair smoothie that did just that. 2 years later I needed something to help with my scalp because even the dermatologist couldn’t figure out what would help with my chronic scalp condition and so I knew if I came to Airam she was gonna know, so she tailored a whole different method and organic stuff in a bowl and even told me what to do at home to keep the psoriasis, eczema, and dandruff buildup pretty much non existent. As far as the price I think of it like this, you get what you pay for and it is definitely worth it. She has the knowledge, the experience and very much a people person. If you are debating, DONT, just do it!!! I’m telling you that you will truly enjoy the experience. Thank you Airam for all the relief you have provided me over the years!!

Today was my first time at this salon. to say the customer service was amazing would be an understatement. Airam was extremely knowledgeable and educated me on how to keep my hair healthy. I had a color service and trim, I am very content.
