So the worker put some type of perm in my hair at the shampoo bowl with out my consent. The back of my hair and the side do not curl at all. I went back to nj to my regular hair dresser and she confirmed this. I don't even understand how you think this is okay or ethical. You should be shut down. I read a post about another lady that had this happen and now I can believe that this happened. I will report this salon and I advise any person of color with unpermed hair should not go here. They do not care

This is the best Dominican salons in Greensboro. They take excellent care of your hair. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

Walked in on a Saturday was out in less than two hours. I have really think course hair, they did a great job!

Love this salon .. my daughter comes to get her hair done and we are always pleased with how they take care of her. Her hair is always Beautiful, and it last a good while also. The stylists are very nice and makes sure she is happy.

This shop is NOT for anyone with 4c natural hair. My experience was horrible because the wait was 2 hours just for my hair to not be throughly washed nor was my scalp scrubbed. I have thick hair therefore my hair should have been parted in sections and combed through not with a thin tooth comb but with a detangling brush/comb. She combed my hair from the root to end literally ripping my hair apart with a thin tooth comb. 4c type hair must be combed from the end to the root. She had no products such as “Aunt Jackie knot on my watch” or “Crème of nature knot away detangling” which would have allowed my hair to be properly managed. I was so uncomfortable. A real professional hair business would have been prepared and knowledgeable on how to care for my type of hair or would have told me they don’t do my type of hair. I will not be back.

This was my first time visiting Dominican Evolution Hair Salon. I was very impressed with how my hair turned out. I have been going to the Beauty School to save money but I was not happy with the way my color came out. The staff is friendly and I noticed that all of the Stylists worked together to help each other out. I was one happy customer when I left. I would definitely recommend this Salon to my friends and family.

Awesome experience the hairdressers are friendly and respectful of what your hair needs are. I have gotten my hair conditioned, dyed and blow dried and got a very reasonable not over priced at all for product and labor.

I was not going to leave a review, however, the more I think about it the more frustrated I get. I came in yesterday for a blowout. I received exactly that, they did a great job straightening my hair, I have no complaints with that. However, during the service she asked if I wanted a trim and I said yes, later I decided to get layers in the back. I regret my request. I asked for her to leave the length and she asked how many layers, I could not really articulate what I wanted so I told her to use her best judgment. She started with confidence and then she started to make mistakes, I am not an expert but she was cutting past her guide lines and left one side uneven. They started to talk amongst themselves and that confirmed it. She asked if I wanted curls, I guess to hide the mistake but I didn't want that, so I wanted to see the layers. It was botched, hair grows back, but I would have appreciated if she acknowledged the mistake and corrected it. I paid with a tip because it was hot and my hair was straight. The lady that took my payed relayed the tip given and left me at the counter. I was not thanked for my patronage which also left me frustrated after my experience. I will now have to get hair cut even. Bottomed line, stick with just a trim.

Terrible terrible long wait ! Need more workers or let people know there’s a long wait before you wash their hair , watched a girl leave and there was girls still sitting in the lobby with their hair freshly washed

The young lady really washed my hair very well. She can't style to well but she knows how to wash and flat iron really good.

I came in at 11:30 am to get a blowout and trim. 30 mins into me waiting more people came in after me to get blowouts as well. The owner knew a lady and she did not have an appointment she came in after me and she took her before me. That was very unprofessional and rude. I will not be coming back here again.

I went here to get a blowout about 3 weeks ago and they snuck perm/relaxer in my hair and my hair is completely damaged and straight. I do not recommend as my hair is now in a horrid state because they snuck relaxer in my hair. (For reference I have 4c medium thick hair)

This USE til be my favorite salon for blowouts until today ! I called December 21st to confirm that it was ok that I come today (Christmas Eve) to get a blowout for me and my daughter at 2. I was told by a lady that it was fine they close at 5pm. I get there and the man upfront was rude. Told me they closed now, I must of called a different salon, they not taking anybody else. I get it's Christmas Eve but maybe you should of had all that figured out when I did call. I won't be coming back! By the way I found someone who accepted my business and is really sweet!
