D Glennys salon took care of my hair needs professionally, caring for the safety of my hair without wanting to damage it. That showed me that Glennys and her team truly care for your hair, are very knowledgeable, and are passionate for what they do. Pricing is very reasonable as well. I recently moved here and was hospitalized, so I wanted to get my hair done to boost my spirits. I was recommended a few places, but after reading the reviews, I decided against them. During my search, I came across Glenny’s Salon. The reviews indicated that Glenny works well with all hair types, and many mentioned a comfortable atmosphere. I called on December 21st to inquire about a blowout and was told that the price starts at either $55 or $65, with variations depending on hair texture and length. My hair is shoulder-length, with a curl pattern between 4A and 4B; however, it was texturized three months ago, so my roots are curly while the ends are straight. Upon arriving, I found the atmosphere inviting. Music was playing, the salon was clean, and it’s primarily a Spanish-speaking salon, though they communicated with me in English. Everyone's energy was welcoming. During my wash with Paola, she recommended a deep conditioning treatment. Unfortunately, I wasn't prepared for that expense, but I agreed, thinking it wouldn't be too much. Afterward, Paola set my hair in rollers, and I sat under the dryer. Glenny finished blow-drying the remaining curls and flat-ironed my hair. I loved the final look; however, she insisted that I needed a trim as well. I expressed that I wanted to wait until my next visit, but she insisted it was necessary. I wasn't prepared for this either, but I ultimately agreed. She ended up cutting about three inches off my hair. Instead of just a trim, it felt more like a full haircut, which I didn’t fully process at the time. Typically, stylists inform me about what I might need during my next visit, so I would be prepared rather than insisting on immediate changes. This was my only concern with the appointment. If you’re not ready for something, don’t hesitate to speak up and be firm about your preferences. Overall, this place is great, and I highly recommend it, especially for my Black queens out there—she’ll get you right!

I visited one time and fell in love with everyone!! Even the Clients were so nice!! I am going back this week actually for a repair that I went all the way to Atlanta to get and was so disappointed! I was impressed that they are taking me two days before Christmas!!!!!! I simply love this place and the Stylists!!!!!! Beautiful women😘😘😘

My experience with Glence and Paola was speechless, Best hair Salon ever, me and my baby came in and I wanted to get my hair trim and a blowout, baby let me tell you they have some magical hands. I Love the welcoming atmosphere and great customer service that Glence and Paola had provide us. I love how my baby was crying knowing I was doing my hair everybody was helping out, I love that salon, I would recommend to anybody and they will definitely see me again and again.

100% recomendada. Glenys es la mejor. Al llegar a USA mi cabello se destrozó con el agua y el clima. Glenys con sus cortes de cabello y cepillados, recupero mi cabello. Tiene unas manos de ángel. Un buen cepillado de cepillo, estirar, rulos y plancha 🫶💇‍♀️

Bad education, when I arrived she was working on someone else when I made an appointment at 10:30. Then I told her that If she was going to be treating or doing someone’s hair at the time she shouldn’t have let me make an appointment at 10:30 she said it was a bad start and that she didn’t want to attend me because of my attitude. I don’t recommend her if she’s going to be like this. I was speaking calmly and wasn’t screaming at all.

I came from other salon that messed with my hair and Gleny’s Salon they helped my hair looks better and it’s a process but with their expertise and honesty during the process is been amazing how my hair is right now. I recommend her services.

Showed a picture of exactly what I wanted and everyone here helped to make the idea happen. The atmosphere was so warm and loving, felt like a family member. Love how they took the time to make me feel comfortable and notice the small details and help enhance these areas, that other salons would normally over look. Very friendly environment, highly recommend!

Desafortunadamente mi esposa tuvo una muy mala experiencia con Glennys, las dos únicas veces k ella fue hacerse el pelo esas dos veces la trataron poco profesional , tiene una muy mala actitud esa persona llamada Glennys, no se si ella es así con todas las muchachas o solo se lo hizo a mi esposa pero tampoco me importa porq ella jamás volverá a ese lugar. La atención al cliente es muy importante y hacer sentir a la personas cómodas también, por eso es k mi esposa no quiere volver mas.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I am so happy I found D"Glenny's salon. My husband was driving my mom and I to Orlando every two to three weeks and that got tiresome and expensive. But the great reviews brought me here and I have to say she has met all of my expectations. Professional, fast and clean and I really like that she always has hair health as a priority, she does what you ask without mistreating your hair. I live like 35 minutes away, but I don't mind taking the trip because I always leave pleased with her services. Glenny is definitely the best. I found my new salon. My hair looks amazing.

Sinceramente nunca me ha gustado cortarme el pelo con una dominicana y no es porq sea racista si no porq estas personas son prepotentes, pero cuando llegue a Jacksonville encontré a este salón y decidí darle un chance y la verdad si me gustó como ella corta el pelo, pero su actitud y poco profesionalismo me hacía sentir incómoda en ese lugar, Glennys es prepotente y sin educación solo llegue hacer dos citas con ella y jamás voy a regresar. LA ACTITUD Y EL HACER SENTIR A TUS CLIENTES CÓMODOS TAMBIÉN ES IMPORTANTE!!! 🚨🚨🚨

Amazing customer service. Very welcoming atmosphere. Accommodating to your schedule. One of the lowest in price. Since my hair is naturally curly many people do not know how to cut my hair. About 1 year ago at another salon I received one of the worst haircuts ever. My hair was so butchered. I went to Glennys and she was able to even out my hair without taking away all the length. I absolutely love her professionalism and her work. I finally found a new stylist that understands my hair. I 100% recommend D’Glennys Beauty Salon. There is also a Dominican barber there that was cutting hair and he was doing an amazing job on those guys. Just a heads up for the guys.

Great salon! From the deep soothing shampoo to the cutting/trimming and blow out! Love the welcoming atmosphere and great customer service! You can see the difference in my hair growth in the pics and also when I go back to natural hair the cut makes sure hair has a lot of body! I will continue to visit D’Glennys!!!

I have been a faithful customer for a few years now. When I went for the first time, my hair was truly damaged and breaking in the center due to over-processing. She recommended a short haircut and a cellophane treatment and even though my hair was long I trusted her expertise. My hair is long again and has never been healthier. I recommend this hair salon to anyone who wants a true professional. The staff is awesome and has become like family to me. Primera vez que visito un salón en Jacksonville. Buscaba un salón con manos dominicanas y encontré más que eso. Un servicio de mucha calidad y conocimiento. Glennys, hizo un trabajo hermosisimo con mi pelo, un copper balayage. Desde su pronta respuesta antes del servicio para la cita, su precio y su hospitalidad.
