I had a really bad experience at this Dominican hair salon. As soon as I walked in, the place was super smoky, which made it uncomfortable right off the bat. The woman who did my hair was so ROUGH – when she washed it, it felt like she was literally yanking at my scalp. I ended up with BRUISES on my head! Even though I told her it hurt and she could see I was in pain, she didn’t seem to care at all. The blow-drying was just as bad. No gentleness, no care, just super painful. Honestly, this was one of the WORST hair experiences I've had, and I won’t be coming back. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone ESPECIALLY if you have 4C hair

Amazing hard working ladies. first time i got my hair straightened in 4 years. Went to get a blowout + flat iron. loved the results. unfortunately the heat damage caused my hair to fall out like to the root, primarily in the back severely .

I walked in with out an appointment and they got me in the chair in about 20 minutes! The lady working on me made sure to scrub my scalp really good (washed my hair 4 times) since I get product build up. My scalp feels so refreshed and Im in love with this blow out 10/10 service and great pricing Im new to the area and this will be my new spot for my natural hair services. :)

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. I asked for a wash and blow dry and they put a relaxer in my hair without my consent. I’ve had healthy curly hair my entire life, I only put heat in my hair one time a year and wanted my hair done for graduation photos and am now having to go through the process of getting my curls healthy again.

I came here because of the viral TikTok video that this lady got her hair done for $45. When I walked in, it was only 1 customer and it looked like the employees were in the middle of doing their hair as well. They made sure we were taken cared of before they finished their hair. The washing process by Rosa was amazing. I have light dandruff and she made sure my scalp was super clean by washing 3 times. The whole thing took 2.5 hours which is a long time for me. I got a wash & set and straightener. My total was $55. She looked at my card and said an extra $3. This place has average prices. Nothing affordable about it. I was paying $60 at my old salon and they were faster so I’m sticking with them.

I wish I could give no stars just please don’t go to this salon I went a week ago and no going to my regular stylist today. It’s not worth it the lady did my hair rough with no structure face scrunched up the entire time and that’s how my hair came out very weird people dnt go girl.

They will make your hair be the best it has ever been; and at a great price! I have been going there for over 6 years. No waiting around for a long time either. They get to you within 5-15 minutes usually.

I've been coming here for a few years now and no complaints. No appointment needed I usually just walk in but sometimes there can be a wait so I go in the am close to when they open. Last time when I went it was 30min to closing no wait and didn't rush neither. I usually see Moraina but Rosa is good too

I usually go here from time to time . But this time , it just turned me off ! You have 2 people Under the dryer , one sitting in the chair that just got from under the dryer ... and they decided to do each other’s hair before their clients . So you mean to tell me , that couldn’t wait ! Y’all couldn’t wait until after hours to do each other’s hair ! Your clients come first . Don’t make us wait for that .. and for that reason , I will not be coming back to them ! That turned me so off and it was very tacky of Them . Done with them .

I have been coming to get a haircut at this just for Rosa.. I am the kind of client that I just want to seat down, get the haircut she knows I want and go.. It is been the same for the last 2 years. Excellent, proffesional.. That is it.

Very...very nice job! Won't be disappointed. They had my sis looking like a new person. We both have no perm and came out looking like we had a fresh perm or a laid lace front. Love it!

I want to give 3.5 but it's not an option. They were fast. I was a walk in and they took me, no problems. Price was fair. Asked for a straightening and almost got a roller set tho. Had I never received the service before I wouldn't have known to stop her. It was cold in there and never got a cape.

Well, where exactly do I begin? First, I have been going to this salon for a few years. Morena is my stylist, but Rosa has done my hair as well. They are both great ladies. I was going through my hair today, and noticed chunks of broken off hair near the crown. I decided to go to another salon just to see how the visit compared. The lady immediately pointed out several other broken off areas and revealed to me my hair is over processed. I thought it may have been due to the heat, but then they told me it's due to relaxer. I have NEVER had a relaxer at Dominican Touch - at least not to my knowledge. They told me I needed an immediate protein and conditioning treatment. I then decided to look at the reviews of Dominican Touch to find claims of relaxer being snuck in shampoos and/or conditioner with other claims of broken off hair. I never looked at the reviews after I started going here routinely BECAUSE I TRUSTED MY STYLIST AND THE SALON. My hair is in bad shape. I'm more disappointed and hurt than anything. Grant it, they will make your hair look fabulous, but your hair's health will suffer from it tremendously if your hair is tight and coily while wet. I believe the claims made about this salon is true because I am living it right now. You choose what's most important.
