Every time i come here i am NEVER disappointed. Griselda always does an outstanding job on my hair and does everything to keep it nice and healthy. She always listens to my ideas and makes great suggestions as well. My go to hair place!

I was waiting for the cold weather to come, Finally it came. I normally go to my other lady at a different location but she couldn't take me last minute. I decided to come here for a regular normal dominican blow out. The job they did was good. Hair was absolutely beautiful! However, it was at the cost for my curls. When I washed my hair to bring back my curls, I've noticed that my curls are not the same.. the roots and ends of my hair are no longer curly. I did not ask for the keratin because I know that damages your curls.. I'm really upset that this place turly damaged my hair.. I work at a hospital with nothing but women.. everyone want to know where I went because they wanted to go too.and I was sharing the location.. now they know not to go after my damaged hair and everyone noticed.. Also, at any other spot they charge me any where from $60 to $80.. this place charged my $115 to damage my hair. If you love your curls, don't come here.. All of the nurses are aware of this place too.

If you have beautiful curly hair DO NOT BOOK this salon to give you a blow out. I requested a wash and set and was charged $85 for them to COMPLETELY RUIN my curls. I went to them on 01/07/2025 I was put in a roller set and sat under the dryer for 60mins. Christina took out 2 sections to blow dry and used a flat iron on the rest of my head. No heat protection was applied & I think there was a chemical treatment done without my permission because after washing my hair a week and 5 days later my hair will not curl up the way it did before I went to this salon. I am devastated with the way my hair looks. I texted the owner to let her know about my problem and she sends me a google link saying “what happens when you blow dry curls” to validate the negligence of her employee. She then goes on to tell me about the physical pain she is in that day as I’m complaining about my hair. I will include before and after pictures of my hair for everyone to see the damage caused by this salon.

I’m so glad I stopped by this shop today. My husband and I planned a last minute date night and he wanted me to get my hair straightened for the first time since I’ve been natural for 2.5 years. We came in around 6:30 and Zola was so kind enough to stay late to do my hair. She double shampooed and conditioned it. Then patiently blow dried, straightened, and snipped the ends to my hair. My hair is bone straight and I haven’t seen it like this in nearly 3 years. Zola did such an amazing job and I would definitely recommend booking with her. This has now become my go-to spot for hair. I’ll be back and plan to book with Zola next time too, she was so nice and kind. Oh, the bonus was she did all of this within an hour!

Did a REGULAR wash and set with rollos. My hair is mid length & I was charged $90!!! Has not even been 24 hours and my hair is already frizzy. Did not see not one hair stylist use round brushes to dry hair but instead used a denman brush. They rely heavily on flat irons so if you are only wanting a blow dry with no flat iron do not bother coming. Overpriced and not worth it! I also saw another stylist using a pintail comb while applying a RELAXER on 4a/4b hair. Save yourself the headache, go elsewhere.

I am not someone who typically puts heat in my hair. After just one visit my hair is completely fried and won’t curl anymore. I’m assuming they used relaxer in my hair without my knowledge (there was a slight language barrier). My hair is practically done for and I am absolutely gutted… DO NOT GO HERE!

I booked a “Curly Hair styling” to get my natural curls washed and styled with Griselda on the Booksy site. Get there and they pass me to another hair stylist (Zoila) which I didn’t mind at all. She washes my hair and then I sit in the chair and she starts the blower to pass it over my hair. I had to remind them I did not book a “wash and blow”. The hair stylist working on my hair (Zoila) was very professional about it, did a great job, and made the service worth it. BUT if you’re going to pass me off to someone else, you should ensure you know what I booked and that you pass that information on to your stylist so she doesn’t waste her time. I asked Griselda what a “Curly hair styling” was and she said that it can be different things but didn’t specify. If that’s the case then I should have been asked what type of styling I wanted when I arrived and not assumed I wanted it to be straightened (That’s what a “wash and blow” service is for)

I came here off a recommendation from IG. I got a blow out and silk press with curls on the end and when it was time to wash my hair it did not revert back to my natural texture. I have damage throughout my hair, and some parts were completely straight with no curl at all. If you have coarse textured hair I do not recommend coming here to get your hair done

I was referred to this salon, I called and I was scheduled an appointment by their receptionist first person I spoke to had me on speaker it was very hard to hear her, I was transferred to another person who asked for my name, number I proceeded to ask if they opened on Sundays I was told yes and given a 9:30am appointment. I arrived and the door was closed I noticed the business schedule read Mon-Sat. Before leaving I called Griselda she said they do not open on Sundays and she was curious to know who scheduled the appointment. She asked if I was sent a confirmation, I said no. She said she was too far to accommodate my appointment. She was very apologetic for the misunderstanding. However, it was not enough to ease the discomfort I felt at this point. This led me to read the disturbing reviews from pricing, to damaged hair, and lack of professionalism. As a woman, hair is one of many features that define who we are. I am glad I did a little more digging before attending my next appointment date. I am so touched by those who had a bad experience. I attached a picture that shows how unprofessional she is, in neither of my messages to her did I disrespect her or her business she could’ve perhaps persuaded me with kind words and she could not even do that, it’s sad to say she is the owner.

My first time at this salon. Everyone was so kind and friendly, which made my experience more comfortable. Griselda is very educated with colors. She helped me choose a color and took care of my curly hair. If you are looking for a great Dominican Salon, this is definitely the one!

I am beyond furious with this salon. We drove 2 hours for a highlights appointment, and my daughter, a minor, showed clear examples of what she wanted. Instead, the owner arrived an hour late, did a balayage with double toner without our approval, and charged $450. At no point were we told about the additional cost or that the service was being upgraded. To make matters worse, the owner pointed out my daughter’s damaged hair, yet proceeded with bleaching and toning, further harming it. A true professional would prioritize hair health—not upsell $185 of their products. The results were disappointing and not worth the price. Influencers may get special treatment, but regular customers won’t. Save your time, money, and hair—this salon is not it. I’ve included a photo for reference. This is how we walked out. I’m livid! Lesson learned!! Ask questions be noisy!!!

If I give this salon ZERO stars I would! My neice came here and got her hair done yesterday and tbh her hair was damaged to beginning with but the stylist didn't consider the state of her hair health at all! she did a blonde bayalage treatment on already DAMAGED hair not caring about her hairs integrity ONLY money! MOST importantly the stylist did not consult with my sister prior to striping and bleaching my minor neices hair and charging 450$ for this "bayalage". The only thing free was the damage! If you want damaged hair this is the place for you!

Mi sobrina que es menor de edad y fue a este salón esperando buenos resultados. Mi hermana la esperaba en el carro para que terminaran con su hija. Cuando terminaron de hacerle el servicio, el pelo de mi sobrina termino estando en una muy mal condición. Ella fue a este salón para aclararse el pelo, pero la salónera le procesó muchísimo el pelo y ahora hasta se le está cayendo. Este lugar no tiene gente profesional que sabe de color o de la salud del cabello. No recomiendo a nadie visitar este lugar.

Dominican True Beauty Salon exceeded my expectations! I simply went in as a new customer after finding them on Instagram. I went in for a full transformation and Pamela took amazing care of me! Not only did she do a great job but she talked me through her entire process step by step to make sure we were on the same page. She was also very sweet and kind! I will be back for sure! P.S. try the coffee while you get your hair done…it’s so good 😁

Her expertise and professionalism is something that I look for because not everyone can handle your hair like a professional. The salon is super cute and the ladies were all friendly. I’ve had the most amazing experience at this hair salon. I trusted Griselda with bleaching my hair for the first time and the results exceeded my expectations!! She knew exactly what she was doing and informed me of everything that was being done on my hair. The care and attention to detail has left my hair beautiful and healthy. I am a new customer to this salon. I came for a haircut, wash, and flat iron. It took about 4 hours for my service (should’ve only took ~2 hours at most). Most of the time I was waiting extended periods of time between each step of my service while the stylist went to service other people. I asked for 2 inches of my hair to be cut, instead I had about 4 inches taken. Will not be coming back.

I am a bleached blonde that made an appointment for a "Reverse Balayage" and I showed pics of what I wanted. I asked for a shadow root with lowlights, this means adding dark roots to my long blonde hair, and dark highlights for dimension. Three things went wrong that day, and for that, I will NEVER go back to this salon again: 1) She arrived 40 minutes late to my appointment. Yes, I made an appointment, and I waited 40 minutes! I figured, "She must be good, I'm already here, I shall wait..." 2) Nope! she was NOT GOOD. My beautiful blonde hair turned out almost BLACK! 3) I literally CRIED in front of everyone. I have never in my life cried at a hair salon. I just couldn't believe my eyes of how dark my hair was, and I couldn't believe how all the hair stylists in that salon tried to convince me that my hair "looked nice" and sided with the owner. Yes, Griselda, the owner, was the one who did my hair and did a horrible job. The hair stylists in that moment ganged up against me, trying to defend the owner, "Oh sweetie, it's not that dark, if you go out to the sun, you'll see the blonde." My response while crying: "I don't work outside in the sun, nor care to hang out in the sun. I want my blonde hair to be seen in my office at work, inside my house, indoors wherever I go, not the sun! I simply asked for dark roots and some lowlights! And you should do what the CUSTOMER asks, and not what YOU think she wants!!" The heck is wrong with you ladies. Obviously, the owner is too proud and arrogant to admit she made a mistake, and her crew is too quick to defend her. Sad, very sad. If I didn't cry nor voiced my opinion of how UPSET I was, they wouldn't have done anything about it. The reason I am giving you 2 stars is bc the one hair stylist showed an ounce of compassion and said: "Pls don't cry, we'll fix your hair right now." (I didn't want Griselda to fix it, but I had no choice). So she used some eraser shampoo to take off the dark dye off my hair. To top it off, while Griselda was washing my hair, she kept saying how my crying "elevated her blood sugar" and how she's diabetic, making me feel guilty. Such a manipulative woman. End result? My hair was slightly lighter. She kept asking, "Do you like it now?" I lied and said "yes" bc I wanted to leave. Did I pay? Yes, she charged me over $400. Yikes! Did I give her a tip? Yes. I am a Christian woman who wanted to leave right away. Did I say bye? Nope! God has the final word about this place. Never again... PS: Griselda is very rough on hair, she scrapes your hair with her nails while shampooing and irritates your scalp horribly. Also, the online booking shows they do nails. I had booked for a manicure as well. But it's false advertisement. They don't do nails.

I have been a regular customer at this salon for some time, and until recently, I was happy with the services provided. However, my most recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. For every visit prior, I was consistently charged the same amount for the same service. This time, however, I was shocked to find that the price had increased by nearly 50% without any prior notice or explanation. When I inquired about the reason for the price hike, I received no clear answer. What makes this even more frustrating is that the salon doesn’t have any prices listed anywhere. It feels like the charges are arbitrarily made up based on the customer, which is an unfair and unprofessional practice. As a loyal customer, I expected transparency and consistency, not a sudden and significant price increase with no justification. If you value honesty and straightforward pricing, I would recommend looking elsewhere. It’s disappointing that a place I once trusted is now taking advantage of its customers in this way.

So I have been getting My hair blown for over 30 years. Today I had no choice but to try this salon because the one I go to is closed on Mondays. I have gotten blow dry and washed here and in NYC, PR, DR, Texas etc. I was charged 75.00 for a simple wash, a treatment that was less than five minutes and a blow dry that did not completely dry my hair- it is still damp in some spots. The lady rushed because she wanted to use the flat iron. I told her I do not use that and she gave me about 5 more minutes of service. The price is outrageous- even NyC the most I paid was 45 dollars. I think this one I will report to the better business bureau Highway robbery !!!

They were very good and nice but pricey in my opinion my hair is not long and I was charged $70 dollars with a 5 or 10 minute hair treatment/wash blow and flat iron. The treatment was $10 and the wash ,blow ,and flat iron was $65 She was done with me in less than an hour about 45 minutes I usually pay $35 to $40 elsewhere Getting your hair done like that doesn’t last long especially with this hot humid weather and rain storms. Not worth spending that much on something that will only last a week.

Espero que tomen esto como una crítica constructiva para el beneficio del salón y de muchas clientas- la plancha debe de ser opcional. Pregunten a la clienta antes de pasarla! Fue un servicio mediocre y apresurado. Pague $75 y no los valio. Las estilistas dependen de la plancha para completar su trabajo. No hubo ningún tipo de delicadeza al desenredarme el cabello. No me pusieron ningún leave-in o protector de calor- y para estilistas que pasan tanta plancha eso debería de ser un requerimiento. Después que me pasaron el blower, mal pasado, me pusieron “spray de brillo” y después me pasaron plancha y se escuchaba cuando el calor hacía efecto con el aceite y me freía el cabello!! Estilistas profesionales saben que eso no es de beneficio para el cabello. Y eso que cuando me estaba lavando le dije que me cabello es grasoso y aun así siguió metiéndole brillo con aceite. A ellas se le ve que son mujeres muy amables solo tienen que mejorar sus técnicas. Éxito en su negocio!

I have been looking for a good Dominican hair salon for years. I have always had my hair done by Dominican hair salons, NOBODY better to do this job! And I finally found the best in all of Orlando! They are so knowledgeable! And have the best of the best in products and like I say, they have magic in their hands! My hair speaks for itself! You can see how my hair tips looked when I got there in the first picture and I left soooo happy! I will not go to any other place from now on!! They are super busy but the get everyone in and out really quick. I was there for 3 hrs because I had color, cut, treatment and blow dry done, they took care of at least 20 ladies in that time, and they all left with perfect looking hair!! The best quality products, super friendly, fast service and super affordable price!! You will not regret it!!

Have been here twice, first time great, second time horrible! I believe Fefa or name like that. I call and speak with I think Yanelsi and ask for the owner to cut my hair, she confirmed my appointment with her, why when I come in they tell me she’s not going to be there that day to sit with someone else? I sit down with this lady that’s available and she cuts my hair forgets to cut my bangs, all I got was a wash ,trim, NO DRY went home with wet hair and I was charged $75 Dollars to go home and see my hair is uneven and unfinished, when with the Owner charged me $50 for the same service plus dry . A set up from the beginning Should be ashamed to be charging those prices and scamming people out their money and not even doing a good job, *****ALSO the lady had negative vibe and my hair has not grown ever since. It has been a few month .Wont ever step a foot back in there.

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that I paid 70 on a blow dry. No flat iron or curling iron was used. No hair treatment either. Just a simple wash and blow dry. My hair is thin so it’s not like I have coarse hair. I just don’t get it. A blow out never used to cost this much and I’m from Jersey I’m all about the Dominican hair salon’s because they used to be affordable. Imagine getting a cut here or actually using hot tools- how much more I would have had to pay. It’s crazy.

No tuve muy buena experiencia cuando fui hace como 3 semanas atras.hice una sita para wash and dry(lavado y secado)y solamente me dieron un shampoo, porque tenia mi cabeza limpia,la persona que me pasó el blower me cortó las puntitas del pelo y por ese trabajo me cobraron $75,00 dollares.cabeza limpia,no tratamiento y solo el corte de puntas,no creo que era trabajo para cobrarme tanto dinero y eso que yo le di su propina aparte.no quedé muy satisfecha.
