Callie has been my master craftsman hair stylist for years now. I recommend her. It is one less thing to worry about to have someone I can trust. In the past my boyfriends have commented on my hair that I should never go back to the stylist. It can trust Callie. She is always fun to talk to. I always look forward to seeing her. She has good advice.

Kalli is an incredible hairstylist and I highly recommend her! She’s been taking care of my hair since I moved to Portland about 6 years ago. When I box-dyed my hair black she fixed it into a gorgeous blonde balayage within just a couple sessions. When I started a new position working with executives she recommended a medium bob that perfectly fit the professional theme I was going for. Just recently I’ve been growing my hair out and wanted to go back to a darker shade, and her recommendations on color, cut, and style for my hair were exactly what I hoped for. I’ve trusted her expertise each visit and have been extremely satisfied every single time. I’ve never had fun getting my hair cut/done until I met Kalli. She’s a talented stylist, a wonderful human being, and worth every penny! Thank you Kalli! ❤️

I absolutely love Kalli! I have been going to her as a stylist for 2 years now and she gives me the best haircuts I've had my whole life. Kalli has a deep understanding of my hair type and has offered wonderful ways to style and cut it when I don't know what to do. I was recommended Kalli by another friend and now whenever some needs a hair cut I say Kalli is the person! A dream to work with and I go back as often as I can/need to.

I’m moving out of the city this month, and I’m so sad I won’t be able to continue seeing Kalli!! I started seeing her for haircuts in 2021. My first haircut with her was my first in YEARS and I had so much hair to deal with as I wanted a big chop but she was super kind and comforting through the process! Over the years as I continued to visit her for cuts she was helpful in letting me know how a style would work curly or straight, and she was also happy to help me experiment between different appointments. Because of her I learned how to properly tame my frizzy wavy hair into cute sleek curls with even less daily maintenance effort than I had put into my hair previously. She’s also just a super kind and fun person and I’ll miss getting to see her! I’ve been going to Dosha salons (3 different ones in the PDX area) for about 8 years and I had several different stylists before Kalli. The experience at Dosha is always nice, with great and friendly front desk folks and stylists at all locations. It’s also always easy to book an appointment or make modifications if needed! But Kalli was the one stylist I stuck with the longest because she was just so great, I’ll miss her! But if you are looking for a new stylist I couldn’t recommend anyone more than her!!

Dishonest from top to bottom. General manager (Jen) previous manager at Starbucks, knows nothing about the beauty business. Hairdressers take advantage and run right over customers. I never thought I would be the victim of a “spite” haircut. However, Doza made it clear she thought I was unimportant and didn’t want to make time in her stacked day to do a decent job. Trashed my hair to the point where it to six months to grow out. Notice most of the good reviews are from “people” who have only written one or two reviews ever. Most likely fake.

I see Kalli at this location and let me just say, she’s amazing! My hair has never looked better. I have really thin hair and Kallie manages to recommend styles that make it look much thicker and full of body. I’ve been seeing Kallie for years and she is professional, wonderful at recommendations, and so much fun to talk to! If you go to Dosha on Hawthorne I highly recommend choosing Kalli for your hair related needs.

Kalli is simply the best! Dry cuts and balayage hair color - book Kalli, she does it all with a great sense of humor and charm. Been going to Kalli for over 10 years - came for the Dosha product, and stayed as a VIP because of Kalli. You wont be disappointed, 10/10 recommend Kalli P.

Question. What kind of hair is best? That’s a ridiculous question. False. Curly Hair. That’s debatable. There are basically two schools of thought… Fact. Kalli cuts the best curly hair. Hawthorne. Hipsters. Hair cuts at Dosha with Kalli. What’s going on here?! I just moved back to the PNW after almost seven of the longest years. The reasons are irrelevant. However, this means that I can once again regularly sit in Kalli’s chair so that my hair can return to its best self. Yes, she has moved from Dosha on 5th to Dosha Hawthorne, but that just means the people watching is far superior, and two words: hipster dogs! I yelped it before and I’ll google rate it now—Kalli is hands down the best stylist there is. And I would know, because I’ve been across the country and no one, NO ONE, cuts hair like she does. Plus she’s a hoot to hang out and chat with. So if you’re looking for a great stylist (textured and curly hair specialist!) make an appointment with Kalli. When you’re done grab a beer and a bite somewhere on Hawthorne. Might as well take advantage of the parking spot you snagged anyway.

Hawthorne is a beautiful location with friendly people. I’ve been getting my hair done with Kalli for almost 15 years at various dosha locations. I keep following her around as I can’t imagine anyone else touching my hair. I’m always satisfied and feel rejuvenated after seeing Kalli. Kalli is brilliant with hair, kind and hilarious. I highly recommend!

I get my hair done by Kalli - I started going to her about a year ago at the downtown location before it closed - and she is so good that I followed her to the Hawthorne location! She is diligent and asks all the right questions to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. She works quickly and efficiently. She is also a lot of fun to talk to, so it makes the appointment go by even faster! Great hair and great conversation — make your appointment with Kalli, you won’t be disappointed! 😊

I have been seeing Kalli for a few years now—used to see her at the location downtown but have happily followed her to the Hawthorne location given her skill and expertise. Have never had a bad cut with her, and she is receptive to feedback/adjustments/tailoring the cut for my hair texture and mood (lol) Highly recommend her to any and all!

I highly recommend Kali, especially if you have thick hair. It took me forever to find someone who could cut thicker hair without all the thinning and overzealous layers. Her color is always amazing and spot on. And she will always be honest if somethings not going to work for you. For me, every few years, I start to think I want bangs, and she always tells me, uhm, no, we aren't doing that. She's saved me from multiple bad hair decisions.

Kali has been cutting my hair for more than 10 years, originally at another Dosha location - I came for the for the masters cuts and colors, but I stayed for the personal care and investment she's shown over the years. She's always thinking ahead about my lifestyle, how my hair grows out and what I'll be happy with in between visits. I'd follow her across state lines, let alone across town!

Kalli has been cutting my hair for over 10 years. I trust her completely to make my sometimes unmanageable hair look its best. She is thorough and thoughtful and a really kind person.
