Let’s start with the negatives—there were none! I arrived with severely damaged ends and felt quite insecure about my hair, which I had neglected for a year. However, I felt a sense of relief when Yuya acknowledged my concerns and promptly offered advice on how to improve my hair moving forward. At no point did I feel judged. He was straightforward about how much length needed to be trimmed, and I instantly felt comfortable with his recommendations. I will certainly be returning! The salon is exceptionally nice and clean, with a relaxing atmosphere that isn't overwhelming at all. As I observed others getting their hair done, everyone looked stunning. They truly understand hair here!

Amazing haircut experience from beginning to end!! I have been living in West LA since 2002 and this is truly the best haircut I’ve gotten. My haircut was done with so much care and attention! Will be coming back for color and future cuts.

On Saturday I have had a haircut with Yasuko and I absolutely loved it. She gave me the cutest short haircut just like I wanted. She is a.master of her craft.

Yuya cut my hair and he's an absolute artist. They were very kind and accommodating. Made sure I was satisfied with the hair cut. And the hair cut includes shampoo and blowout.

I reserved an online shampoo/blow dry appt with Yasuko and added some notes. When I walked in, she was ready to start and she even brought up my online comments to discuss. I needed my hair styled for a photoshoot, involving a long drive and hot weather. Yasuko has a cheerful and calming personality, and took the time to walk me through what she was doing. She also carefully went through each section of my hair to make sure it was curled. At the end of the day, my hair looked amazing and I’m so glad I booked my appointment with Yasuko!

This review is the first I have ever written, but I cannot say enough good things about double hair! My fiance and I have been coming here since we moved to LA, and we recommend them to all our friends. Everyone here is punctual, friendly, easy to book, and affirming. The studio is quiet; parking is easy; it's super relaxing. Yoshi and Yasuko are so detail-oriented and precise with their cuts. Yoshi is the only person my fiance trusts with his long hair because the cuts are always so flattering. Yasuko has done my cuts and color, and she is AMAZING. She gives me great advice and helps steer me in the right direction with new cuts. Even though we moved from this part of town, we will be coming back to double!!

Double hair salon is a really great place to go to get your haircut. The staff there is the best in town. One way to make sure you get the haircut you like is to bring in a picture of what you would like your hair to look like and then they’re very good at matching the picture. They also speak other languages if you happen to speak Chinese or Japanese. So, I recommend making a reservation and going in there and they’re gonna treat you like family. Let the falcon fly!

I had my hair cut with Yasuko who was amazing - super friendly, tailored my references to my hair type, face shape & styling habits, and took the time to teach me how to style my new hair. The space was really clean and quiet with plenty of parking in the plaza. Will definitely be back!

This salon opened up in June, and I decided to give it a try right before the closure. I had an amazing experience and was totally blown away with the results. Chiaki, one of the owners cut and permed my hair, and she delivered above and beyond my expectation. Extremely meticulous, thoughtful, and was so friendly! I’ll be coming back for sure!

I was at Salon on Barrington not at double hair salon. Salon on Barrington is absolutely first class. Besides following the rules of covid Chris the boss is one of the best hairdresser I have had. Go to Salon on Barrington.
