I love this place. I was not sure of the quality of massage or really what I would get before I got there, but they are literally next-door. We are in Neighbors. I really needed a massage, and I hadn’t had one in about seven years. So, I stepped in. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they are one of the best massages that I’ve had in Albuquerque. I am very particular with my massages, and I don’t like light massages. Or…where masseuses hold their hands over your body because they had some odd aura training. I don’t care for that either. In fact—I hate it. I need someone to take knots out of my body when I go in. We train dance and do a number of other physical activities as well. I like and need deeper massages. You can get them here. And… it’s the first place that I actually bought a VIP card for multiple sessions. I’m happy with it and I will be back later this month.

Amazing. I came in for a 30 min foot massage and stayed for an additional 30 min back massage. I have neck tension and back pain from being so sedentary from a high stress desk job. This was awesome. Its not a Spa - so don’t come in with those expectations but for relaxation this is 100% amazing.

My fiancé treated us to a 90 min combo feet and full body couples massage. The experience was so incredible!! Our bodies feel so relaxed and got total muscle tension relief! We both work 12 hour shifts on our feet and we strongly recommend this parlor for therapists’ technique, professionalism and relaxing environment. Worth every penny!

Wonderful couples massage. The man that worked on me seemed to know where I needed help the most. Nice deep massage. Was a little turned off that they asked for a tip after. We had already left one, but find it to be discourteous to ask for one.

I love going to Downtown Massage for excellent, affordable, deep pressure massages. They are thorough, efficient, and respectful! I’ve been in several times and brought my parents in when they were traveling through and they loved their experience. I’ll be back!

My massage was amazing!! The guy was very strong and effective. However they were very weird at the end when I paid, Saying I did not tip enough. Pressure me to tip more. It definitely was worth a 20% tip, however they were very strange about it and I was confused by what they were getting at. It's too bad. I was looking forward to going back for more reasonably priced amazing massages, but not if they're gonna be weird like that with me. A tip is NOT required. If they want more money for the masseuses they should just charge for the massage up front... Rather than making everybody uncomfortable. Won't recommend to anyone.

Read good reviews on their massages. Called and asked to come in. They said they could get me in at 1:30 (or a few mins after). I arrived at 1:35 (via Uber) and they said it would be 20 min. Unfortunately had to Uber back to airport. I completely understand they were booked up but wish they had better communicated that before I wasted money on two Ubers.

This was my first ever massage, and I can’t believe I’ve been missing out! I booked the 90 minute pamper yourself special online, which is 45 minutes foot/head and neck massage, 45 minutes body massage. The booking process online was super easy. The platform they use isn’t the best at integration, but on their end it’s amazing. I originally booked a 6pm massage at 3:30pm the same day. I got a confirmation text and got ready to go. I got a call around 4:30 by an extremely kind worker there profusely apologizing but someone was starting a 90 minute massage at 5, so could I come at 6:30? This is in no way a reflection of the business, and I really appreciated the communication from them. I got there and was greeted by the front desk person, who got me all checked in. They walked me around to a semi private area that had like low to the ground massage tables and was told to take off my shoes. Immediately they brought me a large bucket of hot water to start soaking my feet in. I just want to point out that the bucket had like a sanitary plastic wrap in it that they throw away in between each customer. Before they had me put my feet in they had me check the water temp. It was PERFECT!! My massage therapist named Sunny came over after a couple minutes of soaking my feet and asked me what I wanted to focus on and what level of pressure I wanted. (I’m a baby so I chose medium.) He had me lay back and covered my body (I am still in my street clothes at this point), with towels. He then got to work on massaging my head, neck, and arms. After my feet had soaked he massaged my feet and legs. He was always checking in and I appreciated that a lot. After the first 45 minutes of my session was over I was lead back to a private room with a massage table and a cubby to put my belongings. He told me to undress and stepped out. I asked how far to undress and he very politely said “everything”, and stepped out. Me being a dummy and at my first massage I only removed my shirt and shorts. I got a little braver and unclasped my bra too lol. After a couple minutes he knocked to see if I was ready. He came in and I told him I had left my underwear on and he didn’t look down on me one bit. I was completely covered with a light blanket during this part with the oil except in the areas he was actively working on. He worked around my nervousness to completely undress and made me feel SO at ease! The ambiance of the building was so nice with music and some dark red lights. At the end when I got dressed I wasn’t pressured to tip at all, which I’ve seen people been pressed to do in reviews of OTHER establishments. I will be going back as much as possible. I feel so relaxed and like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. If you are going for your first massage and are nervous, I SINCERELY recommend this place. With I could give it more than five stars.

Can't beat the price! We are visiting from CA and had been sitting on the bus for a long time so we randomly stopped by. We had the couples massage and the therapists were good. However the only thing that sucked a lot was that one of the therapists kept getting up to go answer the phone and call back clients while using one hand to kind of massage my partner. They were literally answering calls while massing us and it threw off the calm ambiance. But the massages were good and we still left the spot feeling realigned just not exactly a relaxing time 100%. Would still go back knowing this because the price is so good.

Coco and her partner I’m sorry I don’t remember his name , were very nice and took care of mine and my husbands couple massage for us today. The most relaxing massage we have ever had. You will leave feeling so relaxed , won’t remember how to get back to your hotel ! 😂 We may be coming back before heading back home. Thank you both again for a wonderful massage !

I stopped in on a whim with a sore back and Sunny proceeded to give me the best massage I've ever had. I tend to be pretty prissy about spas and pay through the nose at places like Ten Thousand Waves, but Sunny's massage was the best I've had in years...maybe ever. You have to give it a try. No turning back.
