Hands down, the best head spa in town! The experience was absolutely blissful—every detail is thoughtfully curated to make you feel relaxed and pampered. The scalp massage alone is worth raving about, and the ambiance is so calming. Part of me wants to keep this gem a secret, but they truly deserve the praise. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and indulge, this is it! Thanks Ann

*** Edit 11/21: I don't usually edit reviews, but I feel I have to revise my scoring due to the absolutely terrible system to make appointments. The website is hard to navigate and get a full understanding of what is included in each service. The providers are not identified by name but some obscure code. When I finally got someone to answer the phone (actually got a person on the phone after 2 attempts), I was told I had to call and book by phone to get a particular person. Which ok fine, but then calling results in repeated calls that connect and then are hung up from their end. When I mentioned it the first time, I was told it was "an issue" with their phone system. But I have tried to call 14 times today and have never actually gotten someone to say hello or anything even when the call was clearly connected. I wouldn't keep trying, but this is the only place I have found in the area that does true hard gel manicures and not just builder gel. Amy did a great job, but their appointment booking system needs major improvements! From 11/1: I needed a local place for getting my hard gel done. I had a great refill and awesome nebula design done with Amy. Glad to find a place to get my nails done in Austin.

Updating my review! The manager was patient and understanding. She apologized for the experience I had and provided a credit towards future services. I used my credit to try their scalp massage and facial. Very happy with my experience. Y’all, I really love Dream Spa for services like facials, massages, and full sets. I have only had great experiences there up until now. A few days ago, I purchased the Spring Beauty package. My pedi was done first, and within the first 5 minutes, the tech cut my toe skin and it was bleeding into the water. The tech apologized and applied pressure, then continued with the pedi. Unfortunately, it kept hurting through the rest of my services that were supposed to be relaxing. I went back to Dream Spa the next day because my toe was hurting even more and hurt to walk or put tennis shoes on. The staff was apologetic, put Neosporin on the cut, and said it would heal in a few days. No refund, no discount, no credit. Today, I woke up to yellow puss coming out of the cut and it hurts even more!!! Yikes. So sad that my go-to spot was this negligent. Maybe go somewhere else for work on your feet.

I came here for the heavenly head spa treatment and it was fantastic. I feel incredibly relaxed. The spa has a wonderful atmosphere and everyone i interacted with made me feel comfortable and welcome. It was also incredibly affordable. I don't go to spas often, but I will definitely be coming back!

If you are wanting designs on your nails GO TO DREAM SPA! My roommate discovered them on Instagram and saw the nail art designs they could do. She suggested we go here for our Halloween nails (we were planning to get very very intricate artwork done) and they came out FABULOUS! We have continued to have our nails done here for a year now and from simple single colors to nail art, you could say... they NAIL it every time! *pun intended. ;) Everyone is kind and knows what they are doing. In the rare instances someone can not do the design I want, they work as a team and bring other technicians in to make sure I leave with the nails I want! We have not used their spa services yet, but will one day! I spontaneously decided to get a pedicure but was not wearing appropriate pants. They were tight fitting and could only be rolled halfway up the calf. They offered to supply a spa robe so I could experience the pedicure to its fullest! All in all, I have nothing bad to say.

Tim is the best! He always does such an amazing job and really takes his time making sure my nails look nice. I’ve been coming to Dream Spa for a few months now because my regular salon closed down. So glad I made the switch!

Wish I could give them zero star. They didn’t even do the nails I want. Made me do chrome when I didn’t want to do chrome. Didn’t even do good job on my nails and about to charge me $70 for this crap. Then discount to $66. Again it’s not even XL and full set. And I never wanted Chrome. They made me use chrome.

I am sooo impressed with Dream Spa! I had an amazing experience throughout my entire visit. The spa was clean, quiet, and full of customers, all great signs!! I booked a same day Detox Day package and had the most relaxing experience. I love how my gel mani/pedi turned out and the nail tech was gentle with my nails throughout! The hot rocks and towels were a really nice feature of the package. Mai completed the heavenly head bath and massage. I’d never had one before but Mai knew exactly how much pressure to use, and made the experience worth every penny!! There were fresh scented products used, and my skin feels so clean and rejuvenated afterwards. I will definitely be coming back with my friends for another relaxing visit in the future!

The Heavenly Hair Wash was truly heaven. It includes a facial, scalp massage, and upper body massage. Excellent value for such an affordable price. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend Dream Spa.

Absolutely amazing place for nails. I have been going here for over two years and no matter who my nail tech is they always do a great job. Natural nails or hard gel. Everyone is great! Also, I love that they play the animal channel on all the TVs so you can watch funny and sweet animal videos while listening to your own podcast or music. It’s the only place I’ll ever go. I love it

Head spa was lovely. The lady who did mine was very sweet, calming and attentive. The environment is very relaxing and they have a lot of options for if you want more than your nails done. I would love to come back and try more of their services!

I’m genuinely saddened to write this review. I was a long time customer for 3-4 years and had a good rapport with the nail tech I usually saw. I came back for so long to get my nails done by her exclusively and they were *usually* good with keeping appointments. A few times I waited almost an hr when I had an appt which was frustrating & made me late to work. The real issue was a few months ago when the tech I typically saw was out of town for an extended period of time and an older gentleman did my nails. I had been getting hard gel overlay on my natural nails for about 7 months with no issues or breaks. I repeatedly asked him to make them shorter as the length was bothering me, even physically pointing to where I wanted the length to be twice, and asked him to keep the shape. For some reason this did not happen, he kept making them narrower and narrower and not shorter, completely distorting the shape, which resulted in giving them an odd tapered and indented pointy look, and made them much more unnecessarily fragile because he tapered them in and made them much thinner for some reason unbeknownst to me. On one of my nails he filed it in so dramatically it was very painful as he filed into my actual nail bed and I yelped out in pain (second photo). Hard to see in the somewhat blurry photo, and it’s also hard to tell because he actually applied gel polish over it straight on the skin of my nail bed as well for some reason.. to make matters worse, he attempted to file into my nail bed he had already exposed and injured AGAIN when the polish was cured during the final “clean up” (if you can call it that) and I had to yelp again to get him to stop! My nails were left completely ragged and rough on the edges with very sloppy polish and a shape that looked terrible. The worst part though, was that he tapered my nails so much without my consent. With their length, they were now way too flexible and weak and bent in the middle, resulting in several of my nails tearing very far down in the nail bed. You can see 2 of them are like this in the 3rd photo. I had my polish removed elsewhere the next day, & nails on my other hand were broken like this as well. Why were perfectly good nails that I had previously had no issue with for the better part of a year destroyed? I paid, got in my car, and felt so disheartened about what happened, when I looked at them I felt so unhappy I walked back inside and politely told them about it and also that I had been injured when they were being filed. Again, this is after me patronizing this business consistently for over 3 years and always being courteous and tipping about 30% every time, whether or not I was happy. I did not ask for a refund on this day either, simply expressed my concern. The woman at the desk (I believe Amy) said she would fix them but I had already been there for 90 minutes and couldn’t spend any longer in the salon. It also wouldn’t have been possible to fix nails that were filed too narrowly and painfully so I just said I needed to get going and she basically threw my cash back at me out of the register. Again. Long time client always happy to take care of the techs. Complained once 3-4 years in and this is how I was treated, and I had the nails taken off elsewhere the next day so it’s not like I got a beautiful free set. When my normal tech was supposed to have returned and my nails had grown out months later, I tried to call to make an appointment with her and the phone would ring and then disconnect, tried about 10x. A friend called to see and they picked up right away, so they had blocked my number! I was gagged at the level of pettiness lol. I know these people work hard and just want to be paid for their work, as would anyone—but seriously blocking me after being a good customer and always tipping for years because I complained once and didn’t even ask for a refund?! Customer service is non existent and I wasn’t even being remotely difficult, the most reasonable concern was treated as the greatest offense. Owner responds combatively on all negative reviews.

Really enjoyed my experience here! We called and made an appointment ahead of time and were seated right when we showed up. They offer a lot of services. The staff was friendly and pedicures were great!

The staff were so nice and welcoming, and the head massage was more than I could have expected! It was relaxing, every product smelled wonderful, and when I lost an earring (which I recommend you take out before the service) the masseuse found it and made sure I had it before I left.

It took over an hour for fills. No design, just fills. 60$ (not including the tip) for lumpy fills with the black sticking out around the edge… that’s a no return for me. This used to be my go-to spot.

UTI FROM THE SPA. I recently tried the “little escape” spa option and when I got into their flotation water device it seemed like dirty water and the room smelled of cigarettes. The rest of the spa experience also did not seem very hygienic. Literally the next day I started to feel discomfort and found out I had a UTI from the dirty water. So disappointed as this happened the week of my wedding and right before my honeymoon. I had never had a UTI before, so this experience was very awful. I do not recommend going here.
