I booked twice here for braid style for my daughter. The first time the apt was at 9. The girl Quintella contacted me shortly before 9 asking could we come at 9:30. Since it was a desperate need and my child really wanted these braids I said yes. The second time the apt was at 9, she contacts me maybe a half hour before the apt asking if we could come later. I said what's later she says 12:00. I told her no 12:00 is unacceptable especially when your contacting me the day of the apt. You cannot just keep pushing people apts back people make apts based off of what they have to do also. Hairstylists are not the only ones with things to do. This girl is very unprofessional I will not be booking with her unprofessional a** again.

Looking over these reviews trying to find a near by salon for myself and 2 children I couldn't help but chime in as I am a business owner myself. Seeing the aggression from the owner because of a negative review automatically shows unprofessionalism to me. You cannot get mad young lady because a client feels how they feel. You will deal with positive reviews and negative reviews in the business field. You have to learn how to take them both and if it's negative learn your mistakes and correct them. The young lady stated that her apt was pushed back twice. Never once did she say the stylist wasn't good. That raises red flags right there. You think just because your stylists are good that makes them professional? It seems very unprofessional to push an apt back not only once but twice. If it was a client that canceled on you 30 mins before the apt you would charge full price correct? So show your clients the same respect. They should be charging you a late fee or a cancel fee as there time is just important as yours!

This was the most unprofessional experience I ever had. I physically watched the stylist check her availability and give me a day and time for my appt. 2 hrs before my appt time she cancelled...via text, with no explanation or option to reschedule. After I opened the door to an alternative she rescheduled my appt only to cancel again an hour before. She had the audacity to send me the name and number of another business and lied to me about speaking with them about the situation. I was completely embarrassed when I contacted the shop and they had no idea what I was talking. When I contacted the stylist from DreamGirls to see who she spoke with she ignored me. I'm almost positive she couldn't even do the style I wanted. It's never again for me. No regard for my time and the unprofessionalism was at an ultimate high.

I moved from New York and have been looking for someone to cut my head and I happened to find this location off of Google and I am happy I did... The young lady who cut my hair (Ms. Pookie) was very professional and friendly. The atmosphere was great and I love the virus precautions they took at the salon. I will definitely be going back and I recommend anyone who's looking for a stylist to go there.

OMG.... I went to this salon and a young lady named Pookey put weave in my hair. I wasn't sure if I would like it or not but words can't express how happy I was with the results. You couldn't tell me nothing. LOL. Got lots of compliments and now hubby is happy to pay whenever it's time for me to go for my next appointment. So Pookey.. thank you for you wonderful skills.
