My friend had a consultation a week before her appointment, where she specifically asked for a light brown dye with highlights. She made it super clear that she didn’t want any red or burgundy tones, but the stylist ended up dyeing her hair this bright red color instead. Now her hair looks so dry, and when she called the salon to share her concerns, they promised to get back to her but haven’t called back in 10 days. It feels like they’re just ignoring her, and she’s so frustrated. She either wants her money back or for them to fix her hair because they totally didn’t listen and just did their own thing. Honestly, the whole experience was so disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend going there.

Based on a recommendation on Nexr Door I made n appt w Wayne for a hair cut. My hair was blunt cut, about 2” below chin length. I told him I want about 1-2” length cut off,—I showed him 5-6 pics of myself with the hair length and look that I wanted— and emphasized that I definitely didn’t want any “under cut” at the back nape, as I at times like to be able to pull my hair back into a little nape pony tail. I had no idea what he was doing back there, but I trusted him to be doing what I had clearly discussed and showed him. When he was done, I saw in the mirror that it was definitely a good deal shorter than I had wanted…but I didn’t know just how much shorter it was until I left the salon. To my horror, I found that he had undercut the back of my hair so short that it is going to take months to grow out to a decent length. I still can’t believe what he did to me and my hair. He certainly did not give me the haircut that I wanted. Wayne gave me the haircut that he thought I should have. It’s not the end of the world. But it is a very, very bad and costly experience.

Beautiful salon, great customer service. Awesome hair product selection. I always leave feeling happy about my haircut. Many great stylists, my absolute favorite is Andre or Dre himself.

My stylist, Renee Zannetti is great with color, cuts AND styles, it’s obvious that she has decades of experience, one of the things that keeps me coming back is that she takes great care that my hair stays healthy! She also does a great job on my husband. Very flexible too!

I moved here from New York and been looking and looking for 4 years someone that knows what they doing. Jade made me smile again. She is super kind and knew what she was doing. Right the way she showed confidence, she respected my request and was super professional. She was fast and made sure that I was super happy before I left. I am so happy she had a cancelation and got me in. Love my hair. Prior to this appointment I went to a guy in those suites and ask him for highlights and gloss, this guy simply went on and made my hair black and horrible. I had to walk into my kids concert with hat on as I looked horrible really the worse ever. When I express to him that it wasn’t what I asked at all his attitude was like too bad so sad, didn’t care to fix at all and proceed to charge me $170 for it. Thankfully Jade fixed his mess in no time and I am so happy and grateful for her work.💚

It was my second time back, and I’m so happy with Christy. She is absolutely amazing at what she does, very personable, and easy to talk to. She listens and she offer great suggestions. I would absolutely recommend her, she is the best!!

This is my favorite salon in town! It is relaxing and stylish at the same time. Every stylist does a great job. Nail technicians keep the environment clean and do a wonderful job.

Visited the Salon in July 2023 and my son and I had our haircut. Lovely Salon and a good experience overall! Newcomers should be made to feel more comfortable.

$75 for 30 minutes of work. I got the most terrible haircut here. The young woman with me had no idea about brushing hair (or she didn’t care) and spent more time drying my hair than cutting it. The receptionist at this place seemed sweet but charging $75 for such a poor job… sad. Don’t recommend this place.

Andre is a hair artist for sure! Not to mention, he is Sicilian (like me) and reminds me of Stanley Tucci (who I adore!). He knew exactly what to do with my hair as it needed MAJOR correction. I had decided to go gray a year ago during the pandemic. What he did was do highlights and lowlights and made me not look "too" gray but streaked some blond in to look more youthful. I'm 62 and believe me, that was genius! I just wanted my hair to look good for my age. Watching him cut my hair was like watching someone who really knows hair and is very, very experienced! He gave a GREAT cut! The salon is beautiful and clean! Being a very large salon, it was well laid out. Overall, I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Next appointment already set. Book early because he fills up weeks out. I can see why they are a favorite in North Scottsdale. Thanks Andre!

I can easily say WOW. First time going today , it’s always hard finding somewhere new you trust for the first time. However I’m so thrilled I made the decision to come. I got my hair cut and 100% will be back for some color soon. Chelsea was my hair stylist and she KILLED it, so sweet and patient she literally was so polite and great with convo (getting your hair done is like therapy). Definitely recommend this salon. Everyone is different when it comes to style so just tell them what you want and looking for you won’t be disappointed!!! Thank you Chelsea can’t wait to be back.

Both the best nail person in the Valley, Loann Le, and Suela Kronaj, a master stylist & colorist, are at Dre's. The salon is professional, clean & beautiful. Conveniently located near Scottsdale Quarter. Highly recommend! I feel so comfortable going to Dre's Salon - everyone is so welcoming & relaxed. I feel like it's "my home away from home"...

I came in asking for a blonde ombré (see pic, this is the same picture I showed my stylist) and ended up with sandy blonde highlights with outdated styling. The next day I reached out to my stylist and let her know I was not satisfied and she told me she did the best in the time that she had. I was not aware she was pressed for time (disclaimer: my hair is very thick and she had never done it before so I’m sure she didn’t realize how long it would take) Even so the style nor color were what I asked for. I hate to leave a bad review as she was very nice, but I expect more from a high end salon in north Scottsdale.

My hair dresser is Rebecca who does an excellent job with color. The salon itself is pleasant, high end with modern decor. Waiting area has water and other drinks available in the waiting area. Brittain st the front desk is a jewel; always accommodating and helpful.

I have following my Master Stylist Andre for the last 20 years. And I fell very lucky that I get to meet him 20 years ago, each time I get my hair done I just tell him." Andre,please make me look young and sexy", sure enough he nails it each time. The place is clean,fresh looking and hip, offers a extendet varity of services, performed by the best people in the business,everyone that works at Dre's is friendly, helpfull and kind.Thank you for always making me look beatifull.
