Been getting my haircut here for 5 years now and I’ve never left unsatisfied. As someone who leans towards alternative hairstyles, you can trust that you’ll get what you ask for here. They take the time to listen to your ideas and have the skill to actually follow through on them.

I needed a last minute appointment and this salon was able to accommodate me, even during the holidays. Semaj did a great job with my highlights and trim. She also does a great blow out.

I have been coming to Drew James Pembroke Pines for over three years now and I could never go anywhere else! From beginning to end, the staff is always so welcoming and accommodating. Alyssa has been my stylist from the start and she was able to bring my hair back to life. She is the only stylist I will allow to cut my daughter’s curly hair. I constantly recommend Alyssa because I know she will always provide the best service. I highly recommend book an appointment!

My mother & I have been going to Drew James for many years, in Hollywood and now in Pines. They have never disappointed. Joey, the owner himself is absolutely fantastic! I have Latin thick mixed very curly hair & nobody has ever cut my hair like he had! Not a lot of stylists know how to deal with my hair but he never fails at making me feel so beautiful when I get out of his chair. The staff are warm and so polite! Will recommend them to everyone!

I have been coming to Drew James for years and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Both the plantation and Pembroke Pines salon locations are fabulous. It is such a zen environment, beautifully decorated with amazing service. Collin and Brandon are amazing and I always leave feeling better than when I came in. Totally recommend!!!

I been going to Aveda at Pines for a few years I left since I had moved out of the area. But as soon as I can back I started seen Megan great person and very knowledgeable of any hair condition and the products are the best I highly recommend.

Adrienne did an amazing job with my hair highlights. The color is perfect, and she paid great attention to every detail, making sure the result was exactly what I wanted. Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she’s also so sweet and nice, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I had Jessie and let me tell you she is SO GOOD! I honestly think she’s the best they have. I’m extremely tender headed and at no point during my highlights did she hurt me. At no point was I even in discomfort, she offered me coffee YES coffee brought me water I felt like royalty. Not to even mention the job she did on my hair, my hair feels and looks ABSOLUTELY fire and I would recommend anyone

I went there to do my roots of my and they said that they could match my color .I went to a stylist was a tier 6 so I was hoping you know what she's doing. I Told her that the color had a bit of blue or violet she said no that's too dark and I'm like I'm sure it does she kept saying no after she makes it I looked at my hair it was red and it did not match the rest of my hair and then after she finished she was oh next time if you come to your roots again I'm going to to add some blue which is what I said from the beginning. Why would I go back again spend almost $100 when you could have been done the first time. I don't understand how it's even acceptable and she should have totally done my roots again and not even charge me but once again this is the service that you get in most businesses. The audacity to even ask me if I'm going to come back again is ridiculous. I work hard for my money and I'm not just going to spend it on something that's not even worth 20? I could have dyed l l this in my house with a box . Thanks for the two-toned hair.

I recently went to Drew James Aveda for the first time and had a great experience. I can highly recommend Semaj, she did a beautiful job on my highlights, haircut and blowout. I could tell that she is a perfectionist that listens to your wishes and will ensure you get exactly what you came in for. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Had an AMAZING experience with Adrienne today who did the most amazing full head of highlights ( she can work fast !!) , great cut and treatment with my mane that badly needed since TLC. I am extremely grateful to her for taking me as I was running late but I would recommend her in a heartbeat. She listened to exactly what I wanted And needed and exceeded my expectations! She is also a lovely person and really easy to talk to. You will be in safe professional hands with Adrienne! 100% recommend!!!

I have thick wavy hair that other stylists have butchered by insisting on using the thinning shears, even when I tell them it makes my hair texture awful! Alyssa at Drew James listens to exactly what I want, and delivers consistently every time, taking the weight out of my hair with a slicing technique that makes my layers fall just right! I've been going to her for years, even when we moved further away from Pembroke Pines. She is worth driving the distance!! Thank you Alyssa!!!!
