The customer service here has become awful specially with the stylists. I had a dry styling appointment at 7:30pm and the stylist was 5min late. First of all no water was offered to me and then towards the end of my appointment, the stylist took a deep breath like she got fed up for doing my hair. At the end she didn’t even look at me and didn’t turn my chair around so I can see the style in the mirror. She just walked off. She was extremely rude and I am so disappointed in the customer service here.

Literally depends on which stylist you get! Last time I went I got someone who took soooo long and it didn't turn out well and it's just a frustrating experience knowing u could do it better at home lol

Calling all my curly/coily girlies. 2nd time at this location and Jasmine laid my hair!!!!! From the intro, to the wash……the wash was so nice and soothing, to the pleasant conversation during service, she was bomb and professional. I will continue booking with her from now. Became a monthly member last visit and I really enjoy that option to get my hair done when I’m too overwhelmed, busy, or flat out AINT feeling it to do my own hair. I wish I could post the video of my hair

Great experience!! Vivian was wonderful. She did such a good job and gave me one of the best blowouts I’ve ever had. 10/10 experience! I will definitely be coming back.

Go to an actual salon, I went today to get my hair curled for a wedding and my hair looks a mess. The back looks so bad! My hair part was all crooked. Now I have to re-do it myself.

I had my first blow out today with Geo and I was super happy with my hair. I actually loved it! I have curly hair and he had zero issues handling my hair and styling it. Geo himself was very pleasant to chat with! Made my experience even better. My only complaint would be the chairs :( for me they were a little uncomfortable but other than that I would definitely return and book another session here and with Geo!

I have been going here for over a year. Barfly membership has great benefits. I see Caesar or Trae for blowouts and dry styling. Great group at this location. Park in the garage and get validation. Strongly recommend.

I stopped here during a layover at DFW (took the train into the city; used the Victory stop on the Orange line, which got me super close to the salon). Ruth did a great job giving me a cute blowout with great volume. Would absolutely recommend it!

I was seated promptly. My original stylist could not do my hair and had to switch with someone even though I have curly hair listed. I’m glad she changed because in the end I had a great stylist.

It was my first time going to dry bar and I was very disappointed. Don’t get me wrong the place is clean and the staff is very nice but for that price, the service was bad. I am African with 4c long and thick hair. I suffer from dandruff so I use a special shampoo. I called before to ask if I washed my hair home and just come for the blow dry would that change the price, they said no. So I came with my own shampoo so they can use it. When I arrived, the hairstylist who was asked to take care of me was African American and very nice. So I felt like I would have a great service because she would understand how our hair works. She knew about my dandruff and she was even giving me tips to help. When she started washing my hair. I notice her hand was only scratching the contour of my head no the inside. Like she would literally scratch my scalp with one finger in one place for not even a sec, mind you I have thick hair. So I told her can you go more inside, but she started massaging my scalp which is not bad but my scalp is still not clean!!!! We go to the chair, she would leave and go to the back every time, she was constantly distracted by the tv. By the end of the service she wanted to flat iron my hair which I guess is included in the blowout but I only needed my hair blowdried so I could do braids in the afternoon so I told her it’s okay she did not need to. She had my hair in two cornrows to protect it until I was going to do my braids which was nice of her. When ready to pay, she explain to the receptionist that she did not flat iron my hair only blow dry, so I thought the price will go down but no it was still $55 for basically 2/3 or the service (wash, blow dry, not flat iron). I’m very disappointed you guys have a nice establishment. You should make the price adjustable and train really well your employees when it comes to nappy black people hair. I don’t think I would come back, I would rather go to pressed root. I don’t think my scalp is clean enough and it wasn’t worth $55! I’m home not even an hour after my appointment and I scalp is still flaky

Went in for glamorous waves. 2 hours later I left looking like a joke version of Shirley temple. Green haired stylist said the style was difficult for her and blamed it on the length of my hair. They didn’t charge me because it was clearly awful. Never again.

Drybar has great staff and great products, don’t get wrong. I’m extremely disappointed in the overall service especially for the price. I went in for a blowout and asked for loose curls for my anniversary. I was extremely disappointed at how quickly my curls fell and how short my style lasted. I don’t know if it’s because the brand is too commercial or what, but save the time and money and go get your hair done at a different salon. I’m SO disappointed to have had this experience and to leave a negative review. I shouldn’t have to pay this much for a blowout that didn’t even last 5 hours.

Drybar is not what it used to be. DONT GO!! I left with weird 80’s ringlets and frizzy hair when I asked for soft waves. My hair was so tangled and and I could not run my fingers through it at all. Also, I was asked if I wanted a serum on my hair that reduces frizz so I said sure… it was a sneaky move as they charged me $15 for this serum in which I don’t even recall her using in my hair. And from the looks of my hair I don’t think she did. It was NYE and they were very busy so I knew they wouldn’t have time to rewash or correct this. I left and rewashed my hair at home (after the hour it took to comb through the frizzy mess of tangles) I’ll go to BAM or my salon in the future to have actual stylists. I paid $80 for a very dry, frizzy, tangled mess. I even had friends say “wow you need to comb your hair girl”… and after I told them I JUST left Drybar they were shocked I left and paid for this mess.

I must say, I’m very impressed. I’m mixed with 3C, dry, low porosity hair. I was skeptical and wasn’t sure if I would find someone with experience and confidence to do my hair. My stylists was Cesar and he did an amazing job. From the wash down to the styling. I think I’m obsessed with the Drybar now! What I got: a blowout and an add-on of the silk product they have. It’s called liquid glass or something like that.

Horrible! The hairstylist was just SO RUDE. I didn’t see him smile once. Also he was very aggressive with my hair and hit my face with the brush and didn’t even apologize.

My usual experience at Dry Bar is relaxing. Today, September 29, 2021, however, my experience started off very wrong. A hairstylist named Dawn greeted me rudely. When I sat down at her station, I asked if I should take off my loop earrings. Her retort was, "I'm doing your hair, not your earrings." I let that go even though I could tell she had a bad attitude, giving her the benefit of the doubt that maybe, just maybe, she was joking. I took off my earrings and started removing a rubber band around my hair. She said, "I need to turn you around to see this mirror and we can take care of all of that later." She turned me around to face the mirror, and asked me how I would like my hair. I told her that I would like beachy waves. She then asked if I wanted any products, for which I told her I didn't like a lot of products. She then asked well, which products, I kind of pointed to one (since no one has ever asked which products they should use) and told her you can use that. She said, like a drop? I looked at her like she was crazy. She then asked, which side would you like your hair parted, in a very rude manner. I pointed to the side I wanted the part on. She then went into a ramble describing the part, upper, blah, blah, blah, I don't know. I said just part it on my left side, it doesn't really matter where. She walks me to the bowls and says, "sit anywhere." Again, in an extremely rude manner. I sat at a bowl and took out the foot rest. She made sure I was comfortable at the bowl and starts grabbing my hair as though it's detached from my head. I told her, "I'm tender headed so please be gentle." She continued pulling my hair. She said your hair is tangled so I'm going to have to get this tangle in the back out first. With her pulling my hair already, I got up and said, "You need to chill. Get me someone else because you are upset about something and I've never been treated like this." She told me that I was the one with the problem and told me that I had a problem as soon as I walked in. I told her, I was relaxed when I walked in. I told her I wanted someone else and she said, yes you need to get someone else. Nicole, the regional manager, came over and saved the day. I can't believe, however, I was never offered a comp. After the stress, I free blow dry was warranted.

Overall the experience wasn’t welcoming at all. My stylist tried to make small talk and was nice enough, but the heat the curls were done at and the barrel used weren’t really the best way to achieve the style requested and my hair fell within two hours. I have wavy hair, it holds curls. 😖
