I was visiting from out of town and this was the worst dry bar experience and turn out. The lady who did it had zero people skills and extremely rude. My hair smelled horrible and dirty and I asked if she could spray something in it to make it smell better and she just said “well I washed it twice” and walked away. I am an avid dry bar customer and go to them all over the United States and this was horrible. Do not waste your time or money. I will be rewashing my hair

This was a really bad and uncomfortable experience compared to blow outs from other blow dry bars I’ve been to. The stylist seemed so unsure of herself the entire time. She did not wash my hair well. Did not style it at all. The main thing I wanted was volume and have none at all. I definitely could have made my hair look better myself in half the time and without the $55 fee.

Milan did an excellent job on my hair. She stayed two hours after closing to finish up. She took her time detangling my hair during the wash stage and again after the wash before the blow drying. And the best part is, I made the appointment the same day. I so appreciate knowing there is somewhere and someone that can take care of my hair, and I don’t have to book 2 months in advance. Highly recommend Milan and Dry Bar!

Do NOT get a membership here! You can never get an appointment or get anyone to answer the phone. I don’t know how many services I have built up because I can never get in when it’s convenient for me.

3 friends and I went to this business to get our hair done. We were attending a concert that evening and since we had used a DryBar before for this purpose, we booked at this location. it was terrible. Of the 4 of us, only 1 friends hair actually held through the night. The other 3 of us had our curls/waves complete fall out within 1-2 hours. Mine had no volume, one side was even styled almost completely flat against my head. (I had requested Mai Tai) I attempted to redo mine at the hotel, but it was like whatever product had been used on my hair made it so heavy, nothing would stay in. If we would have had more time, we would have completely washed and styled our hair over ourselves- it was bad. If we had not had success at other Dry Bar locations, I would not return to one again. I definitely will not return to this location.

Very disappointing. The stylist doing my hair didn’t seem confident and shortly after she started doing my hair I could see why. The girl before me kept trying to tell her how to fix her hair and it just wasn’t happening. About 10 minutes after she left she came back and asked another stylist to fix it bc she wasn’t happy with it. I have very long hair and that was one of the first things my stylist mentioned to me. I thought she meant it as a compliment but she said it bc she was annoyed. I picked out a hairstyle and said I wanted a lot of volume and big curls. Well, she seemed to be having a really difficult time and kept using the round brush to try and untangle my hair. I’m not a hairdresser and even I know that’s a no-no, plus it hurts. She also kept getting the round brush caught on my sweater and snagging it. Well after almost an hour (I can do my hair in under an hour) her next appointment had arrived. Another stylist came up and asked her if she wanted her to take or next client. My stylist said, “or you can just take her bc I don’t know what to do with this.” At this point, I was ready to just walk out but I knew my card was on file and figured I would get charged full price for an awful job anyway. So I went over to the other stylist and she was nicer and seemed to be more confident but didn’t style it anyway as I had asked. It was very flat, curls fell, and I had clamp marks in my hair from the straightener. Overall I just wasn’t impressed. I went there bc I was wanting big beautiful hair that I couldn’t get at home. Instead, I paid for something I could have easily done at home by myself and I could have done it better. Which is very disappointing to me bc I was hoping to make this a regular thing.

Came to Lexington on a trip and absolutely loved it! my stylist was fantastic and my blowout lasted for days! Super clean, and fast and efficient. I didnt have to worry about my hair the entire time I was in town!

Every single time I go to DryBar I have the best experience!! The stylists are so nice and professional and I feel like they can take the style I explain that I want and make my dreams into a reality! Whether it's an updo for a special event like a gala or wedding, or some beautiful beach waves for a photoshoot-- they are always my go-to! I can't recommend them enough!!

Have always had the best experiences at the Dry Bar in Lexington! My hair is very thin and not great at holding a curl but somehow they always style it perfectly and it holds up all night! The products are so amazing I can't help but buy the shampoos etc. when I leave! If you are looking to treat yourself head here ASAP!

I booked 2 appointments for my sister and I on October 9th at 4:15 p.m. My sister received a free blowout promotion from the place she bought her wedding dress, The White Dress of Lexington. My sister lives out of state and made the 3 1/2 hour drive to Lexington specifically so we could receive blowouts. When we arrived to our appointment, the front desk lady told us that we couldn’t use the promotion on Saturdays. Nowhere on the card does it state that nor did anybody relay us that information. The front desk lady didn’t seem to care that my sister had made this trip. Very bad marketing on Drybar’s part and very bad customer service. I, the paying customer, was not going to get my hair done there after that. Showing a little sympathy goes a long way.

I have really stubborn straight Asian hair that does not like to hold curls. The hair stylist suggested specific styles that might hold in my hair and explained what styles might end up falling out. We ended up with the Cosmo-Tai and it held up great! Even saw some of the curls still holding the next day.

Love getting my hair done here!! It was my first Drybar experience and it was so good I got the barfly membership! They are always quick and super friendly as well as being flexible on hair styles. Every experience I've had at this Drybar location is wonderful!

Precious the stylist is amazing and what she does. I have natural long thick hair. Most would run, but she stepped up to the challenge. I go monthly for wash and flat iron. She has me in and out in under a hour. Literally a hour! The staff are accommodating and welcoming as soon as you enter the facility. You need to be hydrated? They will bring frosted glass of cold water to you. Atmosphere is sunny and music is always on point. See ya soon Precious and team Dry Bar. You can definitely count on that!

Very disappointed with my appointment. I arrived on time for my 4.15pm appointment, when I checked in the front desk girls did a lot of whispering before going to get a lady I presume was the supervisor. She was extremely rude to me and tried to turn me away saying my appointment was at 4pm. I had confirmation in the drybar app and also in an email that my appointment was 4.15, when I should them this there was no apology and they seemed annoyed by having to accommodate my appointment. The girl who did my appointment was not confident and kept saying that my hair wasn't working. I've had my hair curled before and it "works" just fine. The blowout did not look great but I needed to get to an event so I paid, tipped and left. The curls fell about 30 minutes after I left. Needless to say I did not have an enjoyable experience.

Worst blowout I’ve ever had. Came in from Nashville and there was one person working…. Staff was friendly, but the blowout didn’t hold two hours later and I could have done a better job. I had a presentation the next morning and have always had good experiences at other dry bars…. This was a waste of money.

I have now been to dry bar twice! I went once to get my hair done for going wedding dress shopping and once for my bridal shower! Both times they were so nice and helpful as I am pretty clueless when it comes to hair! I absolutely love the products as well! They have had movies playing both times and was so fun to watch as I got my hair done! Plan on going again lots in the future! They also took COVID-19 seriously and took all necessary precautions.

I love the Drybar in Chevy Chase! The facility is so happy, cheery and clean and I always love how my hair looks when I leave. They don't do cuts, or colors... just washes/blowdrys/styles. They also sell the best dry shampoo on the market, in my opinion!

The staff was so amazing and kind! They did a wonderful job on my hair, and it lasted so long. The shop itself was beautiful! I went for my going away party and they accommodated a large group, and even let us bring our own champagne. Would highly recommend!
