I absolutely love Drybar and how fast and convenient it is to get my hair done on the fly! Ricci was fabulous - her hands felt like magic washing my hair, throwing in a little extra TLC to massage my neck and scalp. I am a product girlie: I love the smell of the Agua Fresca shampoo (coconut beach vibes) and the purple shampoo for my blonde. Liquid Glass is a great smoothing gloss treatment to add in as well. I have one row of extensions so it’s a huge help/appreciation when they have extra hands to help dry my hair faster. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and she did exactly that. I always love a natural looking blowout with pin set rollers to give me soft round, bouncy curls. :)

I have been a loyal Drybar customer since they’ve opened at the Scottsdale Quarter, and this location continues to exceeded my expectations! Danielle, the store manager, runs an excellent team, ensuring seamless and welcoming experience every time. Danielle is absolutely awesome – her skill, professionalism and attention to detail make very visit a pleasure. My blowouts are always perfect, and I leave feeling confident and refreshed. I highly recommend this location. I will definitely keep coming back!

I have been going to the Drybar in Scottsdale Quarter on a weekly basis for almost 4 years. There is a reason for that….IMHO they are the best Drybar location, not just in Arizona, but the U.S. The staff is super talented (shout out to Jordan B and Sarah B in particular, but the entire staff is great!) Thanks Danielle for always making me feel like family when I am in the shop. I will continue to be a loyal client of the Drybar for years to come. Highly recommend this location…you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been going to DryBar since 2016 and absolutely LOVE it! The Scottsdale Quarter location is hands down the best. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with such a warm and upbeat vibe—it’s impossible not to feel pampered and taken care of! Brenda is an absolute rockstar! She nails it every single time, and her blowouts always have me walking out feeling like a million bucks. She listens, works her magic, and somehow makes my hair better than I imagined. And Danielle, the manager, is just as amazing! She keeps everything running so smoothly and always makes you feel welcome. This location truly goes above and beyond, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for the perfect blowout and an incredible experience, this is the place to be!

I love this location! Every stylist I have seen has been great and professional! They always get me the appointment time I need and are never running behind. I have a monthly membership and it’s so worth it! Danielle the manager always makes sure to say hi and i love how friendly the overall environment is! And of course the movies are a plus!

Oh my stars! ALL 5 STARS for this fabulous Scottsdale find!!! The Dry Bar staff is highly trained by the same method. I have super stubborn hair!! But the way they work the curl into it creates AND sets the cure in place! The style HOLDS FOR DAYS because of the hard work they do with that round brush!!! You get your money’s worth because that style truly holds. The stylists listen to what look you want and they are able to nail it CONSISTENTLY!!! They do not cut or color hair but heck they style it better than an other person I have ever gone to. I greatly appreciate their kind, warm environment and their fun girl vibe!

I accidentally booked the wrong appointment for me and 3 friends. Never received a confirmation text or email or I would have caught it. Called and left a VM and was so apologetic and asked to be booked for correct date. I was charged $55/person for the missed date. Apparently my request made it all the way to the “top” and the least they could do was offer a charge of $25/person. When I booked my new appointment I DID indeed receive a confirmation text, not the first time. I asked if the no show fees could at least be a drybar credit for an honest mistake and was very apologetic. This issue took 6 DAYS to resolve. Finally on the 6th day I got a manager to call me. They said we can offer you a free travel size product. I was so embarrassed for her when she offered that. They lost a drybar customer. I know it was my error but the lack of compassion for an accidental mess up which really discouraging. So warning, make sure you cancel your appointment or you’ll be charged for the full service.

My 16 year old African-American daughter had a discriminatory experience here. Will be following up with my lawyer first thing Monday as they sent her home in tears. I’m presently out of the country right now and trying to sort out how to fix the matter mess they sent her home with. First thing noted: she went in with her nanny who is Caucasian and even she commented on the dirty looks the stylists there were giving a 16 year old child. Denise the “manager” claimed they arrived late and took 20 minutes to take down 2 braids that were left in my daughter’s hair. That was a lie as I was on the phone with the nanny as soon as they walked in and she felt a vibe shift. Took them five minutes to remove two braids while they waited 10 minutes for an available stylist. Before we booked we asked if they had a stylist who could work with 4c natural hair. The operator said yes and to just make a note of it. The first thing they did when they saw my daughter’s hair was to say they don’t”detangle” hair and then proceeded to wet my daughter’s hair without brushing it first. Her hair did not need “detangling” it simply needed to be brushed out. They just used whatever messed up coded word to dog whistle their discriminatory practices. So if a Caucasian woman walks in with curly hair do you not brush it first before you wash it? Now they’re washing her 4c hair without combing it out first which THEN caused her hair to mat. At this point I’m still on the phone with the nanny and I ask her to give the phone to the only African American lady working there who informs me they will be charging me for a “deep conditioning” of my daughter’s hair and sending her home. She’s telling me to have her just rinse and braid her hair and she should be fine. This is a blow out bar. So now her hair is matted, wet and it’s 8:00pm so there’s nowhere else she can go to sort this. I ask my nanny to put the “manager” Denise on who just proceeds to attempt to gaslight me into believing we brought me daughter in to a dry bar for a conditioning and that’s it. I informed her if they could not have done the job we had asked for when I signed up online, for whatever reason, whether they were late, or they still had 2 braids in her hair, they should have not touched my daughters hair. Denise responds “well she said okay” yes, because they were under the impression that a blow out would be following said “deep conditioning” aka actually messing up my daughter’s natural hair and also, she’s a minor and you’re a hair stylist who didn’t communicate your intentions clearly. So now I’m upset because not only is my daughter having to experience this racist nonsense, she’s now sitting there with her hair a mess and in clips and traumatised and I’m all the way in London and can’t do anything to actually help her. Which is an extremely harrowing and gut wrenching feeling to have as a mother. And then they tried to charge for this nonsense “we will just charge your card on file.” No you won’t, because you’re not going to emotionally abuse my child, mess up her hair and then charge me for it. They backtracked and sent my daughter home with her hair wet and in clips. So thank you Denise and your trained staff for this incredibly disgusting experience. I’m sure you’ll respond with some nonsense retort that are just absolute lies to mask your practices as I’m fairly said practices is actually drybar’s corporate policy. If you’ve read this and you’re a person of colour, proceed at your own risk. If you’re not consider what you’re actually supporting such a business. And if your hair is even remotely curly be prepared to have them mat your hair and then attempt to charge you for it. You’re welcome to listen to her absolute lies below written to save face but do understand I have nothing to gain by writing this review except to prevent you from-at best having to cut out undermatting at the roots because their preferred clientele is blonde with fine hair, and at worst dealing with discriminatory yet inexperienced stylists who dont know what they’re doing.

Had not been back for years after multiple failed attempts. Tried again, came home, washed out the sticky heavy mess and did ourselves. Strike 3. Over saturated with heavy product that weighs down fine hair leaving hair flat with a crimp if lucky and frizz ends. To even be “finished” and released like that was not ok. Manager did offer to rewash and redo but not enough time.

They charged me $20 extra for extensions. The extensions are sewn into my hair already; the stylist didn’t need to do a thing but style my hair as is. She did a good job, but when I questioned the cashier charging me $20 extra for extensions that didn’t even need to get placed on my head, she told me they add it whether you have extensions already in, or not. Complete scam. On top of that, I was going to a funeral that day. I’ll never be back, and thankfully I have an amazing credit card company.

I had a phenomenal blowout today done by Sophia who literally gave me 200% results! I'm so happy I decided to walk in last minute and I will definitely be asking for her from here on out! The stylists at this Drybar location have been styling my hair since it opened. Each stylist has been an expert with my thick wavy layered hair. I am thankful every time I visit. The owners are kind to their employees and have chosen each stylist wisely. Thank you Drybar.

Great location and great stylists! I have hair down to my waist and they still style it with beautiful curls that hold for 2-3 days! The prices have gone up a little bit over the past year (but what store hasn’t?). You can schedule through the app which is very convenient you don’t have to call anyone! They have products and addons you can purchase if you would like to. I usually do the liquid glass add on to help with frizz control! Scottsdale quarter is a very busy area so be sure to give yourself 5-10 extra minutes to park in a parking garage and walk over if you are going to an appointment on the weekend or in the evening during the week. Oh! And don’t forget to wear a button down shirt so you won’t mess up your newly beautiful hair pulling a shirt over your head!

I can’t believe some of these negative reviews. It was my first experience at Drybar. Abby was so welcoming and a perfect first impression! Rosa was beyond amazing and really “fixed “ me when I really needed it. The stylists here really seem to love what they do! I watched a man next to me make the most beautiful curls in a platinum blond, and the other side styling an 8 year old dancer. I will be back.
