I came in on Saturday for a blowout with some loose curls, experience while in the salon was good, my stylist was very nice and as I stepped foot outside of the salon I was very happy with my hair. I took a 15 min uber ride from the salon to the hotel, and by the time I made it in the room maybe 20/25 mins max later, my hair was completely flat. I do not know if the stylist did not use the appropriate hair products, or if the products themselves are no good. But I was very upset by that point that I waisted an hour and money of my busy day to have done exactly what I had to do myself once I got back in the room. I do not recommend nor would I ever come back to this salon.

My wife had 2 terrible experiences in a row... had been going for a while only to discover they had been overcharging her card. They refused to resolve the overpayment.

I have gone to drybar numerous times. The last several times, I had the stylist do the southern charm style. My hair holds a curl very well, and I have had this style done in the summer with high humidity and the winter—all lasted 2-3 days. This time, my hair was tangled at the bottom, fell within 30 min. and was damp near the roots. Definitely not worth $55.

This was my second time here and Sally was great. She was very personable and happy to have me. Explained everything and how to better care for my hair. I had a dry style fir headshots for work and it turned out amazing.

Booked a blow dry because I recently had surgery and couldn’t wash my hair. Called 13 minutes past the 12 hour cancellation policy left a voicemail and was charged not only once but twice. The full service and a late cancellation fee. These people don’t care about customer service and are only money hungry. The front desk lady was nice but the manager could not care less and would not refund me the fee even though I called 13 minutes past the 12 hour mark. Was really excited to come here especially after feeling so sick and the only reason I cancelled was because I wouldn’t be able to drive. How disappointed and unsatisfactory this service has been.

I have long naturally curly hair. Every stylist I’ve gone to has done a pretty blowout. I’m out in less than an hour and Same day booking is also super convenient.

My sister and I went here for an up-do. We didn’t have a stylist in mind, so we took whoever was available. My experience is that it’s just ok, nothing spectacular. We were charged $15 each for 2 tiny little braids (as part of an up-do, which I thought was excessive). However, I must admit that we did not get a blowout so perhaps my experience would have been better/different. Overall, we paid $50 each for the up-do but I’m not really impressed enough to run back anytime soon.

I went to the DryBar for the first time a couple days ago. Walked in and wasn’t greeted. Just stared at awkwardly til the receptionist came to the desk and checked me in. The stylist who did my hair was very friendly and had good vibes. But didnt wash my hair properly at all. I have hair extensions so it’s a little more work. But you pay extra for that extra time. The hair products including the brushes aren’t inclusive aka for POC hair. The ceramic straighters don’t work well at all. The blow out was good though. Wouldn’t recommend for POC to come here unfortunately. Paid $90 plus 25% tip for a weak service.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have a good experience yesterday. It was my first and likely my last time. The lady who did my hair was sick with a cold and she didn’t use a mask. Furthermore, it was obvious she didn’t have much experience. It was taking her so long that another hairdresser offered to help her and she finished my blowout. The owner shouldn’t have let her work if she was sick.

Destiny was amazing! My bestie booked me a blowout for my engagement photos, and I am so so so happy that she insisted I pamper myself at Drybar :) I get the Manhattan style, with a liquid glass treatment (a 100% must if you hate frizz) and a scalp massage. The location was so cute, and really clean, and I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to find parking. These girls make me want to get a Barfly pass again! Thank you ladies <3

I have tried and tried and tried to give this place a chance since it’s close to me and usually easy to get an appointment. So inconsistent. The last time I specifically asked on my appointment notes to not have a certain stylist (due to an experience I can only explain as I thought I was being punk’d) only to get her and then she ripped out my sew-in in hair extensions by yanking on my head too much. Every single time I go - I tell myself not to return, this time I’ve learned my lesson.

First time to dry bar and won’t be back. I booked a blowout and scalp massage. When I got there I asked about the tonic scalp add on. The girl was nice but not informative at all. I got it anyway just to see how it might help. Scalp massage wasn’t a massage at all. Just a regular wash. Blow dry was extremely frizzy after. When I got to my car I started running my hands through my hair and there were still wet parts. For $70 and a 25% tip this wasn’t worth it at all.

I will not be coming back to this store. I had a $20 off card and it was expired. I was unaware of this. Most places take expired coupons what is $20 off especially with this economy do you really want to loose a valued customer that comes often and buys products and blowouts ? I would think not. This is bad business. People are very sensitive how they spend their money.

This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been! In less than 2 minutes of me being inside, they tried to over charge me. The stylist herself told me that it was not worth it! When I chose to leave w/o going through with the service, they charged me a cancellation fee. The manager basically told me to pound sand!

This was my first time ever getting a blow out and I cannot recommend Destiny enough! Not only was she very sweet but she also made my hair look the best it ever has for my special event. I got so many compliments!! Will most definitely be back to see her for any and all upcoming events :)

I booked an appointment weeks in advance because I knew I was going for a wedding and wanted to have a nice hairstyle. I asked for a specific hair stylist because she did an amazing job before and was given someone else completely. Asked for a simple beach waves. Ended up with huge 90 hair style. It’s just one big mess and looks so bad. Luckily I took my own tools and had some time to fix it Really bad, please go somewhere else. Not worth 50$ at all

If I could give them 0 stars I would! Good luck getting in an actual chair! Schedule far ahead! Auto debit money monthly out of your account and then u can’t get an appointment! And when u FINALLY do get an appointment their staff tells you the wrong time! If you had a text message system that sent out apt reminders then I would’ve caught YOUR error!!! Instead, after waiting for 2 weeks for a blow out I am told I can’t be seen because of their error! Oh, and someone will have to get back to me about cancelling my auto debited membership! I’m so so so disappointed in you Drybar!

I’m a regular customer at dry bar locations throughout all the major cities especially this location 2-5x a month. I called that I was going to be late they didn’t say they couldn’t service me. I walked in at 4:16pm and the stylist came out at 4:19 and said she wouldn’t take me. After just talking to the lady at the front desk saying it was ok.

My wife went to have her hair curled for my sons wedding. They gave her a completely untrained Mal individual who has no experience I had just started after she told him exactly what she was looking for he gave her lip service did what he wanted to do. My wife is upset she had to go back to the hotel room and completely redo it herself and yet they still charged us think before you will use this location.

UPDATE: changing the review from 1 star to 3 after the manager of the place contacted us within an hour to give us a free session to correct after their employee. The work was distinctly higher level than the original effort, and we hope that it will hold for longer than 30 minutes this time. Original review: My partner came in to get hair done for the wedding that we are attending. It’s been 30 minutes since we left, and the absolute mess she got has already fallen apart. Great job on ruining customers’ expectations. This business needs to rotate their staff as they’re getting too comfortable.

My fiancé and I came in this morning to get our hair done before our engagement photoshoot. While the girls who did our hair were very kind and sweet, the hairstyle itself was a waste of money. We ran over the 45 minute time and ended up being late to our shoot. Which we understand, everyone’s hair is different so it won’t always take the 45 min they say. I had the southern comfort and my fiancé had the cosmo tai style. Our shoot was immediately after and our hair didn’t hold up for even the first few photos. Our hair fell flat and straight within minutes of leaving the salon. It was a waste of $90 and cost us time in our photoshoot. Wish I could say we had a better experience but our photos would’ve turned out better if we just did our hair ourselves. My fiancé’s hair actually ended up looking flatter and worse than if she’d just washed and dried it normally.

Nikki was my stylist and exceeded my expectations. Not only was she so nice and great to talk to, but she did an amazing job with my hair for a formal event. All I said to her was. “I suck at hair, do whatever you want.” She asked me some questions, described to me what she wanted to do, and within an hour came up with a beautiful half-up style that stayed the entire night. The place was clean and well spaced, everyone wore masks, and they constantly checked on me. I got to watch TV while my hair was being done and Nikki and I had a great conversation. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get my hair done!
