Tina did a wonderful job cutting my hair. I’m in the process of growing it out, and although the bob cut looks great on me, I wanted to avoid going too short this time. Tina was very honest about how the haircut I initially chose might look with my current hair length. I appreciated her candor. Realizing it wouldn’t turn out exactly like the photo I showed her, I was amazed by how Tina’s skills still made it work beautifully with the length I had. I also valued her recommendations on styling and coloring.

I was referred to Tina back in 2018 and I haven’t looked back since. I am pretty picky when it comes to my hair as it’s a big investment and huge part of our overall appearance. Every time I’m in Tina’s seat, I know I’ll be well taken care of. Our consult before the color always is my favorite part. Tina is so knowledgeable in color and tones and knowing exactly what I want. I trust her completely and always get out of the chair with hair I love. Yes it’s a long process and expensive but so totally worth it. I’ve relocated to LA now and fly up twice a year to make sure Tina is still the only one touching it. She’s a magician and I hope to never need to find another stylist.

I would highly recommend this hair salon to anyone in need. Their prices are fair and the work is excellent. This company is very professional and their stylists are highly skilled. She did an excellent job creating the look I wanted. I am very satisfied with their work.

It was December 2023. It was almost a year since I got my hair last done and cut. My roots grew out. My hair was now super brassy and in desperate need of a haircut. So, I went to Duet Salon thanks to a friend’s recommendation. Duet Salon has a variety of hair stylists to choose from and what services (along with prices) each stylist provides. Out of them all, I picked Nonnie as my hairstylist. She was thorough when asking about my hair and its history. When attending to my hair, she treated it with much-needed love and care. She also provided me with hair advice as well as knowledge on what hair products to use/avoid. She even made sure I was comfortable and offered me drinks and snacks. Overall, she was very accommodating and fun to talk to. In total, the process took about 6 hours, but it was 100% worth it! My hair not only looked so much better but felt healthier and softer than when I came in. All in all, I had a great experience and will come back again. I HIGHLY recommend Duet Salon and choosing Nonnie as your hairstylist!

I’ve been going to Duet Salon for about a year and a half now. Mai always does my hair and she does a wonderful job with the color and styling of my hair! The atmosphere was pleasant, and there were lots of smiles and conversations. I recommend taking a look at their instagram before hand to see which stylist is the best for your desires, but I highly recommend Mai!

My experience meeting the stylists at Duet Salon was extremely warm, professional, and kind! I highly recommend Zaneta, she listened to my concerns and thoroughly assessed my hair throughout the entire process of dyeing my hair. I have had my hair dyed by different stylists in the past, but nothing beats Zaneta’s artistic and magical touch. Thank you Zaneta!!!

I wish I could give a NEGATIVE 5 star for the owner of this business Tina Park. This is my first time there and my last time. Tina offered nothing but a hostile attitude and zero respect to her customer. I went for a hair color service. It was my first time there so I asked 2 questions - 1. the brand of the hair color products to be used on MY hair (they provided me the 3 brands they use before this appointment) 2. the color chart because I wanted to see what are the two colors they said they were going to mix. These are the most common, expected and legitimate questions from any customer who is going to spend $200+ and 2 hours, plus the first time being there. I was shocked to find Tina's reaction to my questions. I didn't recognize her pronunciation of Schwarkopf when she first said it so I asked her to spell it. Instead of spelling the brand and offering some introduction, she appeared to be very offended at my question and told me that this is the brand they use every day and if I am not comfortable with this brand, I shouldn't color my hair today. Gladly I figured out the pronunciation and told her I am good with Schwarkopf. Then I asked to see the color chart. Isn't it a standard practice for the hair dresser to show the customers the color chart (as something like waiter giving the menu to diners before their ordering)? But Tina exploded at this question and simply told me in my face with a cold and disrespectful tone 'You asked very specific questions. You shouldn't color your hair today' and she even opened the door for me. Seriously? I took the time driving to their salon, stopped by the bank to withdraw the cash to accommodate their cash only rule (wondering why) and this woman asked me to leave just because I asked two questions??? There are hair salons everywhere and I am more than happy to take my money to the hairdresser who at least respects the customer and value their business. Wondering why Tina hates totally normal questions that much - is she trying to hide something about their products? Tina is such an irritated, unprofessional, rude, cranky, hostile and mean person. Horrible woman with poorest customer service. I genuinely feel bad for her staff who has to deal with this kind of person every day. If you value your time and life, then avoid this horrible place. Don't go there unless you can zip your mouth and not ask one single question.

Have been coming to the same stylist for at least 15 years and never disappointed. Jane is very meticulous to detail and takes the time to do a great job. In recent COVID times the salon has updated to create a safe and clean environment.

My daughter went to have her colored and when she cane after 8 hours !!! It was the same color and a $427.00 charge on my card !! Wow. Very unhappy as they took advantage of a kid.

Besides being an awesome tag team between mom and daughter (Duet), these two ladies are so talented and put their heart in their work. I've never gotten so many compliments for my color and cut in my life. I've also never had so many people ask for their contact so they could go. Their work and clients speak volumes!! I wish I could transport them to Minnesota but it was sad to leave Diet Salon. I really don't think I'll find another place like them here.

I swear Tina has magic hands; twice now I have brought her an overgrown mess, asked for a miracle and that is what I received! She always makes sure not only to understand what a client is looking for, but to also understand the texture, quantity, and history of the hair she is treating and how to safely achieve what is desired. While it may appear that she specializes in dark to light transformations and balayage/hair painting techniques, the girl is beyond talented (and educated) in all things hair. I came in asking for all over low lights, a section of "fashion color", and a V cut. This was same thing I had asked another stylist to do about 6 months ago who was not prepared for the amount of hair I have and whose assistant failed to pass on adequate information from my color consultation; but I digress. I had been thinking nonstop about this specific look after not getting what I anticipated over summer and knew that Tina would be able to achieve what I wanted. And BOY was I RIGHT! I got exactly what I imagined, wanted, and dreamed of since my botched appointment. She asked me plenty of questions before and during the appointment, kept me informed during all phases of the appointment, and (most importantly) made sure I was comfortable with everything she was doing along the way. TL;DR if you want an enjoyable hair experience with someone knowledgeable, educated, and a little bit magic who will do to your hair what you want, need, or dream: CALL TINA PARK!
