Franchesca did an amazing job on my daughter's highlights and style. She achieved the perfect color correction from box-dye black to red, which my daughter loves. Plus, the styling was amazing. It was great, Indeed. I highly recommend it.

Took my 3 year old here for a cut and while it was a fine cut, $80 is insane for a child’s hair cut.

I have been coming to this salon for years but unfortunately will not be coming back. I love the neighborhood and the prices are good- but the service has ranged from good to mediocre. The last time I went my stylist rudely insisted that I didn’t have an appointment. I had made it on online a week prior and had checked in with the receptionist. But she kept saying that I didn’t have one. The receptionist confirmed that I did, so she took me but didn’t apologize and quickly cut my hair without much attention to detail. I paid for the cut and left a tip but knew I wouldn’t be coming back.

This is my second time coming to this hair salon to get a blow dry. The first time was alright. So, I decided to give it a second chance. The hairstylist that attended me said that my hair “was the challenge of the day” for her, because I have very curly hair. She kept insisting on using a flatiron to straighten it. I kept telling her no. She looked mad because she had to deal with my hair. Not only that they don’t wash your hair properly. Dandruff was falling while blow drying my hair.

Dvir gave me the cutest cut. I asked for Amelie and he delivered. First 3 pics are from the day after my cut and I did no styling! Other pics are Dvir in action! The salon is such a neighborhood gem, the staff is very friendly and professional. Dvir is very talented and you can tell he loves what he does. This salon knows how to make you feel beautiful.

I've been going to Dvir Salon for at least ten years. I go primarily for cuts - and blowouts on a regular basis - and am unfailingly pleased with the results. I typically make appointments with Naho or Mayu, but have also used Dvir, Don and Serpil with equally excellent results. My hair is somewhat coarse and thick and not always amenable to the stylists' brush and dryer - but they have always managed to provide a great look. The Salon itself is clean, bright and always has an upbeat vibe. The stylists and other personnel, are very professional, pleasant and accommodating. Best hair salon in the neighborhood - with an international cast - just like Brooklyn!!

I had a bridal hair/make up trial here and it was not the best experience. I came in with pictures of an up do with a braid and was told immediately the braid was a "no" with no explanation other than "its too much". While I was getting my make up done the person who did my hair came over and said "I will see you on ---" and said my wedding date. The make up seemed ok during application but once she had finished she pointed out my grey hairs asking what I was planning to do with them and then asked what else I would be doing to prep for my wedding and asked specifically if I would be dieting.

I got a great cut from a man whose name I unfortunately don't remember. He did not chat, and took a lot less time than a normal cut, and it's the best cut I've ever had. It air drys perfectly.

I just got my haircut done at Dvir for the first time because the reviews were very good. The moment I walked in the stylist was rude. He argued with me for about five minutes about the haircut I wanted. We compromised on a starting point and then when he was done I stated that I still wanted the look I had spoken about at the beginning. He told me, okay, I’ll wash your hair and then do it. Once he washed my hair he rushed me back over to the chair and told me that I would have to pay before he finished my hair because it was the end of the night…? My appointment was at 6:45 and there were several other people there still being worked on and one person waiting. He made modifications to the cut but still did not complete the layers that I asked for because he repeatedly reminded me that my hair was too thin. I had already stated that I knew that but wanted to do it anyways for more volume and have previously had the same haircut done, well. Once he was done cutting he half heartedly blew out my hair… after it was completely dry because he already used a square hard backed brush to blow dry it. Said he’s done and walked away without saying another word. I guess he was done with me? I’ve never had such an aggressive haircut in my life.

had this salon recommended to me in a neighborhood facebook group. i made an appointment online with no one specific, ended up being booked with Meghan. i’ve seen her a few times now and she’s amazing. i give her vague descriptions of what kind of cut i want, (because i somehow never know what i actually want) and show her 10 inspo pics that all look different, and somehow she always nails it. the rest of the staff is also very warm and welcoming.definitely recommend this place for a great neighborhood salon.
