I've never had long hair before. I grew my hair out during the pandemic. I finally, 5 years later, decided to do more. I researched a bunch of places and got a ton of recommendations. I was very attached to my hair, as unkempt and bad as it was...it was mine. It was my first foray into long hair. I needed someone who would respect that while bringing me to the next level. Iz/Isabel not only met that mark, but exceeded it. They accepted all my hang ups, all my restrictions, and made me feel so welcome. They appealed to my engineering side by explaining the chemistry like I was a colleague and lent me a glass of water like a child. After I left I felt like a God, and I have gotten more comments on my hair in the last 2 days than I had in two years. And that's saying something because my hair was long and I'd gotten a lot of comments about it lately. Dye by the sword did an amazing job and I'm extremely happy they were my first experience with luxury hair care.

They did me so good! I adore my new look, and the conversation is impeccable! Definitely not the intimidating atmosphere that makes you nervous to make requests, and i never feel rushed here. Such a wonderful salon

Literally every time I go, I come out with the most insanely gender euphoric feelings. Iz does amazing with my crazy ginger/blonde hair and it always looks perfect!
