This is such a lovely place! They began my appointment the second I arrived, the hair wash was great, hair dye has lasted, and blow dry turned out just the way I wanted. They are all such kind individuals, and I most definitely will return.

Awful. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. She completely chopped my hair, different on both sides. She even still expected me to pay her $48. Very inexperienced at cutting hair. I had to get up and leave and go to Jean-Claude Biguine and have them fix it. Kim did an amazing job with what she had to work with. Stay far away from this place!

Gary has been cutting my hair for some 10 years now, he is an excellent hairstylist and very professional. E&N has recently moved to a new location on 3rd Avenue and its a great spot! Great people, great location and great prices, what more can you ask for.

I truly love this place!!! A couple of years ago I walked in with a haircut disaster, it was so bad. Gary, who is now my permanent stylist, was so sincere and caring, he fixed my hair and showed me ways to style my new cut. There is no where else is rather go, and no one else I trust my hair with. This salon and Gary are fantastic!!!

Natasha is taking care of my hair for many years already. And I have to say to all women who afraid that hair will not grow after haircut or coloring will ruin hair or you will get haircut you never wanted - this is not the place! At E&N you will get the best service and you wil feel and look beautiful! If you are not decisive on how you want to style your hair or which haircut to get, Natasha will give you excellent advice. Great Place, great Service! It's nice that they had time for me even without an appointment. Gary really knows the customer's hair-needs. If I ever need another haircut during my stay in NYC, I sure know where to go from now on.

I went here for a wedding blow out and a new stylish haircut--- I have never seen my hair or myself look so incredible! Phenomenal job!!!!! No frills, but all quality and skill. Amazing prices for NYC. They really listen and make your vision a reality! I am officially becoming a regular. Natasha gave me the best haircut of my life!

Went in to get a haircut, had an appoint for 6 didn't give me hair cut till 6:30. Then he gave me a bald spot and tried telling me I had a scar there as if I wouldn't have known about my whole life.

E & N Salon is an awesome midtown hair spot! Maritza is great! She always does a great job with my color - this time just highlights, but in the past, highlights and low lights - very precise and neat with perfect, tiny sections and natural looking results. The prices are reasonable for the tri-state area, and pretty well priced for Manhattan. Maritza works with my schedule to get me in on short notice. This salon is clean, bright, and the team working is professional. I will keep going to Martiza. Highly recommended for a nice cut and great color work!

Gary has been cutting my hair for 15 years. I regularly receive compliments on my hair. He is a very nice guy and is always flexible and accommodating when arranging an appointment. I would highly recommend him.

I'm a flight attendant and on a recent lay over in New York I went to E&N Hair Salon where I met Gary, the only person I will ever let cut my hair again. Unlike most hair cutters who make it clear that their main objective is to finish and get their money Gary sat down with me for fifteen minutes and listened to intently as I described the problem I've been having getting my hair cut the way I want it to be cut. I could tell he really wanted to cut my hair the way that I have been trying to get it cut. He very carefully walked me trough the whole cut explaining what he was doing every step of the way. I couldn't believe it when he was finished, I finally had my cut the way I wanted it. Thank you Gary for your patience, professionalism and understanding, this is one very happy flight attendant. I've been going here since when they were at their old location on 48th Street. I have nothing but good things to say, very reasonable costs, they spend time on your hair and understand what you want done. They are also very pleasant people and I'm always a happy customer when I leave the shop.

E and N Salon is the best place to get your haircut in New York City, no questions asked. I am a 35 year old man and I have tried an assortment of places from barber shops to high end salons. No service, none, can compete with that of E and N. Natasha cuts my hair and does a superb job each and everytime, I leave satisfied, more confident and handsome after a quick 20 minute cut. For anyone who likes looking good, this is the place for you. Don't listen to the haters below.

I was referred to E&N Hair Salon during Summer 2009, and have been going there ever since. I absolutely love the professional and friendly staff; Gary always makes me laugh, and I can talk to Natasha about anything. Natasha always works her magic on my hair, and it always comes out sexy and sophisticated. I wish I could have her do my hair every morning! I am so glad I have such a hair stylist and I strongly recommend E&N Hair Salon to everyone.

Time to update my review. Bobby has been doing my hair for 17 years. He is beyond amazing. Two stories: 1. My best friend arrived in town, her hair was a mess. I called Bobby and got her an appointment; my friend called once Bobby had finished her hair. We agreed to meet on the street corner; once there I heard my name called but did not see who was calling. Then I saw Nancy. She was beautiful. She had been a teen model and she looked ready to stroll the catwalk again! 2. My sister’s 17 year old daughter arrived in town with hair hard to described, her roots, chestnut brown were 4 ½” grown out, from there blond hair with orange strands for the next 4” ,then, henna red tips. True mess of a mess. I hoped Bobby wouldn’t end our friendship over something like this, I sent a nightmare of a “hair-not” Well, big surprise yet no surprise at all. The 17 year old girl that looked ready for re-hab looked like she was ready for the Red Carpet!! She was beautiful. Her hair was cut, styled and feathered to look elegant and hip. He truly made a masterpiece from the worst bedhead ever!
