Found this place on google. I was greeted immediately and only waited 10 minutes for the technician. The nail technician did a 45 minute shellac manicure. She was amazing! Detailed and allowed me time to choose the color. No rush at all

It was first time here & let me tell you it was worth every penny! I did not have an appointment & just walked in. I was greeted & taken care of right away. While I was waiting for a nail tech, I choose my color & was put in the spa chair for my pedi. My nail tech took her time with my gel mani & gel pedi. The nail salon is clean & tidy. I am definitely coming back & making an appointment.

The salon is new and the space is modern and clean. I was surprised that they were able to see me right away for a pedicure. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Full pedicure with shellac, foot and leg massage for a very reasonable price.

Went there last Friday for the 1st time and by Wednesday this week my nails were jagged, she tore my cuticles up and my white toe polish is turning orange/brown!! Very disappointed and pissed!!

I did not like the hairstylists she had a bad attitude and made my hair uneven , burnt me with the hair blowdryer and charged for everything.

My daughter and I come in every couple of weeks to have our nails done and we always enjoy the service and atmosphere. They are always up for great conversations and always know how to liven my day up, all while remaining professional. We highly recommend Kevin Nails 2.

This is place is incredible! They have such a wonderful staff that makes you feel so welcome. My sister and I came in and had a manicure and pedicure. We felt so relaxed and the place was extremely clean with a beautiful. The nail technicians did an amazing job. They took their time and did not rush.

My nails have always been weak and brittle and I can only get manicure for a week and a half, but they have helped my nails become strong and I see had every 3 weeks with no problems. She always makes them beautiful and even helps me find the best shape for my hands.

This nail salon is nice. I use it as my backup salon, when time does not allow me to make it to Bkadensburg to my regular salon. It used to have a lot of customers, the last 4 times that I stopped by, it was only myself and maybe one other customer. My visit on 06/11/2024 for a pedicure was the same way. No customers except me. The nail tech Vicky no longer works there. Therefore, I was placed with a new young girl who barely spoke English. She was very rough She stuck the nail utensil deep into my skin, I yelled out "Ouch". She never said Sorry. Before the service started she asked me which pedicure did I want, I pointed to the $35 one. It was first in her pictures catalog. Long story short, after the service was complete, she rang me up for $55. I was shocked and not happy. Suddenly she could speak clear English. She asked for a tip. Mind you I always give $5-$10 for a tip. It just depends on the service. My toenail is still aching from her cutting it too short as well as digging down with that utensil. I had to wear open toe shoes. That was my last time being a customer there. The service was $35 plus $5 for a design. The design of lines is not cute. Still don't understand why I was charged $55. Whatever. They got their last $55 from me. I will never ever go there again.

I’ve been coming to Kevin 2 Nails for about a year now, and Billy has been my go to from day one! I’ve brought him so many different and intricate designs, and he never fails me; He even puts his own spin to the designs I choose. I’m very particular about the shape of my nails, but I never have to worry because he always delivers! I’d recommend his services to anyone (just don’t take my appointment time 🤣🤣).

*update* Let me make it clear that the response from the owner is their perspective which they are entitled to. But the fact that they wanna sit there and point fingers like my review was not accurate from MY perspective is very telling of this business. Changing my review to 1 star due to the snarky and unprofessional response given by what i assume was the girl who worked on me for an hour and still had someone else finish cause she had no idea what she was doing. Not a single thing i said was incorrect, they did in fact say the shape was wrong. And let me mention I didn’t even complain when the girl cut my cuticles and literally cut skin. Why was the hand piece on my skin? Shouldn’t you be filing the mail? But you wanna sit there and complain that I wasn’t still? When does a nail salon claim to not do design on refill just cause it was done somewhere else? Just say you lack the skills girl. Honesty is the best policy. This business seems unprofessional, money hungry, and rude. Save your money and go anywhere else with more then 1 skilled tech. *update* I am giving a two star because I appreciate them fitting me in and I appreciate that they were open late. Here is what I don’t appreciate, I was eight minutes late to the appointment but they were called and they were made aware that I would be running late. I waited for 20 minutes. I don’t think eight minutes can justify having me wait for 20 minutes even after scheduling an appointment. The tech who was working on me could not do any type of design! It’s almost as if all she does is manicures and no design. She was struggling with the acrylic application on my REFILL. And I didn’t really like how she kept trying to talk bad about the work my last tech did. I don’t think it’s very honorable for someone to put someone else down in order to make them selves seem better. Let your skills do the talking. The price was way too much for a filling. I could have gone somewhere else and done a new set for what I paid for. Probably less. They charged $45 for the refill and an additional $25 for design. The crazy thing is o had to settle on the design because of the lack of co offense in my tech and someone else ended up doing the design!! It took them a total of nearly 2 hours to finish! I personally will not be returning. I live in Baltimore and tried them out since my original tech is in chillum, but I’ll probably stick with my original tech. He’s way nicer and less pricey, and I personally had no issue with his work. I really didn’t like how the girl kept trying to say that my nails were messed up, how the shape was wrong. Like….you’re being messy. YOU CANT EVEN APPLY ACRYLIC OR DO DESIGN, WHO ARE YOU TO TALK?!

Horrible. My right hand nails are way longer than my left. It looks like two different people did my nails. Plus I have polish on my hands and fingers. Wont go ever again

I didn't get her name but very very disgusting attitude of the very skinny associate who did my gel pedicure and attempted to do my gel polish change. She did not get the design for my big toe at all. I shut up about that. Then, when it came to my polish change, told me to pick the design I wanted from online. I did and I showed her various ones and asked her if she could do it. She told me that the designs are all powder, even the images from their Instagram page. With designs I know you can also pick different colors with gel and get the look. I have had designs before! She then told me to go and look for the color that she doesn't have time she has other appointments after me. I told her to wipe off all she had started and just charge me for my pedicure. All I wanted were cute nails for my birthday this Sunday. I'm walking out of here now with just plain acrylic nails. She was nasty and they will not have my business in the future. Don't go here if you're looking for great service or great designs. Their business is slow and dwindling. I thought I would patronize them and gain a new nail salon in the process. 'Modo Nails' it is.

I wasn't pleased with the service provided, I went on a weekday, and the place was empty, so I was expecting a better treatment. I got a gel manicure and pedicure, and the technique was very poor. the gel came off in less than 3 days. honestly, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

If I could give this place 1star I would. The customer service was Terrible here!! Not to mention they use an illegal substance on my nails causing my nails to burn so bad during application. He pulls out some spray bottle and starts spraying my nails. (I’m guessing he knows the side effects of this product). I’m done with these chop shops my nails are horrible don’t come here!!!!

This place is going down. The older adults have not been there and the kids are running the shop. The new boy with the mushroom cut is very rude. He talks about the customers and think people don’t understand him. The girl with the glasses is a little rude too. I requested that another person do my nails and she started talking in her language and took extra long to get to me. My nails and the polish haven’t lasted since they’ve been working there. I would STAY AWAY from here until the older people come back, if they’re coming back. I’m also going to make a complaint on the BBB website too.

Upsetting experience. I was coming in hoping for an ombré (reference photo added) but left with crooked nails, bleeding cuticles and had to settle with one color because the ombré choice was too difficult to achieve. The gentleman attending to me didn’t want to fix when I brought to his attention how crooked one looked and said “Don’t worry” after he laid out the acrylic base he pulled out the air brush to achieve the ombré only to tell me the base was too dark for the lighter color. I wished he told me he couldn’t do it after I showed reference photos so I didn’t have to waste my time and money.
