Michi is super talented and sweet. I had such a pleasant experience at her salon, and I love my new color!! She uses all organic products and my hair feels so much healthier then when I came in. Can’t recommend her enough ¨̮.

I had my hair cut with Setsuko after over 2 years of cutting my own hair (pandemic self hair cuts!)and she did an absolutely fabulous job layering my hair, recovering mu hair from lack of professional haircuts and keeping the length. Setsuko takes great time and attention with any haircut and the new space is beautiful. Setsuko will be my stylist forever !

I’m thrilled to have found my new go to stylist. Michiko’s skill is unparalleled, extremely precise, and she really cares to listen to your opinion. Not to mention her salon is so relaxing and calming - I wish all other haircut experiences could be this fab. 10/10 recommend.

Michi is incredible. I came to her first the first time when another colorist had turned my hair orange. She fixed my color to a beautiful blond/highlights and I would never think of seeing anyone else! She is kind and professional. I consistently get compliments on my highlights when I get blowouts, so you know is great!

Michi is amazing. My experience at Earth Salon was exceptional. This was my first cut since the pandemic and I was so pleasantly surprised how seamless, professional, clean, and safe Earth Salon is. Michi is extremely receptive in listening to what you are and are not looking to achieve, I absolutely love my cut. She is also incredibly knowledgable about hair texture, truly an artist in her craft. I was so happy with my cut that I scheduled to have my hair colored to a light brown balayage with her the next day. I LOVE how subtle and beautiful it came out. Michi's technique and precision was honestly unlike any stylist I've experienced. I will definitely return to her and highly recommend her salon and services!

Earth hair salon is a brand new, loft-like space with lots of natural light and spare decor with a calming, soft zen like quality. You will instantly feel relaxed and pampered. Michiko is an artist - she has creative ideas but her manner is sensitive and respectful. She gives you and your hair her full attention always .... and the results speak for themselves. Highly recommended.

Michi is great, was referred to her and have been going to her for several years in Tribeca, and following her now to Dumbo. Have gotten great cuts and service, and I’m overly picky. Not ridiculously priced like the high end places, but not a factory like the chain places. As a guy with a healthy widows peak, she knows how to style men’s hair no matter what you have up top.

Michi is, hands down, the best stylist. She totally understands my hair and always gives me a great haircut. Her new space, Earth Hair Salon, is perfectly located, bright and sunny, and totally relaxing. It makes getting a haircut a great experience.
