I was skeptical at first due to the mixed reviews. However, I’m glad I gave them a try! They were very professional and CLEAN! I got there early (before opening), and got to see that they clean when opening and sanitize. I am not well versed in the braiding terminology (I’ve usually had a regular person that took care of my needs that knew what I was looking for). They were very patient and explained everything! I did not have the issues that others claimed to have had with them taking walk-in’s over appointments. Any walk-in that came in, they (very politely) let them know there were appointments ahead of them and that they’d have to wait and gave them an estimate of how long. They were fast and efficient. I will definitely be going back!

Hospitalist was great. Ladies were very welcoming and chatty. Did not know they did not accept card payment cos it was my first time. But they trusted me to go withdrawal from a nearby ATM for payment. Would definitely visit again and recommend.

I would never go back to this place. They were agruging and fighting. Then the girl got so mad she passed out. It took 7 and half hours for my hair it never took anymore this long. Then after closing time they had 4 people in my hair pulling it in every direction. Didn't even offer a discount for my time wasted because of their drama. Unprofessional I will stick to the west African women who respect your time.

I wouldn’t go here again. I was told it would take 2 hours to do braids in my hair and it took 4. It was almost closing time so they completely rushed my hair and didn’t put rubber bands in some braids. My hair quickly unraveled as soon as I got home and braids were all different sizes. Some braids were big and some were small. I payed over $100 for a half a** job.

A little integrity needs to be used when they incorrectly do a braid, (mess it up!), & it should be immediately taken down and redone vs hoping (or not caring), it's not noticed. I have yet to go there and not get home and find braids that were knotted in the braid sequence and left in my hair vs redone. Sometimes the hair gets tangled while braiding, your own hair and/or the add-in hair - either way - REDO THE BRAID!!! You're charging enough money not to get service that's expected of you (PROFESSIONAL)

I made a 10:30 a.m. appointment for my three girls. I had specifically requested by phone that they would have three people there to do my kids hair as we were getting box braids and I didn't want it to have to be a whole day ordeal. This was confirmed, but when I got there I was told that there were three people there but none of them will be available to do my kids hair. When I got there they were not open till almost 11am. I confirmed our appointment was on their books. However they insisted on taking 2 walk-in clients and told me it was up to me if I wanted to wait. Right after I spoke to the lady who appeared to own the place a styling chair was pulled up close to us and I thought this was for my daughter. I told my daughter to go sit down thinking that they would finally get started on our hairs at this time. The lady then said no it was for somebody else will have just walked in. I kept trying to talk to them but they just ignored me apparently because they did not understand what I was saying or I didn't speak their language. There was clearly an ethnic bias and I wouldn't go there if you're not from their country or cannot speak the language. Also be prepared to understand that even calling two weeks ahead to make an appointment means absolutely nothing! they will first see those people they know and prefer over scheduled appointments. I wish they had not wasted my time and just told me from the get-go that they had their regular clients present and didn't want to do anybody else's hair.
