DO NOT LET THIS MAN CUT YOUR HAIR! I went in, showed a pic of what I wanted, and the guy (Felix) butchered my hair, leaving it to look like peanut from Jeff Dunham. He had guaranteed he could do what was shown in the picture but it was a total lie. It was a fade with curls at the top. There was no fade and he cut to my scalp in the sides, trimmed the top to different lengths and flattened it after perming the hair.... a complete disaster!! If you cannot do a hairstyle just admit your limitations!!! I had to ask my husband to shave my head days later after I couldn't live with it anymore! Even getting my money back wouldn't correct this situation he put me in! The salon is clean but the service scars forever!! I tipped out of the niceness I am cursed with but I completely regret ever going there!

I see one and only review was taken down. Went for color Felix was very friendly but, permanent color didn't last two weeks and my roots were already showing. $50 plus tip was not worth it. Never went back because when I called him about the color gone from my roots, he said my hair must grow fast..SMH no my hair doesn't grow fast like that. That's why I do color myself and my roots don't show for 3 1/2 to 4 wks. I just thought I'd give shop of my color a try since I moved here. I won't try there again. Thank you!!!

UPDATE: I came back earlier this week for an appointment with Teresa to get crochet braids done. I am happy to say the quality of care my hair received was a totally different experience than my last time. I was unable to wash and blow dry my hair before the appointment but Teresa offered to do it with no judgement. The crochets turned out beautiful and caused me no pain. It was a joy to return and have a great experience. ----- ORIGINAL: I wanted to give this place a shot as I really needed some help with deep conditioning my hair. The stylists were nice, but unfortunately the previous comment about detangling the hair from the root is accurate. My hair was tugged and pulled to the point where I asked to stop the process 2/3 of the way through. When I got home I saw a good amount of breakage and had to redo my normal wash day routine from the start - which I was hoping to avoid having to do myself. This is a really convenient location and I would love to go back if there is a way to handle my hair with a little more respect.

Caution, Felix was the stylist i went to. I went to have my hair cut (shadow faded, leaving my curly natural top) and my bleach job touched up. My hair was bleached platinum white and I will now have to cut off my curly top as I am in the military and my hair is overprocessed and damaged. I was put under the dryer with Bleach in my hair. No petroleum base was applied around the edges nor in my scalp prior to Bleach being applied after being cut (it burned). I was placed under the dryer with the bleach in my hair (huge no-go, especially for 4b texture hair). After washing out the bleach he was only going to apply deep conditioner. I asked about toner and that is the only reason toner was applied and I was placed back under the dryer with toner in my hair (also a no-go). Which caused my hair to not only turn white but it is now extremely dry and brittle i have tried deep conditioning and adding leave in conditioner with moisturizing creme. To no avail my hair is still shedding and as dry as can be. Believe the other reviews the brushing and combing was rough, and I feel like my service was being rushed. My Fade was not faded correctly. I paid for my service but I didn't tip because I was disappointed to say the least will not be going back. I will just do my own hair from here on out.

Affordable; but i think they're focused on the right things: healthy hair care, efficiency, and customer service. My daughter really loved getting her hair done ; she did a very nice (and gentle) job when conditioning and styling her hair.

Asked Felix to curl my hair in a style. Didn’t use the right size curling iron the flat iron was too big for my hair. I could tell by the way he was parting my hair he didn’t know what he was doing. Will never go back to him again.

Does not know how to properly comb or blow dry hair. More of a yanking and pulling instead, not a good hair practice.

I've been a customer for over 10 years now and I've always gotten great service. My hair was done the way l wanted it. Always friendly and courteous. Alma and Felix are great at what they do. I would recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for a great shop.

He will take care of you and do anything to your hair to the best way it can look . He can do it all basically so he’s definitely someone you wanna get your hair done by

⚠️CAUTION⚠️ Felix is dangerous, lazy, and aggressive. Doesn’t know how to brush hair, he starts at the root and uses BRUTE FORCE to rip the hair out. Lazy in applying Vaseline so I got chemical burns all over my scalp. Scrapes, scratches, and splashes my face, scalp, and ears washing out the product. Scratches my scalp and ears aggressively with the hair dryer. Runs the hot comb down my scalp multiple times over skin that’s already burned. Over all extremely aggressive and not customer oriented. Go here if your idea of self care is getting burned, beat, and concussed…

DONT GO HERE!!!!!! If I could put 0 stars I would. Super unprofessional. They don’t keep their appointments. And they don’t call to cancel appointments either. I show up on time to my appointment and he tells me to come 2 hours later!? I was so disappointed all I wanted was a haircut. Big let down. Never coming back.

It was horrible I had flex as my hair dresser and he bleached my hair platinum grey/white but some parts were still orange instead of him using a toner he bleached it twice and my hair has been breaking ever since this was may 2nd 2021 do not I repeat do not use him
