My husband said my hair was Beetlejuiced, so I needed a haircut. ASAP. I took a chance on Eddie's and Danny delivered! Professional. Courteous. And SKILLED. I was so pleased and impressed with my haircut. Bravo!

Good customer service but not good skills for haircut Before I went to the salon, I already told them my concern. And the hair stylist told me he had experience for more than 20 years. Also when I am arried. Face to face describing how my head shape and what should be noticed also I told him I got the male pageant need to attend. But when he cutting my hair with only Blending Shears. I know this guy got bad skills. == He cut my hair with no skills and really fast and very shock. Thank goodness he is not cut my hair too short so still have some time to grow. Environment :⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Skills: ⭐️⭐️ Price: ⭐️（because of the results)

I ended up with the same plain haircut I usually get at more affordable barber shops. At the end, I tried to discuss with the stylist that this wasn’t what I wanted and that I was hoping for a different better looking style, but I felt rushed, as if the haircut was already finished. I’m sorry, but it wasn’t worth the cost.

Hannah, he’s the one who took care of me. it was my first time to get an air haircut at this hair salon and She was very professional and caring. She understood exactly what I needed. I recommend her strongly. I will remain a faithful customer.

Danny is my go-to guy. I tried quite a few different hair stylists after moving to LA, but I always come back to Danny. He's friendly and handles my Asian hair efficiently (30 mins or under). Well worth what he charges if you're a busy person who doesn't want to sit and chitchat for an hour.

Don is one of the most professional and consistent hairstylist I’ve met. I recently moved to LA from NYC for work and had a few meh experiences at various salons. After going through a few different hairstylists of varying experience and price levels, I was lucky enough to come across Don through his portfolio on the website. I was immediately impressed by his passion and attention to detail as he put me at ease despite my negative past experiences. He took extra time to really listen to my concerns and gave me the most thorough consultation. I’ve since been to Don more than 6 times and once with another stylist (unfortunately due to schedule constraints). I hope Don never leaves LA as long as I’m here! Haha. The best thing I can say about Don is not only his skill as a stylist with both scissors and fades, but most importantly his dedication to his craft and his EQ/communication when interacting with people. Cannot recommend him enough!

Danny is the best! Have been getting my haircut by him consistently for a year now and I’m happy every time. I will say I went to Hannah recently when Danny was out of town and I would say she’s good with scissors but do not get a fade / taper from her.

I love this place! It’s always very nice and clean, and the staff is incredibly polite. My favorite hairstylist, Hannah, did an amazing job cutting my hair for an upcoming photo session. She was flexible with scheduling and truly saved the day. I totally recommend this place!

Wanted a consultation and a nice clean natural looking haircut since I’ve always gone to barbershop growing up and u got exactly what I wanted. Chloe helped me out with very informative information especially explaining to me what my hair needed to reach my hair goal of getting a wolf cut. Price wise it is definitely worth it 👍🤗

Got a bad haircut before coming in to Eddies edition, came in with a hoodie embarrassed of my hair. Don got me right, didn’t make any decisions without asking for permission and opinion. Very detailed work and even bought a texture powder that i applied on today very good service. Walked out the store feeling good about myself and my cut! Looking forward to never having a bad haircut ever again’

Hadn’t had a haircut in like 9 months. It looked like a mess. Don gave me a fresh clean cut with no problem. Great pricing and very knowledgeable hair stylists. Most def going back for the next cut and the next cut and the next cut!

Moved to DTLA this week and was in desperate need of a cut. I found Eddies Edition on google, they had an opening with Hin within the hour. I made the appointment and I am beyond satisfied with the job he did. He was efficient and comfortable, he communicated very well! Definitely made a return customer out of me! Highly recommend Hin, and also the other stylists from the work I saw during my visit! Check them out you won’t regret it!

So I moved to DTLA back in the beginning of the year and spent months trying out different barbershops/salons, looking for a new go-to local barber/stylist. Luckily, I ended up trying out Eddie’s Edition in the Art District and booked Don as a stylist. Honestly, I can’t say enough about my guy Don. My hair is straight, thick, and coarse (I have Asian hair, which isn’t the easiest to cut), and Don has the perfect balance of scissor cut for the top while also still being able to do a proper fade on the side (which is super important to me, as most barbers/stylists are usually better at one or the other). Don is the complete package and a rare find nowadays. I have been going to him for the last 5 months now, and I will continue to do so! Eddie’s Edition in the Art District is a very clean shop with a calming/relaxing atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, and you can check out each stylist’s portfolio online, which can be very helpful on finding one that can cut and style your hair the way you want. They have an online booking system which makes it really easy to book appointments and make any adjustments. Go try out my guy Don, you won’t regret it!

Updating my initial review: I usually book Melvin who provides an excellent haircut. Today, I booked with Don since Melvin wasn't available. Despite initial nerves about changing stylists, Don beat my expectations, delivering precisely what I wanted. I’m beyond happy with Don's haircut, so I'm updating my review in the parking garage, recognizing Eddie’s Edition DTLA as a hidden gem. Highly recommend booking your appointment here.
