Helen is amazing! At most places hot stone is for like 10 minutes and it’s warm. This place did hot stone for most of it and it was HOT. Perfect temperature. Felt like ages I was in there. Had to lie down on the massage table for a while afterwards.

I have been coming to Elan for a long time and always schedule my massages with Nikolaz He is AMAZING !! Not only is he very knowledgeable but he uses many different modalities in his work. I have tried many places in the past but always return to have my massage with Nikolaz. He is the best !!!

I visited this spa during my trip to NYC, and it was a truly relaxing experience. The ambiance was calm and soothing, with gentle music and a serene atmosphere. The massage therapists were very professional, attentive, and customized the massage to my preferences. After the session, I felt completely rejuvenated and stress-free. Highly recommend this spa for anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

The salon was clean and many services were offered, however I felt like they were over priced for the quality of service. For example, I chose the foot relief spa pedicure that was supposed to include a foot massage based on the website description. I didn’t receive a foot massage, maybe one minute on each foot. I probably won’t return because other salons provide massages in their pedicures for a lower price than what I paid. I had a gift card which was nice. I might try their laser treatments but not sure, overall a nice salon but didn’t match description of service.

Got a massage from Nicholas. He's clearly a talented masseuse, but never asked what I wanted or didn't want. He clearly has a developed hour long routine and was going to do that even after I pointedly asked to not have my feet massaged. It felt very disjointed - there were hot stones at times, there were towels, there was foot and hand massage, there was some forced stretching. At no point did he go, hey, that's a big knot there, let's work through that. Maybe I should have been more forceful when I wasn't getting what I wanted, but it's hard to know how much time has passed and what the person is intending when getting a massage. For the price, $140 with tip, I was disappointed.

I am delighted with my experiences at Elan Salon & Day Spa. Making an appointment is simple via online or by calling. I've been particularly happy with my electrolsis. Eliza is thorough in removing hairs and what a difference it has made! I would recommend Eliza for anyone looking for a permanent hair removal solution.

Just came out of here from doing facial that cost $135. This was one of the laziest facials I’ve ever gotten. Extractions were fine but my facialist couldn’t answer questions about what products she was using on my face. The steamer was burning hot and she didn’t know how to fix it. She used cleanex tissues ( same ones you use to blow your nose) to wipe water off my face leaving tissue particles on my face. At the end of the facial she didn’t apply a serum, eye cream or sun screen- just toner and moisturizer. I didn’t leave the facial feeling fresh and rejuvenated. She didn’t help me learn anything new about my skin. This might be a one off experience but I left really disappointed and I do not plan on returning. My partner also got a facial done here at the same time and he was fine with his experience.

This place was so great! Just a little salon, but checks all the great boxes that make a great salon and spa. I bought a package that included a massage, facial, mani, and pedi. All of the services were in the top tier of my experiences, which have been pretty varied with all of the travel I do. Everything was clean, the service and people were welcoming, and they scheduled my services in perfect order to ensure that I could enjoy each. The pricing was very reasonable too, especially for New York. I would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Pretty disappointed with my haircut. First, during the haircut my earring was ripped out of my ear. Second, i was asked if i want to thin my hair and I said no. And then was asked again. I said no again. Third, the hairdresser ended with “I’m sure most people don’t know how to handle your hair” what does that mean. I have pretty curly hair and it’s thick. This was one of worst experiences

The best manicure and pedicure in park slope! Eliza takes such care with her work and I’ve never had better looking nails! I pop for the dazzle dry and last time my manicure went over two weeks without chipping. I won’t be going anywhere else ever again…

Elan salon is amazing. I have had several mani/pedi’s here as well as a couple massages and everything has been exceptional. Angela gives the best manicures I have ever received; a regular manicure lasted without chipping for almost four weeks!! See proof - the hot pink nails photo is after 3.5 weeks, very little chipping. The pale pink / nude nails is the brand new manicure. Can’t recommend this salon enough!

Recently came in to get a facial. The room and atmosphere was excellent. I ended up doing dermaplaning with a gentle glycolic peel. However, all the products that are used for the facial are from Eminence Organic Skin Care. It looks like a good brand, however they have a lot of fragrance additives that ended up being very irritated to my skin. I have relatively sensitive skin and these products were definitely a no go. Something to keep in mind if you are considering a facial. If it wasn’t for the products I would definitely go back.

Fantastic!l I’m beyond satisfied with the service provided by Nini! She did an amazing job on my facial. I felt relaxed and at ease, her hands are healing! She’s very knowledgeable and friendly. Nini was easy to talk to and had great communication with everything she was doing! Left happy and with glowing skin, definitely would go back to her!

Became a customer over COVID when I stopped going to Manhattan regularly. This has become my oasis of self-care. The salon is calming and serene. The technicians and hair stylists are all skilled, warm and professional. Elan is also the only nail salon I know of that uses Dazzle Dry nail polish, which is not a gel, doesn’t chip and doesn’t damage my nails.

Booked a massage through ClassPass and I was not disappointed at all. I had a very relaxing and soothing session that was much needed. I immediately felt lighter and went home in less pain than I was when I first showed up for my appointment. I highly recommend Nikolas!

Elan Salon is a very special place. I have been a client for years, and have always found the staff to be wonderful - kind, professional and accommodating. Julie and the others who work the front desk are always helpful and respectful. I recommend Tanya for mani/pedis, Zina and Andis for hair, Lena for facials - but really, everyone there is great. I highly recommend this salon!

This spot is the best! Been coming for years it’s so hard to find a spot that’s good at so many things. I never really have to wait, it’s always clean and very calming. I have never had a faster or less painful wax than with Eliza she’s a wizard- I barely even know what’s happening and then it’s done. She’s also just a delight. Then the hair!!! Andis is the BEST I always put off getting a haircut, until well past the time I should have gotten one, because I’m super picky and could never find someone who did it well and wasn’t stupid far away. Then I found Andis who has true vision. I will no longer put off my haircuts as long as he’s around 10/10
