I genuinely do not typically leave reviews but as I realize more and more about my hair I'm left more and more unsatisfied. I'm aware of the 7 day policy but unfortunately my hair is so thinned out after this I cannot go have it go fixed. I have gone to this salon before & have never had any issues before. I booked with Devon this time instead. I've gone with her when I went to get my bangs fixed before and they looked beautiful. When I went back and got my bangs redone this time around I showed her the photos of my bangs she had cut previously as a reference photo. She spent over an hour just on my bangs. I'm looking at these bangs and pointing out where they're uneven and she's telling me they're not and that the hair is falling forward (if it's going to keep falling forward because of how my hair sits then you might want to cut to length. it also wasn't falling forward and is apart of the bangs) I take her word for it because she's the stylist and maybe I'm not truly seeing what she is. She knows what she's doing, this is her job and I'll respect that. Until I got home and the first thing told to me was that my bangs were uneven. I mean I didn't even have to ask, it was genuinely obvious. Now this isn't to say that she didn't try and adjust it for me, she did. But she'd fix the right and then it would still be uneven so she'd cut the left and repeat. After twice of that I honestly just stayed quiet because they were getting too short. I'm lucky my hairs dyed black because it just looks like a grown out goth-esc micro bang. I'll just keep them to the side and out of sight till they grow out, they're too short to be fixed now anyways. whatever But what really bothers me is the rest of my hair. I asked for a wolfcut which I get every single time since I was 14. I know what a wolf cut is and what it's supposed to be like, even on my straight hair. I showed her my reference photos and even photos of what it looks like on me. She barely even looked at them. If I'm being so honest she didn't pay a lot of attention to me in her chair. I don't mean that she wasn't consistently working or that she wasn't kind because she was. But that she was in ways dismissive, like when my bangs were uneven and she was disagreeing with what turned out to be plainly obvious. When I showed her my reference photos and I asked for my typical wolf cut I also said I wanted more layers. I remember exactly saying "I want a wolf cut times two". Now at the end I realized it didn't look quite right but wasn't sure if it was the bangs or if I was being too nitpicky. But I did keep mentioning how it wasn't giving me that grunge ruffled look which I know for a fact my hair can do a certain extent even with my hair type and color. I've had this same hairstyle and color for years. I knew it didn't look right and her alongside another stylist kept telling me I can't achieve that goal with how thin and fine my hair is. My hair isn't usually thin at all. The second stylist did try. Her name was Scotland and she was great. She did the front pieces of my hair as an example for Devon of what to do. When she handed the tools back Devon she didn't finish it, something I missed in the moment. She just let me out of the chair and said we were done. Briefly looking at it I saw the front Scotland had done and it looked more right. Getting up I saw all the hair on the floor (she was legit slipping on it) which I figured would be a lot from my length and all the extra layers she was supposed to have cut. Nope... After leaving (and tipping 50% for all her extra time because I felt like an inconvenience) I realize I only have one layer on a haircut that I usually have 2+ on. On top of that I LITERALLY asked more layers. Now my hair is so thin, way more than when I have 3+ layers; kind of thin I sobbed for 3 hours over. Generally this salon is great and Devon has been for me before. But I could tell what I asked for wasn't her preferred style and it reflected in her service and capabilities, just don't go to her for alternative style cuts.

I have been seeing Devon for years now. Since the pandemic and once my son was ready to have a haircut, we took him to two other people, and I wasn’t satisfied. I brought him in to see Devon and she was so bubbly and kept my son engaged. I have always trusted her with my hair and all the different ways I’ve wanted to try. She always has taken time to wash my hair and really consider my concerns. I have always been happy and told her I don’t know what I’ll do when the time comes for her to retire.

I love my color and cut! I have been a client of Jennae’s for years. She does amazing work. I am so purchased a soy candle as a gift. They are a nice addition to the shopping wall in the salon. Great Job ladies!

Devon has been my hair stylist for years. She’s the best. My curly hair was unhealthy until I started seeing Devon. Now she’s also doing permanent jewelry. My anklet has been the happy focus all afternoon. It was quick painless and she communicated the whole time about how I wanted it placed and how loose or tight it needed to be.

I really like this hair salon. The people are so nice and caring. They listen and talk with you so that you get what you want. The salon is clean and decorated very well. I highly recommend giving them a try. I have been to a couple and they have all done a great job.

Devon did a phenomenal curly cut for me as a first time client. She listened to my hair concerns, used products safe for my sensitive skin, and took her time walking me through the styling process. Not once did I feel pressured to buy anything which is so refreshing compared to other salons. My hair has not looked this good in years, and the cut looks great even on product free “lazy” hair days. I will absolutely be getting another cut by Devon!

I've been going here for a few years. I took my 2 toddlers yesterday and they did great! They've only been to Great Clips or I've cut their hair at home with clippers. The staff is so friendly, the space is decorated really cute, I think it's a great place for all your hair needs.
