As a consumer it's important to leave good and bad reviews. I've been getting my nails done for many years. I thought is was odd, I was the only person here during a Saturday afternoon. When I went to pay, I understood why. I had the French dip polish change and I was floored when they charged me $70 dollars. I had to confirm this twice, I thought I heard her wrong. NOPE! She said it was because they used 2 colors. Never ever elsewhere have i been charged this amount for French dip polish change. Lesson learned. Be suspicious if a nail shop is not willing to post their prices. BEWARE.

This shop is awesome. When I leave there, my feet and hands feel great. The staff really are kind and take their time to do a great job. Their prices are very reasonable and I never feel that they are rushing to complete my service. I highly recommend this shop. They are very professional.

Yesterday my Mom and I, last minute decided to get our nails done for the end of the year. We were looking around and found Elegant nails! Great reviews, and good and long business history, and amazing nail art on their website. We called for two mani and pedis and they told us they could fit us in! I was super thankful and excited, but also extremely indecisive until the very end about what to do with my nails. The service was a 10/10 and I LOVE my nails so much! Me and my mom are for sure going to be coming again:)

I can’t recommend Elegant Nails in Oro Valley enough! Lien is an exceptional nail technician who truly goes above and beyond. I really appreciate the flexibility in scheduling; I’ve never had to wait past my appointment time. Lien takes extra care of my sensitive nail beds, ensuring I’m comfortable throughout the process. Her skill in applying nail dip is unmatched—my nails always look fabulous! Not only is Lien talented, but she’s also incredibly kind and fun to chat with. No one does it better! Hands down the best in Oro Valley. Thank you, Lien, for your excellent service!

First time I went there everyone was very friendly, nails looked great! - although I had a chip and shine dulling less than a week later. The man who tried to “fix” the chip didn’t seem to know what he was doing. Second time in, same lady barely communicated, which is okay in general as I was tired myself. When she was about to remove gel polish from my natural nails I politely asked her if she would please not use the drill they use to begin removing the polish (it is awful for nails and I had a few people in the past either put a divot in my nail or cause terrible pain and burning). She didn’t say sure! No problem! She said she uses both (a drill and a nail file). Um okay. She didn’t end up using the drill but I believe she didn’t think I should have had a say on the drill issue at all. As she was putting an off white polish on there was a little piece of something hanging off the edge of one nail and I pointed it out so she could remove it (it was a hair or a little glob of polish - not sure). She must not have seen it but said she was going to do another coat. I said no that wasn’t it and tried to show her again and that’s when she angrily snapped at me that she’s going to put another coat on!! I didn’t misunderstand her but she definitely misunderstood me (btw she speaks beautiful English). She must have thought I was upset because there was nail still showing through the white polish and I was telling her to fix that. I WAS NOT. Once she snapped at me over something I wasn’t even talking about, I had had it. I will not be spoken to so harshly when I hadn’t said or done anything to warrant it. Anyway the polish job is very lumpy so I’ll have to go to another salon to have them redo my nails and I just got them done. So disappointing. Won’t support businesses who don’t practice good customer service or professionalism.

Had a pleasant experience, the owner was lovely and offered us drinks while we waited. Nail tech, he did an amazing job on my dip manicure. went with my sister and mom and they provided excellent service

I have had a hard time finding a nail salon that I wanted to go back to after the first visit....until I have gone here. They call you by your first name, are welcoming and did a fantastic job! This is my new nail salon!

I am very disappointed in the shop. I came to have my nails done today and the cashier pulled a fast one on me. I gave her cash and she made change from it for me and when I got to my car, I realized that I had left, the manicurist a $10 tip which was more than I had planned. I am an elderly person and I feel that I was taken advantage of. I will not return here and I don’t recommend it.

I don’t like to be a negative person, but unfortunately I will not be returning to this salon. I was a new customer and was not informed of extra costs that occurred. When I walked in, I was walking over to the wall to pick out polish and the lady said no I needed to pick out a color out of a book which was $15 more but I was not informed. When I sat down the lady that did my pedicure asked which service I wanted and I pointed at the $40 one. But when I went up to the counter to pay later, I was charged the extra $15. I am from Colorado and I got pedicures all the time and this was double the price of what I was used to already. And then to my surprise, I was charged for $15 more. Also, being a brand new customer, I was given a lady that apparently was a new trainee because the owner or the manager kept coming over and correcting her when she was painting my nails. if you want a returning customer, you probably shouldn’t give them the new trainee for the first time, although this lady was super nice . She did a mediocre job. The main reason I get pedicures is to soften my heels because they get hard and crack and they are still hard and cracked and not soft at all. She barely scrubbed my heels. So overall I was very disappointed in the service and did not appreciate the hidden costs. All the staff were very friendly, but not very informative and very hard to understand. So unfortunately, I will not be returning, which is a bummer because it was very close to my house. When I got home and looked at my toes closer it was painted very poorly.

I got the deluxe pedicure with gel nail polish with a nail design! The experience was fantastic! The hot towels and scrub were great, but the paraffin wax was perfect to help my feet look good for the summer. I was welcomed warmly by my name (I made an appointment and it was my first time there). Calm atmosphere and great nail polish selection! Definitely recommend!

I have been coming to this nail Salon for almost two years. Today I broke one nail and needed fills. I always call last minute and Lynn was able to get me in right away and we decided to do a Pinterest find that I had found for summer!! I think she did an amazing job and I LOVE THEM!!! I chose Elegant Nails on a recommendation. I was not disappointed. The service and attention to detail was outstanding. The shop is clean and organized, they have a large selection of colors. The staff is kind, attentive, and professional. We will be going back for sure!

I was about to leave for my appointment and they called saying they over booked themselves and asked if I’d come in an hour later. I had no problem with that, but the person who was supposed to do my nails still didn’t and the person who did my nails didn’t know what he was doing. He held up a nail polish bottle a few times to see if it was the right thing to use. I was looking forward to having my nails done here because I’d heard good things. But I left with a poorly done dip gel manicure with gel on my skin on multiple fingers. :( now they are barely grown out and catching on everything
