I brought a matted mess to Tia and she did a complete transformation on my hair. I was convinced that I was going to leave nearly bald. Tia did a consultation and took the time using different products and methods to detangle my hair. While I did lose my length the hair that I have left is very healthy. She empowers her clients and renews their confidence in themselves. I live about 40 minutes away and Tia is well worth the drive and I will continue to trust her with my hair care from now on. I look forward to growing back healthy hair thanks to Tia!

I am new to the area and I found a 💎 gem of a hair stylist. I elegant Styles salon is professional and personable. My hair appointment was spot on no waiting around with people lines up under dryers. Tia is awesome and her shop was warm and inviting. I usually don’t like going to get my hair done but I really enjoyed the vibe and people in the shop. Last but not least she did a bang up job on my hair great cut and color. I highly recommend 💙

Although my appointment was a couple of weeks ago , I would like to take this time to thank Tia for the time, patience and expertise used to examine my hair. At that time she stated that I had split ends which needed to be evened out before any growth would set in. After the trim and products to use at home I have seen strength and growth. Ms. Tia is an outstanding beautician. Ms. Tia is a rare gem in our community, especially in an era of Instagram hairstylists. As a result of her knowledge of ethnic hair and professionalism, my strands have been brought back to life. She produces a high standard of quality and an environment we have been lacking in the health hair care industry for a long time. As soon as she looks at your hair, she is able to determine what the hair needs and formulates a plan to maintain or revitalize the health of your hair. In my opinion, she is the best in the area. Those looking for black hair care specialists who will place love into their strands rather than profit should look no further. It's time to return to our roots!!!!

I met Tia at a mutual friend's birthday party. She complimented me on my hair and I told her about what I had been experiencing with it. Tia immediately diagnosed the problem and suggested a treatment. I scheduled a steam treatment with some additional care and my hair has been phenomenal. Recently went to get my ends clipped by Tia, it was my first time in her shop. Although the shop was very inviting and so was Tia, I have to say I really dislike my experience. My hair looks chopped up.

I found Mrs.Tia on Google and she did not disappoint. I wanted a cold wave perm but Tia sat down with me and di a consultant on making my hair healthy first. Let me tell you that steam spa treatment is nothing but the truth! My hair and scalp feels so much healthier. I will be going back twice a month . For this treatment. First I wanna talk about her comforting customer service — such a welcoming spirit! Tia is also professional and thoughtful. My review is over due lol Tia was completely amazing! I found her through google after I returned from my deployment. I needed a hair treatment bad! She gave me a consultation and price over the phone and when I arrived she was professional, timely, and very detailed in explaining what she was doing and why she was doing it. She also followed COVID requirements in her salon by sanitizing and social distancing. I will definitely be going to her as long as I am stationed in VA! Thanks Tia!!!

TIA IS AMAZING! She has a wonderful demeanor and is so good with hair! She communicated effectively when doing my hair so I knew what to expect. I have biracial hair and I was getting my hair cut short for the first time and I love it, I have gotten so many compliments. She also super responsive which is helpful when trying to get used to a new style that you’ve never had before. I highly recommend her!
