My daughter and I both go to Mikayla Perez. She does a fabulous job with balayage as well as cuts. She is excellent at listening to what you want and executing.

Staff is friendly and facility very clean. Refreshments available. Jessica is my stylist, and I get compliments on my hair all the time.

Awesome experience at Ballantyne location. Mackenzie gives a great cut and color .. she really listens and I was thrilled with the results. Love the blowout too !

First haircut in a very long time. I had just dreaded finding a new stylist after my previous one had moved. But wild-haired mountain man was not attractive. I saw Jessica at Element 5 in Ballantyne and my hair fortunes are now good! Jessica spoke with me at length about what I wanted and what may have contributed to my current hair condition. She listened. She understood. She contributed her insights. Then she went to work and the result is just perfect! I'm very happy with her work. Highly talented.

I called Element 5 yesterday at 9am after a botched balayage appointment at another studio. They brought me in at 10am for a consultation and the stylist, Rachel, was able to help me out 2 hours later. She was so understanding and took such good care of me! She fixed my hair and did not cause any additional damage. When leaving I received so many compliments and I felt so confident. I will be returning and requesting Rachel! She's amazing!

Well I can't say anything for the place or services, prices, abilities or otherwise because I called to inquire about an appointment and they immediately put me on hold for the next 9 mins until I hung up ....I get it that you are busy but at least check back in with me so I know I'm not forgotten.

Absolutely love this salon! I’ve been looking for a new place for a while, and I’ve found my spot. My stylist, Elizabeth, is AMAZING at what she does, and is the kindest human you’ll ever meet. Can’t wait for our next appts.

Very bad hair cut. I spend almost 60+ dollars on a hair cut which don't even feel like a proper cut. They treated me nicely but the least I could hv expected is a nice cut. Which is missing. Very disappointing. I'll have to spend again for a hair cut. 😢

Bree is my girl! I have been going to her for almost 3 years and she always gives me exactly what I want! She also knows how important having healthy hair is to me so she’s always doing what’s best for my hair as a blonde. On top of being so nice and a great stylist I love every product she recommends for me to use ! Thank you Bree !!

I am OBSESSED!!! Christiannah helped me even out my root band, did a little root smudge + some highlights, and helped me do A BIG CHOP 💇🏼‍♀️💇🏼‍♀️💇🏼‍♀️ truly nothing better than going to the salon and getting that hair massage when ur getting it washed, and then feeling like a princess when seeing the full result!!! Seriously could not recommend christiannah more!

I had such an amazing experience at Element 5 Salon! Everyone was so welcoming and my stylist Zack completely transformed my hair! I had been getting blonde highlights for the past 6 years and wanted to switch my hair up so I decided to go darker and it was the best decision, I gave Zack full control on the color and he absolutely killed it! I have never been so happy with getting my hair done, 11/10 recommend Zack!

I sought out Element 5 Salon because they use cruelty-free products. I’ve remained a client for years because of the atmosphere, the opposite of those salons where you feel the stylists’ tensions in the air. My stylist, Beckie, is so talented, passionate about her work, and a lovely person. I greatly appreciate the detailed conversation when I first sit down to ensure we’re on the same page about the descriptive words we use. Even measurements for trims are shown on my hair and confirmed first. Becky is a professional and a class act!!

Scheduled first time in this salon. When I came in (the day of my event), they said my appointment is on another day. Even though I confirmed my appointment prior. I didn't know salons can reschedule without clients concent. Left me in very difficult situation...

Stephanie has been the mastermind behind my hair for over two years, and her talent is truly unmatched. It's worth noting that I tried at least four other salons when moving to Charlotte before finding her. Stephanie's expertise with long, thick hair is unparalleled, and her ability to understand and execute exactly what I want is remarkable. She creates a welcoming and comfortable experience during every visit. I cannot recommend her enough; she's the only one I trust with my hair.
