A little unassuming gem of a nail salon on 5th! Beautiful, clean and very friendly staff. And they did an amazing job on my nails! Love it here!

I’ve come here several times to get my nails done with a friend who lives nearby for her convenience. On multiple occasions I’ve had issues with the lack of professionalism from the staff. When I told the the nail tech that the water was too hot for my feet, she had the audacity to tell me that it wasn’t. After arguing back and forth a couple times, she finally adjusted the temperature of the water which should have been done without all the pushback. Another time, when I told the tech not to push back or cut my cuticles, she gave me a judgey attitude and tried to get me to cut them anyways. One time I didn’t have cash on me for tips and had to use Venmo, for which I received a lot of attitude, leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I also saw this happen to my friend another time. Overall, I would never come here again now that my friend has moved. Getting nails done should be a pleasant experience. Instead, it felt like I was paying someone to make me feel frustrated and disrespected, not relaxed.

Love coming here. I always feel relaxed and my nails turn out great. Pro tip: add a 15 min shoulder massage and it’ll change your day for the better.

My favorite nail salon in the neighborhood! The space is well kept and clean and the technicians are very pleasant, making my nails look great every time. They've been able to accommodate me as a walk-in numerous times too.

Made my first visit to Element today after seeing the reviews and photos of the place. Very clean and aesthetically done up, lots of options for manicure and pedicure which is what I went in for. Vicky was extremely patient and did an excellent job on my manicure even with super short nails! The pedicure was very relaxing and enjoyable. It was a weekday but I called in advance to book a spot which was ready as soon as I entered. The staff was also respectful of my belongings and helped me keep things safe/close. All in all, a 5 star experience.

I haven’t had a manicure in ages- this is why🙄I got a NASTY nail bed infection from this location!! My finger was three times it’s size with puss inside of it for over 2 weeks! After a round of antibiotics and constant antibiotic creams, it’s still extremely sore and not yet healed. Just a warning for those who care. I won’t be back.

I've been coming here for years for pedicures pre and post races as a treat for my feet. Yangkyi has been taking care of me and does an amazing job. Often post races I'll get a pedicure with callous removal and once a year a paraffin treatment. No more ingrown nails and those 10 minute massages does wonders on recovery. Learned about this place from my wife and daughter who've been coming here for years. ##Update## Getting a pedicure here has become part of my pre Race Prep! I am no longer losing toenails🤩. They still get bruised but they don't fall off anymore💪🏽or turn black.

I’m a loyal customer whom always come to this nail shop due to the great staff & ambience . However the owner or manager whom ever she is , that’s always at the front door. Had the audacity to ask me for more tip for one of the employees who started my pedicure but couldn’t finish my manicure because she had to leave early. I don’t mind tipping! However , I gave the tip to the employee who finished the job ! Not only was the manager/owner pressing the issue about more tip. I also saw her talk about a several others who left NO tip at all OR too LITTLE ! I will NOT be coming back to this establishment after this incident. I believe in tipping & paying for great service, However her Cattiness & approach was completely unacceptable! Never have I ever dealt with an issue like this at this location! Or other nail shops in the area.

The BEST nail salon in park slope. Not only is the environment is relaxing and soothing, the employees here are great. I recommend making an appointment rather than walk-ins since it can get busy, but they still try their best to accommodate walk-in customers as well. I'm a regular here but I still always make sure to make an appt. Can't wait to go back to get my pedicure soon!
