Was in town for the weekend and had a gel Mani with Daniella on Sunday morning. Nails look amazing. All hygiene protocols were followed and everyone was very professional. Have recommended to family in the neighborhood and would definitely return.

Horrible horrible horrible!!! I had Gloria and I mentioned to her that I was on my lunch break and needed a regular pedicure and gel manicure. She said she could do the services in 1hr 15 min it took her over 2hrs I arrived at 2:25pm and left at 4:15!!! Every time I kept telling her I need her to movie faster she moved slower. She was very sloppy the gel mani had fibers in it, I was never offered a drink and it was just horrible. Gloria definitely know how to make you feel unwelcome. I can not recommend this place. Definitely not worth the $85 and $12 tip!!!!

Encourage advocating for more sanitary practices. Watch them actually open the pedicure tool packages in front of you, clean the pedicure sink in front of you, clean the shared cuticle tools with alcohol in front of you. I have been a patron for a little over a year and there has been some corners cut this summer. I have spoken with the Manager and also feel it is best to share my recent experience. Received a gel manicure two weeks ago, going into the second week my middle nail began to ache, I peeled the gel off the finger to find my nail is white and falling off. I went to them the next day to properly remove the gel and examen my other nails. The photos speak for themselves…almost all damaged or discolored in some way. When I arrived I spoke with the manager on the side and showed the one exposed nail…ironically enough, the manager was who prepped my nails the day of my appointment so I figured she’d be as alarmed…she wasn’t and in fact pulled in the other nail tech who ended up completing my service that day to ask/coach if my nail was “already this way before the gel polish” after minutes of confusion the tech lied and said yes, that my nail was in this condition before the gel…you can imagine how shocked and uncomfortable that made me…I explained they of course weren’t and that both of them viewed my nails that day and as professionals would have been alarmed and had the responsibility of refusing service on a visibly injured nail… I take care of my nails and actively look at them once the polish is removed and before new product is on…I certainly wouldn’t have put polish on my nails had they been visibly damaged. From my experience, I can only say to watch their activity carefully and advocate for yourself against any questionable practices.

Edited 7/14/2024 I have been coming to this nail salon every 2 weeks since early 2022. This used to be a 5 star review. But I can no longer come to this salon. I started seeing Shelley 2.5 years ago. She does an amazing gel manicure! A year and a half ago my partner started coming with me. Every 2 weeks, we'd come get our nails done - I get a gel manicure with Shelley, he gets a regular manicure. Shelley left for a bit and then came back, but cut down her time to Wednesdays and Thursdays. These are much more inconvenient times for me than the weekend, and we moved further away from the salon, but I figured out how to make it work because I love her. Today I called to make an appointment for me and my partner, as I have every 2 weeks for years now. They informed me that they no longer make appointments for regular manicures - they are walk-in only, and they no longer take requests for specific nail techs at all. Apparently this is because "sometimes people don't show up." They said I could call the day of (a Wednesday) to "see when Shelley was available" and my partner could walk in and see if there was anyone to do his nails. She told me that if we came at 11 am when the salon opens (on a Wednesday!) they could see both of us and she could guarantee me an appointment with Shelley. I told her that wouldn't work and asked if they could do it just for us, as we have been longtime reliable customers, but they said "no exceptions." I have a job and obviously can't just come in the middle of the day on a Wednesday. I make an appointment so I can get my nails done around my work schedule, as I'm sure many people do. I also go out of my way to come to this salon to see Shelley specifically - I don't want the appointment if I can't see her. And it is something my partner and I do together, so I wouldn't go if he can't get his nails done, too. I have no doubt that people no-showing is a problem, but I have cancelled literally three appointments in 2.5 years (and always with at least an hour's notice). I loved this place and was loyal to it for years. I have spent thousands of dollars here in that time. I'm disappointed that I'm going to have to find a new nail place - it just makes no sense to go out of my way to come here if I can't make an appointment with the nail tech I come for and my partner and I can't get our nails done together. The quality of the salon has definitely gone down in the last 6 months or so. I get the sense that there was an issue with management and a lot of the techs left. The ones who replaced them are definitely not as good. We had some other issues with management and bad techs in the winter and we actually stopped coming, but when Shelley came back we thought we'd try it again. I guess we were wrong. It feels really disappointing that they won't budge at all for a longtime customer. Maybe one day they'll realize that this is an awful policy and I can come back, but I don't know if I even would at this point. It's left a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

I come here because for the most part I could get a fairly decent pedicure but it's not my favorite place. Today's pedicure done by Magaly prompted me to leave a review. She's entirely too rough. Sticking me all types of ways with the cuticle cutter. I had to tell her twice she was being too rough. I can't say that I completely enjoy this place. It's a clean space but it's churn and burn when it comes to their services. Everytime I go it feels like a rushed job. The technicians seem disgruntled and unhappy working there. The 5% discount is such a scam tactic to lure you in. There's no discount. I won't be returning anymore.

Unfortunately after many years of coming here I can no longer support. I came for a regular pedicure and the tech cut my nails so short and bad I got ingrown nails on 5 of my nails. Within an hour of leaving I was in pain and it got worse that the days. I ended up having to see a podiatrist to remove the damaged nail which involved an incision and healing took 2 weeks. I did bring to managers attention and she gave me a gift card and did not refund me. I returned to the tech they told me to see and she cut the nails poorly again. I returned a few weeks later for a gel manicure. The tech cut my cuticle so bad my finger is now infected. My husband came with me on this visit and got a special pedicure. They filed his nails so short they burned the skin and removed callous to the point of his skin being raw. These girls are not trained well and they are greatly causing harm to the clients. While I was receiving my manicure another client came in complaining her nails had turned yellow from a manicure the day before. Not sure what that’s all about but I think this business is busy and putting untrained tech’s on the line at the cost of harm.

I love this place. They do nail art and custom designs. As a guy, I have not always been very welcome at some nail salons. This place is very inclusive. Everyone is kind and talented. I bring custom patterns and the salon artist paints them on my nails with amazing results. We use gel and it lasts 2-3 weeks. It's so reasonably priced especially for custom nail art in the area. And the environment is nice. The ready of the manicure is relaxing and comes with a mini massage. There's citrus water and tea available. I don't super love the indie white music, so consider bringing headphones. You can accumulate points towards future services with just your phone number. It's so convenient. All of their equipment is sterile and they open things in front of you. There's no question about standards or cleanliness. It's clear they treat their workers with respect and boundaries. These are honest, talented people proving quality, top notch service to the community at reasonable prices. Honestly, if someone complains about this place, they should consider whether they might be the problem.

Had an amazing experience at element beauty lounge located at the Bedford Ave location! Everyone treated you like a queen serving you tea and infused water with fruit. The massages were amazing! My toes were like brand new , fresh and so clean, clean! Very clean, quiet, comfortable place!

Love this nail salon. They always take their time and the nails are always perfect. Have been getting my nails done by Marisela and I would highly recommend booking with her. The place is also incredibly clean and they have a membership so you can get something back for your next visit. I have been lucky to get walking appointments but I recommend booking an appointment so you can get to your pampering session. You’ll be treated like a king queen or whatever royalty you identify as. Also the bathroom has the best selfie light. What else could you ask for?

I have been patronizing this business for 2 years. I had to stop coming. I use to go to a girl who left there. Most of the workers are rude. especially the receptionist. They don't treat the white and black customers the same. They are greeted totally different and treated like royalty. Some of the workers will barely say hello to you. I tip very well but they act entitled. The receptionist needs to work on her customer relations skills. All they care about is money.

I would say skip this place. One of the most painful and rushed, non-relaxing mani / pedi experiences I have ever had. They picked at the cuticles until they bled, multiple times. Dug in the nail beds with the metal tools, they dropped a tool off of the workstation, used it again and did not re-sanitize it or use a different one. They used a dremel to remove gel polish and that is NOT how the manufacturer has instructed for removing that type of polish. I had to ask for them to use the acetone remover as recommended by the manufacturer of the polish. I have no idea if the nail techs working there actually were licensed as there were no professional licenses displayed anywhere to be seen. The salon was clean looking. The polish looked nice enough after. I was charged $ 340 for three mani pedi’s and it was definitely not worth what I paid. (I work in the salon industry as a licensed professional if you are wondering why I am commenting on this the way I am.)

This place is so meticulous. They take so much time with each customer. Amazing cuticle work, I’ve never seen such neat manicures. They last at LEAST the full 2 weeks. Love them!
