I came in for my first curly cut and Lauren did not disappoint! She was extremely welcoming and answered all of my questions. She took her time and you can tell she loves what she does! I will definitely be back!

Jessica gave me a partial bleach and tied my extensions. She even recommended the right products to use for my extensions that also helped my natural hair. Most stylists will tell you, you just have “frizzy” hair but the products she recommended made me really want to embrace my natural curly/wavy hair as it became more defined and healthy! Additionally, I remember going around the time of the hurricanes and even in a stressful moment they made me feel really welcome as this was my first time at this salon. The atmosphere is amazing and I’d highly recommend as I’ve been to other salons that made me feel like I didn’t have a say in my own hair health. She didn’t cut a lot of my hair which was a concern from past experiences and I’m looking forward to seeing my hair finally getting better and back to its natural state.

LAUREN IS THE 🐐 ! I combed out my locs and was in need of some TLC - trim , shape , deep condition literally everything . She blessed my hair . This is the best curly cut I’ve ever had . Lauren did an incredible job on my curls! I came in with long, dead, dehydrated hair, and it’s like she brought it back to life. I didn’t realize my hair could look so moisturized and curly! She also educated me on proper washing/brushing/drying techniques to keep my hair healthy in between cuts. Thank you Lauren!

Worst haircut, curly girl DONT DO IT! the hair ended completely UNEVEN. On 11/26 I took my daughter for a curly hair cut and deep conditioning. Here are the results of the haircut. No one can tell me is because she has curly hair because I have curly hair also and I have NEVER experienced such thing. Hair dresser Lauren! Update to the owners reply. My daughter’s hair was dry, yes; and tangled but not damaged. I’m an esthetician and my mother is a hair stylist. We have a pretty good understanding of hair; more than half of the hair is uneven by a FEW Inches in a “perfect” cut on the back so no, that’s not breakage. Unfortunately I don’t trust the hair dressers at your salon after this unpleasant experience.

I absolutely loved my appointment with Kayla. I have curly hair and no stylist ever styled it in a way that I would love them. Kayla was so patient to walk me through every step so I can recreate the magic she did. I loved my curls first time. Everyone usually leaves half way through drying but she did 100% until its done. She has so much knowledge and passes it to clients to help them. I highly recommend her and am so glad I finally found a stylist who cares. Thank you Kayla.

Kayla made me cry I was so happy with her work! Following a terrible experience at another salon - bad cut and extremely terrible highlights. My hair was huge, triangular, fried and I was devastated. I did a Google search for a curly hair specialist and found the perfect person for me. I had no idea it was possible for my hair to look and feel so amazing! Kayla was kind, knowledgeable, professional, she educated me, tried products to see what was best for my hair, and provided me recommendations for products in several price ranges. I was and still am over the moon happy! I feel like the tragic hair experience lead me to research and spend the money on an expert - lead me straight to Kayla and I’m never going anywhere else.

One of the greatest salons I’ve been to- long story short it was my first time going here and aaliyah was just so compassionate and understanding and got me in again quickly to get me the hair I wanted and more. Ask for Aaliyah she does the best hair! I’ve never had a better cut or style done and she is just a ball of fire when it comes to hair she knows what she’s doing!!

I don’t usually write reviews but my appointment and results by Aaliyah were so amazing that I had to. I was so nervous to get my hair cut. I thought it was damaged beyond repair and previous stylists recommended that I cut it all off to a bob. Aaliyah made me feel so much better about my hair and the results are amazing. She really took her time cutting off all the damaged pieces and cut beautiful seamless layers. My hair looks and feels so healthy and it’s still long. I’m so happy with my result thank you so much Aaliyah!

I booked a curly wash but knew I needed a trim, I ended up with a big chop after telling the stylist I want to keep my length and that I have to put my hair in a bun or ponytail for work daily. My hair feels good but definitely not the look I was going for. She told me she would “refresh the shape” and not touch my length. Before and after pics.

I got the best curl cut. I had long hair, and it was cut to shoulder length with my curl pattern taken into account. It was nicely decorated and very clean. At the end of my appointment, I even got a written hair routine with all products used. I've been following it and my curls have never been better.

Awesome experience! I was styled by Kayla and the way how my hair turned out was gorgeous. 10/10 would recommend. She is very knowledgeable about kinky hair and did not assume that a product would work, but tested it first to make sure. Her service is excellent and she is very hospitable!

I had called for an appointment to have my super fine curly hair cut and styled. When I left, my hair was flat as a pancake, laden down with product, and barely touched with scissors in the back. I basically came out with a "page boy" type cut. I have never before paid $75 for such "styling," and I have had my hair styled in some of the best. If you want curly hair styled to your face, keep looking.

I like that it was so easy to schedule an appointment. Parking is right in front of the salon. My appointment started on time and Yari was a pleasure. She made me feel so comfortable and asked enough questions to get exactly what I wanted to do with my curly hair. I love that she took her time; I didn’t feel rushed at all. Really loved my haircut and the experience with her. Will definitely be back! I’d recommend Yari for a curly cut anytime!

I was styled by Kayla and she provided a wonderful experience. She’s very knowledgeable with ingredients and made sure I knew why certain products would or wouldn’t work with my hair. If you’re someone who is also nervous going into haircuts, book with her because she will show you exactly what she is cutting and not cut more than that! I’m only trusting her with my hair from now on, a forever client 🫶🏾

I went in for my first curly cut ever and I had the greatest experience! My hair came out amazing and so defined. Kayla was super sweet and non-judgemental about the state of my hair. She talked me through every step and gave tips on maintenance in between. I now have a greater understanding of my hair thanks to her. Elevate has a new returning client!

If you have curly hair and make a lot of money come here! If you aren’t prepared to spend $150 for a basic hair cut then go somewhere else!!!!! I had a great experience in here today, but ended up paying DOUBLE what I thought because of my curls! I love my new do, but I was not prepared for that!
