Mei Leigh has been cutting my hair regularly for a little less than a year, and I couldn’t be happier. She seems completely at ease with scissors in her hands, as her age defies her talent. Plus, she’s just a joy to be around. I feel fortunate to have found her. Elevate seems to be well run, and easy to work with. Scheduling is a breeze and the front desk staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Highly recommend

Angie was amazing to talk with....about hair and life. I have the thick curly/wavy hair and she set me up with a great style to start with. We will be tweaking throughout but that is because of me needing to be educated by her. And I will continue to drive 1 1/2 hours for a great cut! Thank you Angie!!

I love this salon (great environment!), and Nicole is the best stylist I have ever worked with in my life. Perfect highlights. She’s wonderful. Best hair salon in Charlottesville, I called today and had to reschedule but the woman who answered the phone was SO sweet. She’s exactly what embodies good customer service and an overall nice person. They’re very understanding and provide a GREAT service. Highly recommend.

Rachel did an amazing job with my cut and color! She really listened to me and asked a ton of questions about what I wanted and even suggested I try curtain bangs to help with some of my ends that have been a bit damaged. I love the cut and my hair feels so healthy. Also love that she gave me a nice root shadow to make everything really blended through beautifully which I love for easy maintenance. Highly recommended Rachel for your cut/color!!

Cannot recommend this salon enough. Me, my mom, and sister have been going to Jess for years. We all have different hair types and color treatments, and she styles all of us flawlessly. The salon itself is a lovely experience where you are pampered, even if you get a simple service. Will continue to recommend this salon to family and friends!

Elevate Salon is a welcoming, customer-driven business. I am new to the area and was so relieved to find a salon that really made the effort to find the right stylist for my hair type. The atmosphere is so comfortable nestled in the trees, they provide snacks and coffee drinks and make sure that you get excellent service.

Have had haircuts with Brett for almost a year now. My latest cut is the best. Brett is the best, listens carefully, creates a beautiful cut to compliment my features. She is my go to for styling. Her product recommendations are spot on.

Jess is an amazing stylist! She worked wonders when I walked in with a lowkey botched haircut from another place in town. Since then, she has not only continued to repair what was lost (haha), but also has added so much dimension, texture, and layers to my bulky mass of hair. She has such a warm personality and really listens to what I want, while also using her expertise to cut in a way that flatters/suits my face. Also, she takes her time, which I appreciate - she pays attention to the details! All the other stylists seem great, too, and I definitely appreciate the friendly front desk staff and the treats nearby.

Nicole was such a gem to work with! She gave an honest and helpful consultation as my hair’s texture has changed after a surgery and gave me a great cut for my newly wavy/curly hair. She also gave my styling and product tips. Very professional! Definitely going back!
