Candy is amazing. I show her a bunch of pictures, which is a supremely annoying thing for a customer to do, because each reference image usually has a slightly different haircut - but she figures out the vibe I’m going for and she gives me exactly the cut I wanted. Great for a minor life change or a quarter-life crisis or something. Highly recommend.

I haven't had a quality haircut in AGES and I'm so glad I found this spot. Candy takes such care with every step of a haircut. For me, it was a bit on the expensive side, but definitely on par with salon prices for this area, and also worth the price.

I've been going to Ruben for about 1.5 years. He's awesome. I had been growing out my hair the entire time and my style kept changing as my hair grew. Ruben is always able to suggest good styles and help me understand how my hair grows and what to expect.

So happy with my hair cut from Candy King! I booked her for a women's long haircut. She took time to ask me what exactly I wanted, looked at my reference photos and gave her own suggestions as to what would work for me in terms of texture and length. When taking off length, she confirmed verbally and then made the smallest cut to show me exactly how much she was taking off. Multiple times when cutting length and layering, she would check that both sides of the hair were even. Half an hour in to the appointment, she stepped away to block off more time in the scheduling app so that she wouldn't have to rush my cut which I really appreciated. We agreed that my hair needed a lot of thinning and Candy spent a lot of time thinning it out strategically, going back over the sections that needed more and checking for consistency. After she was done, she made sure I was happy with the cut and styling before letting me leave. I also think that the pricing is very fair for what you get and she keeps her salon clean. Candy was very friendly and I will be returning here! Thank you Candy!!

Great hairstylist at reasonable prices. I’ve gone to Ruben a number of times. He knows how to cut and style hair well. Both stylists seem to have a following. Highly recommend.

Ruben only reserved 30 minutes to cut my hair apparently!!!! My hair is a type 3C curly hair that I’ve grown over the course of almost 3 YEARS and I specified that I had a long curly hair before making my appointment. It makes me furious to think that someone would go over my hair in just HALF AN HOUR, I was sincerely expecting more experience from someone that has been over 20 years in the business. Glad I haven’t gone there and never will!! I will now be charged the full amount because I’m not showing up so he can race against the clock to cut my hair… just great!

It was my first time visiting and I am glad I did. The salon is nestled in a nice community with plenty to do both before and after. I had the pleasure of getting a haircut by Ruben who made me feel welcome in their comfortable salon. The quality of service is well beyond what I've experienced elsewhere and I highly recommend to anyone who is able! Thanks Ruben! Love the Haircut!

Candy did a great job on my long full frizzy mane. She understood my hair type and worked accordingly. She even gave a brief head massage during the conditioning, not a scratchy scrub but real pressure point massage! It was so relaxing. You can also book appointments online through their website which is super convenient. I will definitely go back.

Candy is very skilled at cutting Asian hair and charges a fair price ($50) for an excellent woman's haircut. She offers free bang trims in between. She's an expert at creating a cut that flatters without being noticeable (none of that awkward just-got-a-haircut-and-my-hair-looks-reallly-short nonsense) – subtle and excellent.
