I had an amazing experience with Haley Duncan! She truly listened to what I wanted and gave me a hairstyle that exceeded my expectations. Her attention to detail and the quality of her work are outstanding. The final result was absolutely stunning. The salon was clean, welcoming, and had a relaxing vibe. I can’t recommend Haley Duncan enough—she is the best!

Wanted to try out a hair salon down in Columbia while here for school and was so pleased to have Halie as my hairstylist. She did an amazing job bringing out my curl definition. She was super sweet and recommended really good products that I will definitely be buying because they really enhanced the value of my hair and the curls. Overall experience was a 10/10!

Absolutely love this place! Such a chill vibe and relaxing. My girl Tayleigh is amazing! Always keeps my hair looking fresh and healthy especially after having my baby girl. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a great stylist.

I can't say enough great things about Emily at Ellen Owens Salon. She is professional, incredibly talented, and extremely knowledgeable. She is also a joy to talk to! She has colored and cut my hair a few times now, and I could not be more pleased. I have gotten many complements on my color. The salon is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. I would recommend Emily at Ellen Owens to anyone!

Unfortunately I did not have the best experience here at the salon. I went in for a cut and balayage and came out disappointed. The color looks very unprofessional, to the point where I went to my car and cried a little (overreaction? Probably). I wouldn’t have minded it so much but I paid over $200 for something I’m embarrassed of and I was too afraid to tell the hairdresser because she was so nice. Overall, the people and environment were nice but I would not recommend someone getting color done here. The cut was good though, so if you do go, go for a cut or trim.

I absolutely love this salon! I started going to Kelly back in June when she was working at another salon and when she moved I followed her here and I couldn’t be happier!! Kelly is absolutely amazing and this salon is exceptional. It’s a very professional atmosphere and they really do take care of you. My hair hasn’t looked this great ever!! Kelly is so knowledgeable and is also a great person. She will take into consideration what you want and will stay true to your vision. However, if you ask her to (like I do), she will add her special touch and do whatever she thinks will look great on you! She takes so much pride in her work and it shows!! She’s become more than my hair stylist over the past few months. She’s become a friend!

I have gotten balayage done twice at Ellen Owens Salon with Emily and it’s been amazing. I was scared to get my hair died for the first time but I knew I could trust Emily. She does incredible work. She will do exactly what you ask her to do. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

My stylist Kelly works at Ellen Owens Salon. The salon is beautiful, clean, and centrally located in downtown. If you need a stylist please try Kelly, she is AMAZING. I have been getting my hair professionally colored for 17 years and Kelly is by far the best stylist I have ever had. No matter if I want to go purple or blonde Kelly knows how to color my hair in a way that gives me beautiful, lasting, and healthy color. She also does an incredible job with cuts and blowouts. All this and she is a wonderful human being. Try Kelly, you won't regret it.

Words cannot express how much I LOVE having Kelly as my hair stylist and colorist! She's absolutely AMAZING!!!! I have wanted to go blonde for as long as I can remember, but I was always afraid it would be a disaster and would just look horrible ... but Kelly listened to my concerns, paid attention to my naturally strawberry hair and gave me something beyond what I could have hoped for! I get compliments all the time on the gorgeous highlights and dimension she created!!!! She truly is an artist! Beyond her amazing talent, it is an absolute joy being in her chair! While she makes my hair look it's best EVER we have so much fun!! Talking about this and that, laughing about crazy life moments, and discussing the world ... it is such a pleasure! I absolutely could not recommend anyone more! If you want fantastic hair that is perfectly YOU created by a MASTER, and you want to have fun at the same time, book an appointment with her now! YES!! Emily is amazing. I loved my haircut, but I also was so grateful for my time in the salon. She makes sure your experience is 100% perfect. Relaxing, smell-good-y...just all around wonderful. Truthfully I’m picky about haircuts - I want something that looks good out of the salon but also when I go home and style it myself. I would recommend her to anyone! Definitely an experienced stylist.

Loved my experience, the place and the services. Emily did a great great job with my color !! Very knowledgeable. trustworthy and professional. The salon itself is very spacious and not crowded with stations as other salons are. Really I can't recommend her enough (I was neither paid nor told to write a review but I had trouble finding a good colorist in columbia so I hope it helps others).
