I highly recommend Ellen! Anyone that asks me who to go to for hair, I point them to Ellen! She educates me on how hair coloring works every time so I’m not in the dark. She’s so awesome! I had a bad experience with another hair stylist a year ago and Ellen has been awesome at fixing the issue that transpired with the other stylist and my hair is back to being beautiful because of her!

This is the first time that I went to Ellen for color and a haircut. The consultation was amazing. She took her time explaining to me everything about different colors. How she colored my hair was amazing. Perfect. The haircutting is exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be going back. Thank you Ellen! Amazing time!

Ellen is very knowledgeable and very sweet. She took the time and helped me understand my hair and did a wonderful job at cutting my hair. I just wanted my hair to be healthier. I hadn't cut my hair professionally since probably 2018. I highly recommend her.

This was THE best consultation, cut and style that I've ever had. Ellen really took her time and asked all the right questions to help me figure out what I expected out of my appointment. We looked at photos of some hairstyles that were age-appropriate. She's definitely on top of the latest hair trends! Can't recommend her enough! And, did I mention it was really fun!

Ellen is a true artist!! I found Ellen when I was desperate to fix a terrible highlight job and haircut. The color was so bad I didn’t think there was anything that could be done to remedy it… but in came Ellen. She moved her schedule around to accommodate me the very next day! She took all the time she needed to explain exactly what had been done to my hair and how she was going to fix it. She genuinely wanted to hear what end result I wanted and figured out how she could accomplish that. She spent time evaluating and re-evaluating the situation to come up with the perfect solution. She is an absolute professional and a master at her craft. The end result surprised us both! It was even better than I could have imagined especially with what she started with. Not only was the color absolutely amazing, she is a pleasure to talk with and she truly makes you feel comfortable! Thank you so much Ellen!

I love Ellen!! I have been going for highlights at Ellen salon since 2015. I went based off of her Google reviews and I was not disappointed. She’s great at hair and she’s fun to be around. I just can’t say enough good things about her and the work that she does, if you need highlights, she’s the person you should call.

I have been seeing Ellen for many years. I told her after my appt a couple weeks ago that she is a GENIUS. She gave me the most beautiful blonde balayage, using some Pinterest pictures for reference. She nailed it. I love the setting of her salon and enjoy spending time with her which is an added bonus. :)

I have been going to Ellen for 9 years for my cut& color. I receive so may compliments on my hair after I see her. I recently moved 45 minutes away, but I continue to go see Ellen. No one has ever been able to handle my wavy thick hair like she can! She listens to what I want and offers great and fun suggestions if I want to try something different. I won't trust my hair to anyone else!

I have been going to Ellen for about 3 years, and she's been wonderful. Her space is warm and inviting, and she takes the time to really find out what you're looking for. She's taken me from long, to short, to long and probably short again sometime. I also appreciate that she's honest about what kind of haircut works with my hair. I feel like she could have saved me from a few bad hair choices in the past. I highly recommend Ellen, she's wonderful to spend time with and is one of the best stylists I've been to.

I will only come here for my hair. Ellen took her time and explained so much in her consultation. I felt very comfortable that she knew exactly what she was doing. She provided great ideas after I explained what I was generally looking for. I also had coloring which she did so beautifully. :) So happy with my experience here. ☺️

If you want someone that cuts your hair in 5 minutes and doesn’t talk then don’t go here. If you love conversation, connection and a good laugh then this is your place. My trim took almost 3 hours, but she was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about my hair and the products I use. She also made sure to ask if there was somewhere I needed to be a couple of times. Overall it was a very great experience and I feel as though I found someone very honest and open, which is very hard to find.

So thankful Ellen had an opening to do my hair a week before my wedding! I had been to another salon just over a month ago and did not get what I asked for. The yellow blonde highlights I received after stating “no blonde please” left me unhappy and not confident at all. I came across Ellen after looking at many salons and reading reviews and she had the best overall so I decided to see if she could fix my hair. The moment I sat in Ellen’s chair I immediately felt relieved. She spent some time explaining the process of what she would be doing and we looked at pictures together and discussed what would look best on me and then she went to work. Y’all ever go to a salon and sit there awkwardly trying to think of something to say and come out with “so.. how long have you been doing hair?” Just no. None of that. When I say I felt like she was my best friend I truly mean that. I felt so comfortable and like I’d known her for years and could trust her with my life and there wasn’t a moment where the conversation wasn’t flowing. And the best part, my hair is absolutely perfect for my wedding and I actually feel confident and beautiful again!! I am so blessed to have found Ellen and thank God I was lead to her! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone and I will only go to her for as long as I’m here! Thank you Ellen!

Amazing! So I was so nervous to find a new hair place as I was with the same unfortunate person for like 10 years , but I wish I would have found Ellen Regina hair so so much sooner!!! I never like to find new stylists because they are usually Horrible and its so hard to find someone that actually is great at their job!!! She is knowledgeable, professional and Oh so talented!! The atmosphere made me feel comfortable and at ease.I have the thinnest, fuzziest blonde hair, or should I say *had* 😍 She explained everything to me and came up with a game plan to help restore my hair and then she went at it and walked me through every step! I didnt even know that stylists offered nice deep conditioning!!! I highly recommend Ellen!! I also highly recommend the treatments as my hair looks and feels brand new! She made my hair look healthy and beautiful NOW and came up with the plan for the future of my hair, daily and every time I will come back! I feel like i left with a sense that my hair will finally be ok. I used to cry about how self conscious my hair used to make me feel, but now I have my confidence back and feel incredible again! Ellen has been doing my hair for 10 years and has successfully recovered and corrected my hair from box black to all sorts of high fashion colors and neutral shades. She does what’s best for your hair and educates you on habits/products you should adopt. When I first went to her she told me “we can’t take you there today, but I can take you there without destroying your hair” and that shows huge integrity because she knew exactly what needed to be done.

Ellen is an amazing person and hairstylist! I found her a year ago when we moved to Colorado springs and have been using her services since then. I love how she colors my hair. Before I would always have a color band and uneven color after trying several hairstylists in Indiana. I am very lucky to find Ellen here in Colorado springs and I highly recommend her!

I found Ellen by chance. I have curly hair and it is difficult to find a stylist who truly has the skill set to cut this hair type. Ellen is excellent! She is incredibly knowledgeable and carries an amazing product line. To add a little bit more weight to this review, my mom was a beautician/cosmetologist and also taught in this business for many years. Growing up, I had access to salon quality products and services. Ellen is the real deal.

I often come in with only a vague idea of what I want done, but Ellen always takes the time to talk to me and describe exactly what options I have. Today I came with color in mind and she absolutely made my hair look the way I hoped with only a brief description. Her knowledge is extensive and she is so experienced. Not to mention she is a great person to talk to while she works. Definitely give her a call!

Ellen Regina's is the place to go if you want a great cut and beautiful highlights. I have been going to her for at least a year now, and every time it's been so pleasant. Ellen is very personable and cares a great deal about each one of her clients. She doesn't rush through, on the contrary, she takes her time and does exactly what you want and ask her to do. Also, I have had several people compliment my hair. One lady even took a picture of my hair to show to her beautician. I would absolutely recommend Ellen to anyone who wants the absolute best color, highlights and style. She is FANTASTIC!!!!

Ellen is a magician and a scientist (lol). She did an AMAZING job formulating the perfect color for my hair and skin type. Also taking into account years of prior coloring. Spending the time to walk me through the whole process. Even taking special consideration to ensure that the whole bleaching process did not damage my hair. My hair looks and feels amazing and I couldn't be happier!

I wish I could give infinite stars instead of just five. If your scrolling through Google's listings of Colorado Springs salons, just stop, stop right here, do yourself the biggest favor and schedule yourself with Ellen. If you're that woman that is very particular about your hair and stylist and how you want every detail done, Ellen is your girl. As someone who has been all over the greater U.S., I can say that she is one of the VERY FEW who can cut, style, and color hair correctly, in my humble opinion. She's an artist in her own right and takes all your wants, needs, concerns, and ideas into consideration, and won't hesitate to tell you what will and won't work for you and your hair personally. Its a very personalized experience. Takes her time with you and makes sure you get exactly what you want and never makes you feel rushed or pressured. Just like a great tattoo, don't expect the art to be cheap. Its so worth it though. Its all extra sanitary now, she takes extra precautions with taking temperatures and sanitizing everything down to your debit card. The salon is super clean, cozy, inviting, and has beautiful art from local artists hanging everywhere. I always get the best advice for my hair and constantly get complements when I'm out. I always feel ten times more confident stepping out of this salon than when I stepped in. Guaranteed. P.s. go crazy, don't be boring, go for that cut or style you've always wanted! ETA. wanted to mention, forgot to add, just for reference. Ellen is an amazing colorist, she takes my hair from it's natural brown blonde to bright platinum/silver to lavender and baby pinks. So if you're looking for that really pretty pastel look, give her a call :)

I'm so glad I came across Thrive! When I "Requested a booking", I was very happy of how quickly Ellen and Hannah reached out to me. I had a photoshoot coming up and Ellen recommended Hannah to me and I'm so glad she did! Hannah went above and beyond for me. I came in with an inspiration pic and Hannah did an amazing job in recreating it in a way that worked with my hair, weather & occasion! I got ALOT of compliments for my hairdo, it lasted for hours and I couldn't be any happier with the outcome! Thank you so much Hannah! I will definitely be returning :-)
